Have you loaded the studio edition?
You have spaces in the path name which are known to cause trouble (like yours).
You can set the environment variable IDE_USER_DIR to a path without spaces and start jdev again. This should create some folders at the new location. then try to start your app again and see it it can build the integrated WLS.

    HI
    In JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.0,
    1. Click on the tab for the Connections navigator.
    2. Right click on Application Server and select New Application Server Connection.
    3. Enter a descriptive name for the new connection, and select the appropriate connection type from the drop down list. Click Next.
    4. Specify oc4jadmin for User Name, then enter the oc4jadmin password. Click Next.
    5. Select Single Instance for Connect To, then provide the host name where BPEL is installed, the OPMN port number, and the OC4J instance name (the default for 10.1.3.1 is oc4j_soa). Click Next.
    6. Click Test Connection. If you have been successful, you should see "Success!"
    7. Now, right click on Integration Server and select New Integration Server Connection.
    8. Specify a connection name and click Next.
    9. In the drop down list by Application Server, select the Application Server Connection you just created. Again, specify the host name where BPEL is installed and the port number. This port number will be the same that you specified for the Integration Server Connection to the home OC4J container. Click Next.
    10. Test the connection. You should see something like:
    Application Server: OK
    BPEL Process Manager Server: OK
    ESB Server: OK
    11. Now, return to the Applications navigator, and try to redeploy your process using the Integration Server Connection just created. (It is possible that you will have to close JDeveloper and then reopen it for this to work.)

    i worked out with the statements in help file which is as follows
    11.6.1 No available router to destination Message is Displayed When Attempting to Connect to the Administration Server from WLST
    When trying to connect to the WebLogic Server Administration Server from WLST using localhost as the host name, the following message may be displayed if the listen-address attribute of the Administration Server has been restricted to certain IP addresses:
    javax.naming.CommunicationException [Root exception is
    java.net.ConnectException : <t3://HOST:PORT> : Destination unreachable;
    nested exception is: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused; No
    available router to destination
    Workaround
    Use either of the following workarounds:
        Check that the listen-address attribute of the Administration Server has been set correctly in the domain configuration file. You can either remove the listen-address line or simply comment it out. Oracle recommends that you comment it out in case you need to know the value at a later time. For example, in the domain configuration file:
        <server>
           <name>AdminServer</name>
           <ssl>
           </ssl>
           <machine>machine_name</machine>
           <!-- listen-address>machine_ip_address</listen-address -->
        </server>
        Use the host name of the Administration Server, instead of localhost, in the WLST connect command.
    i removed listen address in config file..but i am still facing with same error

    Hello,
    Were you able to resolve this? I am facing the same issue where my JDev is on a separate machine from the SOA server. Where is the "domain configuration file" located? I am running 11.1.1.6. Within JDev all the other options for the Application Server (Deployments, Servers, Web Services) return results quickly. SOA is throwing the error you mention.
    Thank you.

  • Adding Oracle Application Server to JDeveloper

    Hii,
    I want to add Oracle Application Server 10.1.2g to my Application Server list in JDeveloper 10.1.3g.
    I am stuck in the point where it asks for the "Remote Server's Oracle Home Directory".
    Whenever I supply with the path e.g. "D:\OraHome_1", or "\\node1\OraHome_1", it says "Invalid Directory".
    The Oracle Application Server is installed in a different computer in the network.
    Actually, I would like to add it to my JDeveloper, so that, I can deploy my applications directly through JDeveloper, without having to use the Oracle application Server Enterprise Manager console.
    Please help...

    Log into Oracle Application Server Enterprise Manager and get the correct path from the information of the instance you're intending deploying to (eg. home). You have write the directory path as it is displayed (even UPPER and lower case is important).

    Yes, you can.
    The GIF file must be under a directory where Oracle can read, like the %ORACLE_HOME%/Java directory. And you only specify the file name, not the full path.

    splashScreen=my_splash.gif

    Hello everyone,
    I am trying to use JDeveloper to create a connection an Oracle WebLogic Server configured for Oracle SOA Suite. When I navigate to Connections and click on Application Server Connection, JDeveloper produces and error with the diagnostics shown below. I'm new to using JDeveloper so any help or advice on how to start to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Fore the record I'm using JDeveloper 11G R2 (11.1.2.1.0) running on a Linux Red Hat 5 64 bit server.

    Not sure if this is a cause for your error, but JDev11.1.2.1.0 doesn't work with SOA right now. For SOA you need to use jdev11.1.1.5.0 or lower.

  • JBoss Application server setup with netbeans IDE.

    Hi All,
    I need to configure the JBoss Application server with netbeans IDE. I have tried this scenario,
    1) Unzip the jboss-4.2.2.GA.zip into jboss dir.
    2) Selected the JBoss Application server 4.
    3) And i have set the Installation location like this j:/jboss/jboss-4.2.2.GA. In this i got some problem.
    The problem is: Next button did not selected.
    Error: provide valid installation dir path.
    How to resolve this problem? Can anyone give suggestions for resolving this error?
    Its very urgent!!

    A couple of things:
    1. if you are using SJSAS 9.0 it's Glassfish v1 (not v2 - that's probably for the 9.1 version? I don't know, I'm running 9.0 and installs fine with Gf v1 - thanks for the tip, btw!)
    2. as for the domain, just pick the default offered (unless you have some specific requirement) - in any event, it's under the domains/domain1 folder
    you can always create a new one and register (it will have its very own folder under /domains) but given that's probably a dev box, I can hardly see the point (and when I did it a long time ago, it was more pain that any human being should be subjected to :-)
    Finally, one cannot but wonder why on earth someone (at Sun) developed NB and put Sun Java Application Server (developed at Sun) as one of the options that won't work with SJAS 9.0+ (developed at Sun) but one has to instead choose Glassfish (developed at Sun) and that won't work if one chooses v2 instead of v1 if it's SJAS 9.0 instead of 9.1 (or vice versa)...
    Don't these guys test the thingy with THEIR own stuff?
    Don't get me wrong, I totally love Sun, and all the good stuff they come up with (NB, SJAS, etc. etc.) but done it properly it would help them to gain market share, now, wouldn't it?

  • Sun Java System Application Server 8.2 PE With Sun MQ 4.1

    Hi,
    I sucessfully deployed my bvrowser application on sjsas8.2-PE on solaris Sparc machine. As we all know sjsas8.2 comes with Sun MQ 3.7 but i want to use Sun MQ 4.1 instead. I sucessfully installed the Sun MQ 4.1 on sparc machine as a separate instance. Am I right here????....
    If I am right than what do i have to do to use MQ 4.1 instead of using default application server MQ 3.7. Do i have to upgrade the MQ instance??? My server support the JMS using following Xml....format...If I provide the information correctly....
    <LISTENER active="true" type="jmslistener" id="JMS">
    <ADAPTERID>Anything</ADAPTERID>

    <SECURITY_CREDENTIALS></SECURITY_CREDENTIALS> *<---- We can ignore this*
    </JNDI>
    </LISTENER>
    I do not have any idea how to work around this...please help....
    Thanks in advance:)

    I found out the solution.... First of all we do not need to integrate Sun MQ 4.1 with Application server.Please find out the procedure below to work around with Sun Application Server 8.2 PE and Sun MQ 4.1 using your application.
    Installation Required_
    Sun Application Server 8.2
    Sun MQ 4.1
    Process_ (steps are same for all platform, I used Sun Solaris Sparc machine with Linux - Command line)
    *1)* First of all start you MQ 4.1 Broker on some port using command:
    $ imqbrokerd -port <port_num> (7676 is already used by Application Server MQ v 3.7 so try some other say 7677)
    Now from another session add your physical destinations to this broker we have started on <ip_address>:<port_num> using commands
    $ imqcmd -b <ip_address>:<port_num> create dst -t q -n QIN
    $ imqcmd -b <ip_address>:<port_num> create dst -t q -n QOUT .... and so on
    You can check your destination using following commands:
    $ imqcmd -b <ip_address>:<port_num> list dst - will show you following screen shot
    Username: admin
    Password:
    Listing all the destinations on the broker specified by:
    Host Primary Port
    10.44.5.14 7677
    Name Type State Producers Consumers Msgs
    Total Count UnAck Avg Size
    QIN Queue RUNNING 0 0 0 0 0.0
    QOUT Queue RUNNING 0 0 0 0 0.0
    mq.sys.dmq Queue RUNNING 0 0 0 0 0.0
    Successfully listed destinations.
    Now our queues are ready to ROCK!!!!
    *2)* Secondly create a JMS connection factory using Application Server GUI with address list 'mq://<ip_address>:<port_num>'
    *3)* That's it. You are ready to use this connection factory and queues. I am copying a test application which sends data to queue and retrieves it back as follows: (*Note: I added appserv-admin.jar, appser-rt.jar, j2ee.jar/javaee.jar (both worked for me) and imqjmsra.jar in my test application lib directory as an external jar files)*
    import java.util.Properties;
    import javax.jms.Connection;
    import javax.jms.ConnectionFactory;
    import javax.jms.Destination;
    import javax.jms.MessageConsumer;
    import javax.jms.MessageProducer;
    import javax.jms.Session;
    import javax.jms.TextMessage;
    import javax.naming.Context;
    import javax.naming.InitialContext;
    import javax.naming.NamingException;
    public class Connect {
    * @param args
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    if (args.length < 1)
    throw new RuntimeException("java -cp . Connect {serverName}");
    Connect c = new Connect();
    c.testConnect(args[0]);
    public void testConnect(String serverAddress) {
    try {
    Properties props = new Properties();
    props.setProperty(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY,"com.sun.appserv.naming.S1ASCtxFactory");
    props.setProperty(Context.PROVIDER_URL,"iiop://"+serverAddress+":3700");
    InitialContext jmsContext=new InitialContext(props);
    // We need to find out what name the JMS connection factory is bound to in SunMQ
    String jmsConnectionFactoryName = "TCSQCF";
    Object obj = jmsContext.lookup(jmsConnectionFactoryName);
    if (obj instanceof javax.jms.ConnectionFactory) {
    // the JMS connection factory
    ConnectionFactory connectionFactory=(ConnectionFactory) obj;
    Connection connection=connectionFactory.createConnection();
    // do something useful with a JMS connection
    Session session = connection.createSession(false, Session.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
    connection.start();
    Destination outQueue = session.createQueue("QOUT");
    MessageProducer mp = session.createProducer(outQueue);
    TextMessage msg = session.createTextMessage("Meaage From QOUT");
    mp.send(msg);
    //                Destination inQueue = session.createQueue("QIN");
    Destination inQueue = session.createQueue("QOUT");
    MessageConsumer mc = session.createConsumer(inQueue);
    TextMessage receivedMsg = null;
    while ((receivedMsg = (TextMessage) mc.receive(1000)) != null) {
    System.out.println("Received: " + receivedMsg.toString());
    Destination outQueue2 = session.createQueue("QIN");
    MessageProducer mp2 = session.createProducer(outQueue2);
    TextMessage msg2 = session.createTextMessage("Message From QIN");
    mp2.send(msg2);
    Destination inQueue2 = session.createQueue("QIN");
    MessageConsumer mc2 = session.createConsumer(inQueue2);
    TextMessage receivedMsg2 = null;
    while ((receivedMsg2 = (TextMessage) mc2.receive(1000)) != null) {
    System.out.println("Received: " + receivedMsg2.toString());
    connection.close();
    } catch (Exception e) {
    // an error occurred, just print it out
    e.printStackTrace();
    NOW WHEN I INTEGRATE THE SAME SETTINGS INTO MY ENTERPRISE APPLICATION. I AM HAVING PROBLEM WHICH IS ADDRESSED IN THIS THREAD. IF ANYONE KNOW THE CAUSE AND SOLUTION PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT SHOULD I DO TO MAKE IT RIGHT.

  • Sun Java System Application Server installation location on windows

    Hi there...
    I'm just doing the "Your First Cup: An Introduction to the Java EE Platform" tutorial for the first time. I'm trying to add the Sun Java System Application Server in NetBeans IDE. It's asking me to select the Platform Location, and I have no idea where that is. No help instructions I've found say where it normally gets installed, and I've found now mention of it on the web.
    Can anyone tell me the location where this is supposed to be located? I HAVE installed the Java EE SDK 5 for Windows. The location it offers as a default is "C:\Program Files\glassfish-v2ur2\", but there is a red message at the bottom of the dialog that reads "Provide a valid Application Server Installation Location for 'Sun Java System App...". The Register Local Default Domain drop-down box has not options to select, either.
    I would try and search some more, but I just don't know what to search for. If anyone can offer any insight into this, I appreciate it.
    Thanks a ton!!!

    I`ve posted a shorter version of the question in the hopes of getting a timely answer. Thanks

  • File not getting Saved on Application Server

    Hello All,
    We created a file in "Automatic Payment Transactions (F110 Transaction)" and are able to save the text file on Local drive. But for our e-banking requirement we need to store this file on our application server. The configuration settings in OBPM4 are already done and now system is picking the default application server path while saving file in "Payment Medium - > DME Administration" transaction. The problem is - although the system is picking the required path of application server but file is not getting saved. The error coming is: File <path> could not be opened (Message Number: FZ231).
    We have checked for 777 authorisations (OS authorisations) for the folder.
    Please suggest that what can be done to resolve th issue.
    Regards,

    What exactly we need to check in Payment program? We are not able to save the file on application server. There is no problem while saving the same in local drive.
    Regards,

  • How to start jdk1.4.2 application server

    Hello:
    am using jdk1.4.2 on fedora core 1. I need to set up my default application server that comes with j2sdk1.4.2. could any one guide me with those steps...
    my path is eg, /shan/jdk/bin
    Thanks

    There is no "default application server" in the J2SDK - that's just plain Java. Mind you, I'm not trying to be nasty here, but since you didn't know that, don't you think your e-mail address is a bit misleading?

  • How i can change default Deployment server in Creator 2 ea 2.

    Hi
    Thank you for reading my post.
    I want to change Creator 2 ea 2 , deployment server
    I used to use centeralized deployment server . and i want to change Creator server , and set it to that server.
    How i can do this ?

    Here is what worked for me.
    changing the default application server.
    1) Verify that JSC2 is creating a WAR file in the project's dist directory.
    2) Download the Sun Java System Application Server 8.1
    3) Install the application server on another computer. E.g. 192.168.1.110
    I changed the default port from 8080 to 80 because I wanted to port forward.
    Don't know if this is required.
    4) Start the server! Browse to 192.168.1.110:80 and verify the server started.
    5) Run the admin console (192.168.1.110:4848) and manually deploy the WAR file
    If you can't do this, it wont go.
    Your browser might appear to get stuck. Wait for it to finish! Check your logs for errors.
    If you get stuck, doublecheck that the server directory isn't write-protected.
    Test with a browser 192.168.1.110:80/ProjectName
    6) Tell JSC2 about the new server
    Servers Tab -> Remote Servers -> rightclick -> Add Remote Server...
    Select the right kind of server (Sun Java System Application Server 8.1)
    Admin Host: 192.168.1.110
    Admin Port: 4848
    Username: admin or whatever
    Password: shhhhh!
    7) Configure JSC2 to deploy the project to a different server during testing.
    Projects Tab -> Right-click the project -> Properties -> Run -> select the new server.
    8) Click the little green triangle and it should deploy and start a browser to test.
    Trouble-shooting:
    - Problems will occur if you attempt to do things to fast. Don't cancel out of operations.
    - Don't modify any of you build.xml files
    - Don't compress the war file
    - Restart everything if you hit a problem
    - Don't ask me, I don't know anything about it. I just fiddled with it till it worked.
    - Turn off Netlimiter! (or any other bandwidth manager)
    - Turn off Antivirus monitoring software (stuff runs faster - security rish though)
