Since Apple says that some copy protected DVD's will not function with Disk Sharing, you may need to "clone" the DVD, using the MBP, to a flash drive, and use the flash drive to perform the installation of the software.
Another alternative is to download and install the Trial version from the Microsoft Office For Mac website, and then use the activation code provided with the DVD to activate the full version install of the trial.

The iPhone warranty is not international. If you bought it in the US you can only get service in the US. You will need to take it in to an Apple store in the US.

Problems with the videos in the gallery

Hi guys,
I am experiencing problems viewing the videos from the gallery on my Nokia N8-00. Turns out I have 24 recorded videos, but these do not appear in the gallery of images, only in the menu "Videos". Before I could see them in the gallery, but do not know what happened.
I've tried to copy the videos to the computer and then pass them back to the phone, but only appear in Videos menu, no at gallery.

Sorry for the delay. I have done the same as you and has not worked. Probably the dates of the videos have been changed ... no? but it is very rare, the videos were not edited or anything.

Yes your laptop has fallen victim to the dreaded nVidia chip issue that plagues the dv9000 series in general. The video chip can be repaired for $70-100 and there are literally dozens of ebay vendors who will do the job for you.

Problems with the video display in iTunes.

I was hooking up my PowerBook G4 to my television, so my sister could watch a television show that I had downloaded, while I worked on some stuff online. I don't know what exactly the term for how I had it connect is, but I had my laptop connected to my televisionn so that when I drag the video box off my laptop screen to the right, it appeared on the television. That was fine until I dragged the box back into my laptop's screen. I made the video display so large that the shrink/enlarge tab on the bottom right corner of the video window is off my screen under my dock bar. I've tried exiting out of iTunes and even restarting my computer but iTunes is keeping the video screen that large and I can't figure out how to shrink it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pressing F9 and then clicking on iTunes didn't do anything, but I can close iTunes anyways, that isn't the problem. It is just the seperate video display window that is the prblem . As for the other suggestion I cannot right click, so I definatly cannot right click on the window. However if you know of a way I can get it to normal or even original size with out right clicking, that would be helpful.

Hello, my name is Carlos Garcia from Chile, I have a 15'' Mackbook pro model a1226, no Series. w8******x91, everything was fine until one day when you turn off, no more picture tube, the machine turns on and even boot the OS, but does not generate images, so check this problem with Apple's solution, however in the distributor of my country told me that the guarantee of the four years ended in January 2012, and that I contact Apple Store Mexico, right now I am very disappointed by the support provided by the Apple people. Please appreciate that I can tell I do, if there is any solution for this problem or I think just buy a new machine, if so do not think I could ever trust Apple again.

Problems with the video/audio in my favourite web site

10.5.6 Leopard. Anybody familiar with democracynow.org? How do I know if I have a firewall? I don't think so, because I downloaded photoshop fine with wifi. I do get the video and audio from the democracy now window, but only for a few minutes, up to about 10, then the audio stops and the image freezes. They may resume if I click in the window or on the start arrow, but then they stop again, and eventually,for good.
The small screen (Real Video Stream) seems to be working, and the mp3 also. My Real Player and Real Player Downloader are sitting on the dock.

I ran the mp3 succesfully for 50 minutes, I have about a bit more then 1/4 of the interview left, so
I restarted it and pushed it to where it stopped, this a few times, because it always stops towards the end.
I found out from "broadcast speed test" that my Download speed is 7.55 mb/s. Now what do I do with that?

Problem with the videos

I have some videos already in my library but i try to put other videos that i have in my coimputer and it just doesn't add them. I already restarted my computer, close theprogram a couple of time and convert the video twice, what should i do???

You have to convert them to apple's standard video format: .mp4 I believe. Try using Videora iPod converter (google it) to convert your movies to the correct format.

Hi ! I have a big problem with my MacBook Pro Mid 2010 ! It may be broken or what seems to be the problem with the video drivers ? I have a built in internal Graphic 288 of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M of 512 of RAM !

It happens to turn of my monitor in different situations. Sometimes i believe i have my graphic video broken ! In my town i don't have Apple doctors so i dont risk to go to a service non authorized from apple !
For example there was a day when it turns off when a simply pinch with thumb and 3 fingers for launchbad ...and the opperating sistem it should be restart from power button ! That was when i had Mountain lion 10.7.5 update
Other situation was with photoshop cs6, cs5, cs4 30 days trial versions ...i couldn't buy any versions so i decided to test a earlier versions that can match with my sistem requirements. In all of this three situations my display had turned off after opening a image or photo or 3d graphics in photoshop...anyway sadness.
Other situation : One day i was simply relaxing surfing facebook and ...than i've just simply open an advertising link ...and on that page i was waiting to load a video that used another player than flash player of youtube. Even two seconds didn't stayed open and trust me it turned off my display once again !

I told my story to to someone who holds an MacBook Pro i5 etc. and he told me to test the new mavericks maybe it's something broken in my operating system.... and believe me after 2 days of happiness with OS X MAVERICKS , last night my computer restarted because of a problem, and 2 hours ago again....why ? i don't know ! Maybe Video RAM or maybe Memory RAM or Maybe simple conflicts between Trial Photoshop and OS X or maybe my macbook it's 2 old...or i don't know ....for how much i used this mac it should run as an mustang !    MacBook Pro i7 Mid 2010 HDD 500 , 4 GB of DDR 3 , Intel built in Graphic 288 and an NVIDIA GE FORCE 512 , 15 inch display monitor , 283 real cicle counts ( my mac was used as an iphone while charging and using battery) ...i don't know what to do ! Mid-2010 15" MacBook Pros - the bad NVIDIA GPU
If you're having frequent kernel panics with your 15" mid-2010, or intermittent screen problems, the problem is, more than likely, the faulty NVIDIA GPU found in a number of those machines.

Here's the "official" Apple take on the issue - but the very real kernel panics need not be preceded by 'Intermittent black screen or loss of video'... in fact, you might not experience any video problems at all. Although video problems can certainly be a portent of things to come…
So what can you do? Print out a copy of your kernel panic and a copy of the Knowledge Base article and take them, along with your machine, to your local Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider. The unfortunate thing is that many people have passed the “three years from date of purchase” now and Apple is not honoring the free logic board replacement for many users. Some dealers seem to be making some exceptions for those past the three year mark, but don’t count on it…

Problem with the video ofcourse

I got my ipod in the mail today and managed to be able to put music podcasts and pictures on my ipod but when i tried to drag movies to my ipod it did not let me no error message or anything so i checked the options and noticed do not update vidoes was on. So the problem is I cannot change the option because it is all greyed out what is the problem?

I have it set to manualy update music.
and i have been able to tx files diretly to the harddisk.
Podcasts work ( including video) and so do pic and music.. its just video..
It's not that i really want to play video's if i did I would have bought a device with a decent size screen. I juat hate it when things don't work..
Also why do apple make the screen out of the softest scratchest plastic ...!!! mine is a wek old always in its bag thing and has a load of scratches......

Macbook Display problem (With attached video)

Rather then describe the problem, I took a video of it. It will do this randomly until I move the screen or press down on it. Makes me think that it is more hardware related than software.

I have the exact same problem.
what exactly is the hardware problem because im out of warranty. it goes away if you adjust the screen back and forth a bit.

Hola, mi consulta es la siguiente, tengo una motherboard MSI 845 ultra y una tarjeta aceleradora MSI g44mx420 64mb tvout, regularmente cuando enciendo el PC me aparece la pantalla con un color de fondo y unas rayas, sin iconos ni puntero de mouse, lo cual no se arregla hasta que vuelvo a conectar el cable del monitor a la tarjeta y reiniciar el equipo. ¿Por que sucede esto y como puedo solucionarlo?
Hello, my consultation is the following one, I have one motherboard MSI 845 ultra ARU and acelerator card MSI g4mx420 64mb tvout, regularly when I ignite (power)the PC appears to me the screen with a color of bottom and rays, without icons nor sharpshooting of mouse, which is not fixed until I return to connect the cable of the monitor to the card and to reinitiate the equipment.

I am having problems with the videos I have purchased off itunes.

I have purched a movie off itunes and synced it to my ipad but when I go to the movie the play button above the picture for the movie doesn't work. Also the button for the chapter select doesn't work either. The weird thing is I can serch my ipad for the movie and can get the movie start from there. I just was woundering if anyone has this problem and what should i do to fix this problem.I have already reset my ipad half a dozen times and synced and and unsynced this movie but this is the only movie that is doing this.

I figured out how to fix my problem I synced the movie to my iPad and connected to iTunes on my iPad and that fixed the problem. But what's funny now is I got a message on my iPhone that my iPad is using my email address which is fine because I use the same account for both devises.
