Define status for backend purchase order in SRM7.02

Hi,
i am working in SRM 7.02 classic scenario using PI.
When the SC is converted to Backend PO, some PO XML are failed due to various reason. Instead i need to create a PO in held status.
For the same, we have settings 'Define status for Backend purchase order' in SPRO. If we maintain the information in this setting that is enough..??It will work??
1.I heard there is some enhancement need to done for the same to work ...??if it is what is the enhancement ???
2. if it is work, then all PO will be created in Held status or only error PO will be created in Held status?? remaining in released status ???
Kindly advice me ..
Thanks

As far as,  BAPI_PO_CREATE1, you need to pass
MEMORY_UNCOMPLETE = abap_true
MEMORY_COMPLETE   =  abap_false
for POHEADER, pass,
MEMORY = 'X'
MEMORYTYPE = 'H'
for POHEADERX, pass,
MEMORY = 'X'
MEMORYTYPE = 'X'
Though you will be using ESOA for this, this knowledge would help.

  • How to set up automatic payment for the purchase order

    Hi, All,
    I have one question how to set up automatically payment for the Rent Office purchase Order?
    There is the requirement from the client. They want to create one kind of purchase order for the Office Rent, then pay the fees in the certain time of every month to the vendor for the rent fees without any invoice. Whatu2019s the normal solution for this kind of purchase order? Is it ERS? Or something else?
    Please give me the details and business flow. Also please tell me how to setup in the SAP and T-code.
    Thanks in advance

    Either you can set up ERS or you can pay directly from the FI side.
    Prerequisites
    Evaluated receipt settlement must be flagged in the purchase order item.
    The vendor must be flagged as being subject to ERS in the vendor master record.
    The goods receipt must refer to a purchase order.
    Goods-receipt-based Invoice Verification must be defined for the purchase order item.
    A tax code must have been maintained in the purchase order item.
    The order price of the materials may not be an estimated price.
    If you flag a vendor as being subject to ERS, the system sets the ERS indicator as a default in each item when you create a purchase order for the vendor. You can prevent this happening for certain vendors by flagging the info record for the material and the vendor as not being subject to ERS.
    In Purchasing, you can delete the default ERS indicator in a purchase order item.
    Choose Logistics Invoice Verification ® Automatic Settlement ® Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS).
    The selection screen appears.
    You can use the following criteria to narrow down selection of the transactions to be settled:
    Company code
    Plant
    Goods receipt posting date
    Goods receipt document
    Fiscal year of the goods receipt
    Vendor
    Purchase order and order item
    You can define the selection criteria for the invoice documents by:
    Delivery
    Purchase order
    Purchase order item
    Goods receipt document
    Credit memo
    Invoice
    Currency
    Choose  Execute.
    The system issues a log for Evaluated Receipt Settlement, which displays the following:
    Settled
    In line with your selection criteria, the system displays all the order items that were settled (or if you are working in test mode, which would have been settled).
    Could not be settled
    In line with your selection criteria, the system displays all order items for which ERS is defined but could not be settled. It also lists the reasons.
    If the system reports being unable to invoice a transaction, you should exclude the transaction from ERS to avoid it being included in the log the next time ERS is run.
    Select the item and choose Exclude from ERS.
    The system also generates and possibly sends a message to inform the vendor(s) about the transaction settled, depending on the settings in Customizing.
    You can display the following environment information for the order items selected. To do this, choose Goto ®:
    Display purchase order
    Display invoice
    Display material document
    Display long text

  • FM / BAPI Inbound delivery creation for a Purchase Order without material

    Dear All,
    I have a requirement to create a Inbound Delivery for a Purchase order without material number. The Purchase Order has only Material text and no material number. • Status of a purchase order

    hi
      i want to know status of a purchase order (i.e. a PO is pendding , closed, invoice pending , complete like this).
    there is report (t.code ME2N) which gives details of PO's
    by giving INPUT to 4th SELECT-OPTIONS (tittled as SELECTION PARAMETERS), here in this many options are available .
             i searched for these options , these get stored in table T160S ,But i am not able to under how corresponding to these values program is picking all related data from other tables like EKKO,EKPO.
             how it is relating these tables.
    plz help.

    Hi sachin,
               IN PO in item details screen you will find delivery tab. In that if delivery completed is checked then it means that item is closed.In the similar way if all the items of PO are delivery completed PO can treated as closed.This info may be helpful to you.
    Reward if helpful.

  • Automatic account postings (for Intercompany Purchase order and Sales order

    Hi all,
    I need some help related to the automatic account postings (for Intercompany Purchase order and Sales order)which i can set for the follwoing scenarios. I have looked on the forms and searched alot but not able to a single solution to solve both the pupose. if one scenario works the other doesnt. Please advise.
    I have created the master data
    Customer receiving--G001
    Sales Org.--GXIN
    Distr. Channel- 01
    Division - 00
    Company code receiving - G1
    customer supplying- V001
    company code for supplying- V1
    2 different scenarios
    1- Intercompany Purchase order in which a Customer receiving- G001, gets stock replenishment NB purchase order from supplying company V1- GI  and GR of stock is done. Biling document for customer receiving G001 is created. But now I need a way to do the opposite side posting at the supplying customer -V001-- this I do using an Idoc which creates a Invoice receipt for creditor(supplying customer) V001.
    2. Sales order-- A customer X001 of company code G1 buys stock from the company code V1. the customer G001 of company code G1 bills the customer X001, but the intercompany billing doc/ invoice is created for the customer G001 by company code V1.  then now i want an automatic account posting to be created at the supplying customer V001 via idoc.
    Can this be achivable via Idoc with automatic account postings.
    Please let me know if it doesnt make sense. thanks to all in advance
    cheers
    Jasmeet

    Hi all,
    For the Sales order and automatic posting we have created an output type ZR4N- this is creating a batch input session which can be triggered to be processed autmatically.
    For the intercompany Purchase order -from Invoice we are creating a different output RD04 (sap standard) which creates invoice receipt at the vendor side.
    Rest of the settings are defined using SAP standard functionality within transaction OBCA, OBCB, OBCC, OBCD,OBCE
    thanks for viwing the post
    Cheers

  • IMG settings after creating new output type for a purchase order smartform

    Hi all,
    Do I need to make changes in IMG after creating a new output type in NACE for a purchase order smartform?
    I have customized a purchase order smartform according to the requirements and copied an existing output type and assigned the custom form name.
    When I am trying to create a purchase order to test it, I am going to the message tab for assigning the output type and if I press F4 on the output type field or if I give the copied output type there, it says output type is not defined.
    Do I need to make any changes in SPRO?
    Regards,
    Anik

    Yes. You have to add the new output type to the proper message determination schema.
    Go to the IMG and select Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Messages -> Output control -> Message determination schemas -> Define message schema for purchase order -> Maintain Message Determination Schema: Purchase Order.
    Select the proper schema, then Control Data and insert your new output type into the schema (eventually with any requirement that may be necessary... you probably want to use 101 like in case of the regular NEU message).
    This should do it.

  • Filling a characteristic with quantity of MIGO for a purchase order

    Hi everyone,
    I have the following issue.
    I have a class Z_BATCH and an assigned characteristic Z_BATCH_LENGHTS.
    My material has a UoM in "mm" and the class is assigned to it.
    What I want to do, is to automatically fill the characteristic Z_BATCH_LENGHTS according to the quantity that is entered during MIGO for a purchase order for example. I tried to define the refereence field in the characteristic definition using GOITEM-ERFMG or MSEG-ERFMG but without success.
    So my question is, how can I automatically fill the quantity into the characteristic?
    Thank you!

    Done by using an user-exit in MIGO to fill the lenghts to the characteristics.

    MM01>Enter your material->Quality view-->Tick on QM procurement->Certificate require-Mension kind of certificate req.
    like

    Q003     Test Report

    SPRO--->MM->Purchasing>Message>Output control->Message types> Define message type for Purchase Order----->Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order
    Now here select the check box corresponding to your output(message) type NEU to have print output automatically displayed & save.
    Now try to creating Purchase Order & you will have default message type NEU.
