Deactivate the Foreign Trade data in SD

Dear Friends,
How can I inactivate the Foreign Trade data...Incompletion schema....I dont want to maintain this for my exports sales order.....
So the system is not generating Accounting document without filling the Foreign data?
Thanks
Ivy

Hi Ivy,
In case Invoice Split is happening as your header detail for he Foreign trade data is differen on the billing document .
If the header fields in the billing documents created are not identical which causes an invoice split
VBRK-KNUMV
VBRK-NETWR
VBRK-MWSBK
VBRK-VBELN
VBRK-RFBSK
VBRK-ERNAM
VBRK-AEDAT
VBRK-ERDAT
VBRK-ERZET.
The above mention field fields should not cause a split but ither than that can cause a split .
To avoid a split due to different header fields - except for the fields listed above - you have the option of using customer-specific data transport routines in the copying control of the relevant document types which initialize the corresponding fields. However, the information contained in these fields is then lost in the billing document
Check note 11162 for more detail.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Sameer

    hi
Read the following SAP note. This can also be the case.
Note 354222 - Foreign trade data incomplete for domestic business
    Symptom
A billing document cannot be transferred into accounting because the foreign trade data is incomplete.
However, the underlying business process is a domestic business!
    Additional key words
VF01, VF02, EIPO, EIKP, foreign trade, incompleteness, domestic, delivery, billing document, EXNUM, EXPKZ,export indicator, export number
    Cause and prerequisites
In the respective delivery or in the billing document, for domestic business you by mistake go to the foreign trade data into a field. Since the incompletion log requires at least one entry for foreign trade, you must fill one field in order to be able to leave the foreign trade data again without canceling document processing.
Here, an export indicator and an export number is assigned which cause the incompleteness of the whole document due to missing export data.
    Solution
A solution in the standard system is currently not planned since because of various customer requests the foreign trade data in the delivery should be accessed and maintained for domestic business too. An example is the inbound delivery in a bonded warehouse where the forwarding agent should get information already in advance.
To avoid incorrect billing documents, proceed as follows:
Copy data transport routine 001 to a routine 601 and enhance the new routine according to the attached correction instruction (RV60C601). Store this new data transport routine in Customizing for the copying control for billing documents for the processes you use, for example
    F2 - LF, item category TAN. (delivery-related)
If you already use an own data transport routine, in this data transport routine include the attached source code.
You must cancel existing billing documents and then create them again.
If you do not want to cancel existing documents, implement the attached correction (program RV60AFZZ) and release the documents either individually (VF02, default transaction) or via the list of blocked billing documents (VFX3).
After you completed the correction, you should cancel this solution (RV60AFZZ) again.
Also refer to the attached Note 170183.

  • Foreign Trade Data

We would like to generate export documents (FUCI, FUSD, FUCO) for orders that have a domestic ship to address.  The process works fine for export shipments, however there is no foreign trade data copied into the delivery or billing documents if the ship to party is domestic.  Is there a setting in copy control or user exit that will allow these fields to be populated?
    Thank you, Julie
Edited by: Julie Simonds on Feb 7, 2008 4:36 PM

    Hi Julie,
I just checked, the user exits could be used for modyfing the EIPO data. But you will have to be careful with this because the EIPO data reference key needs to be picked from the LIKP table. So you need to ensure that the user exit is used in calling the whole sub module of Foreign trade and not just the updation of EIPO table.
Because the issue is that if its a domestic shipping the foreign trade data would not be generated at all. So you would have to ask the ABAP team to call include or Functional module which generates the foreign trade data. This include will change the LIKP and EIPO table  as  done in the export/import shipment cases.
Let me know if you need more assistance.
    regards,
    Abhishek

  • Billing: Foreign trade data missing error

    Hello friends,
I have a peculiar problem while trying to release billing doc to accounting. Delivering country is BE and Desination country is DE. I have setup config under Foreign data transportation to pull up default values by maintaining Tcode VI95.
However when I do VF01 the system doesn't seem to pull that data. Futhermore if I were to save the billing doc with foreign trade data as incomplete and then do VF02 to enter the data making sure the doc is complete, the system still won't let me post the data saying that foreign trade is still missing when infact it has been entered manually and the doc says its complete.
    Any ideas??

    Hi Robert,
did you know the OSS-Note 354222? Perhaps it usefull for you to have a look on it. If you one time go into the foreign trade data in the invoice, and they are incomplete you can't transfer this invoice to accounting.

  • Incompletion log in delivery for foreign trade data

    Hi all,
I am doing export delivery and i want to put foreign trade date as in incompletion log.
This log i want to do only for export document types (zex) which i have created separately.
    Delivery header > foreign trade / custom >geography >
    1. Export customs office
    2. Office of destination
    Delivery Item > Foreign trade/Custom > Origin / Destination >
    3. Country of origin
    4. Dispatch country
I want to make those 4 field as mandatory while doing export order. But these fields are in the EIPO table which is not there in the delivery incompletion log.
Can anyone please help me how to solve this issue.
    Thanks in advance,
    Babs

    Hi Babs,
the foreign trade data can't be included into the incompletion log.
You have to create both incompletion log in T.code VI29.
Then you have to assign this logs to your country in VI49.
In standart SAP it's not possible to make this only for one document typ, this checks will be done for all foreign trade data.

  • Foreign trade data in SD

    Hi experts,
There is a need of reporting on foreign trade data in SD.
    In R/3
According to my knowledge foreign trade data present in table EIKP and EIPO. when I see in document level of SD delivery and billing, I find that the corresponding foreign data comes from Material Master records.
Now I don't find EIKP and EIPO tables fields(like commodity code, office of exit, mode of transport) for Material Master data in BW as well as in R/3. Even I don't find that Material master data is based on these tables?
How can I extract the foreign trade data from ECC to BW?
    Can anyone help me?
    Rakesh

You have a couple of possibilities here. If you want your SD DataSources for billings and deliveries to have this data, you can append the fields needed to the extract structure and create a User Exit for those respective DataSources through CMOD to lookup on the EIKP and EIPO tables. The other choice would be to create generic DataSources for each table, or if possible create a view of these two tables and create one generic DataSource from that view.

  • Invoice split due to 'Number of foreign trade data in MM and SD documents'

    Hello experts,
We need to avoid invoice split that happens becuase of the different foreign trade numbers on delivery headers. After going through few of the other related threads, I found one solution to this issue where in
We go to VTFL and under DEL TO BILL AND HEADER DATA -->DETERMINE EXPORT DATA maintain B
Using above we can avoid invoice splitting. But this still does not resolve my issue as for us some plants need setting of A for the above. So we were wondering how we can control this setting based on the plants.

    Hi,
For your particular process you have to by Pass the invoice splitting which is based on foreign trade data. But as per standard it wont be recommended. But if you are very much assured this is what you want you can create splitting rule which will bypass checking the Foreign trade data. For this , go to VOFM and select data transfer, billing documents, and copy routine 001which is for invoice splitting, modify this routine and make another one with your requirement and assign it to VTFL data transfer.
    Hope it will help.
    Thanks,
    Raja

  • Foreign Trade Data: Redetermining

My open purchase orders did not show a foreign trade tab before. I made it possible that a foreign trade is ALWAYS shown in the PO now. It is obvious that these fields in my previuos PO are not filled in the new situation. How can make the foreign trade data be redermined or determined in my old open PO's?

    Hi
Please check in transaction ME22N and enter the PO and click on check icon, probably the foreign trade details will get determined.

  • Foreign Trade data in Invoice

    Hello SAP Experts,
We are having many Invoices failing to create Accounting documents due to "Missing Foreign Trade data".
This issue have arised as they have Materials which are service materials and these service materials are not meant to have Export data.
Do we have any setting where we can make the "Foreign trade data " as exempt for these service materials and/or the Invoice do not have the Incompletion log  for missing FT data.
Attached is the Invoice screeshots showing incomplete FT data and Posting status "Posting document not created (export data missing)"
Thanks in advance for your answers.
    Umesh Karane

    Hello Lakshmipathi,
I have checked the Incompletion log maintained and it's not maintained for Foreign Trade data.
I have also checked the Possibility of making the SERVICE Item's data as BLANK in material master: General /plant data , : Foreign Trade data, but even then the Billing document shows: FT incomplete.
Can we maintain Exemption for Foreign trade data for "SERVICE" materials in the Configuration of Foreign trade in IMG?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
    Thanks and Regards,
