Deleting multiple photos in Develop Module?

Trying to delete multiple photos is not working for me. Even though I select several images at once and click to delete images from disk only 1 image is deleted. Is this a glitch? GPBob

Here's how to...
1. Go to Library mode from 5 menu options on top right corner.
2. Press (G) on your keyboard for Grid view mode.
3. CTRL+mouse click to select multiple images.
4. Once you are ready to delete the photos, Press DELETE button on your keyboard or Right click on one of the selected images and choose Delete Photos option.
Note that when you are in Develop Mode and choose multiple photos from bottom row, it only deletes the one you are seeing in the main display like you are experiencing. I'm assuming you are pressing DELETE button on your keyboard to delete. However, if you Right click one of the selected images and choose Delete Photos option, you'll be able to delete all the photos you have selected.
Hope that helps.

    Dear fellow Apple users,
I have many pictures on my Camera Roll in Apple's Photos app. What's the quickest way to delete multiple photos at once?
Thus far, I know how to delete photos one by one, but that's time-consuming.
    Thank you.

No not box with arrow, that is share button.  Edit is where it shows in the pic I posted

  • In Elements 7.0, how can I delete multiple photos at the same time?

In Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0, how can I delete multiple photos at the same time?   Please be a little specific so I can follow your instructions as I'm not real smart at computers; I'm an intermediate user.  Thank you.

Shift-click the photos or Ctrl-click them to select them, then right-click one of them and choose Delete from Catalog. They will all go together.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
To delete multiple photos at once on your iPad, all you need to do is tap on Select while in the Photos app, select the photos you'd like to delete, and then tap on the trash can.

How to delete multiple photos from the updated iPhoto

1 - there is no updated iPhoto - iPhoto is still on your computer and version 9.6.1 is probably the last version - there are no updates planned to iPhoto
2 - Photos is a new photo management program built into OS X 10.10.3
3 - Assuming you are talking about Photos  select the photos and press delete - they then go to the recently deleted photos album (show recently deleted under th file menu) where they sit for 30 days and then are automatically deleted unless you manually delete them first

  • How do I delete multiple photos from library?

    Hi All
On my iphone - how do I delete multiple photos from the library without having to do 1 at a time?
    Thanks

In the album, tap on the little forward arrow in the upper right corner. From there you can tap as many photos as you'd like, and at the bottom, you'll have the options to Share, Copy, Add To, or Delete.

  • How do I delete multiple photos from the Camera Roll?

How do I delete multiple photos from camera roll without doing it one at a time?

Thanks for your posts on this - it's something I've been wondering about, too.
I do agree with Bonzo that it seems strange that there isn't a way to do it *efficiently* without having to hook the iPad to a computer.
I know there is an alternative: in other words, you're right, Lawrence - it is possible to delete multiple files at once by following your instructions (i.e. tapping on each photo once, etc.) - but if you want to delete lots of photos, it takes ages to tap on every one of them.
Does anyone else out there know of a way to delete multiple photos on the iPad/iPhone/iPod touch without having to tap on each photo separately, or having to hook up to a computer?
I'd be really grateful for any help on this. Thanks!

  • Deleting multiple photos off iphone

I know that we have the option to delete photos off iPhone after we import into iPhoto... but sometimes I want to keep some on my phone so I don't choose the delete option. Unfortuantely, I am left with having to go through each photo and erase them one by one... has anyone come up with a way to delete multiple photos off the iPhone once you've chosen not to delete them immediately after importing them? Cannot understand why this hasn't/wouldn't have come up... it seems like an obvious need. They managed to simplify the email deleting situation, why not photos?

Putting photos back on iPhone... If you want some photos back on your iPhone, what I do is email them to myself then open the email on my iPhone, a have select save the images...
If you use iPhoto for importing photos from a digital camera including from your iPhone and for storing all photos on your Mac, you can create an iPhoto album or multiple albums. Place the photos from your iPhoto library in the designated iPhoto album that you want transferred to your iPhone.
Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences, select sync photos from iPhoto.
Choose Selected Albums and then select the iPhoto albums that you want transferred to your iPhone. Select Apply followed by syncing.
If you want to transfer additional photos to your iPhone, place the photos in an iPhoto album that is selected to be transferred to your iPhone under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences followed by a sync. Or create a new iPhoto album for select photos. For any photos that you want removed from your iPhone, remove the photos from the iPhoto album that is selected to be transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync.
All photos transferred to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process will be stored in your iPhone's Photo Library, and the separate iPhoto albums selected to be transferred will also be available below.
You can view photos available in an album only by selecting the album, or all photos available on all albums by selecting Photo Library.
The same applies to iTunes Playlists for music.

  • Accessing photos in "Develop" module

    Hi,
I have important some photos into the library catalogue, but they are not showing up in the filmstrip or develop module, even when I click to select one.  I can work on it in the ibrary section, but mnot the develop section.  What do I have to do to make it appear in 'develop'?
    Thanks,
    Deborah

Have the original image files been moved or deleted since you imported them, or are they on an external drive?  If LR can't find them, it displays a "?" by the top right of the picture.

  • How do I delete multiple photos at a time on my iphone 5 without connecting to my mac or other computer? And without deleting ALL photos from my iphone?

Well, I guess my heading says it all. I am trying to delete multiple (like A LOT) of photos from my camera roll on my iphone 5 without connecting to my computer. All other instructions I've read on here do not work. (I'm not saying I read ALL instructions though) But the ones I've read, do not work.
I DO NOT want to connect to my computer to do this, so please read what I am asking! It HAS to be possible, it's just downright silly if it isn't and I'll be ****** about the 3 grand I've given to Apple in the last few months for various reasons...
Thank you in advance for any responses.

Okay. Awesome! I feel like such a dodo that was so freaking simple!
Now I have another simple person question that feels stupid too but oh well apparently my brain doesn't like to work at 5 a.m. when I am in bad pain but...
Okay, so I've deleted them from my phone manually, they are already ALL on my mac, when I plug my phone back into my mac to sync music and any New photos, will the old photos that I deleted that are on the mac, go back on the phone? Der. I feel like I already know the answer, but I'm asking anyways...
Please, thank you, and sorry in advance!

  • Photos in Develop module look different when switching to library module

Hello everyone this is my first post on adobe.  I ran into a problem today for the first time using lightroom 5.  I recently purchased lightroom 5 about 2 weeks ago and have been in love using it.  I have ran into 0 problems until today.  I uploaded some new photos and was going through them under the develop module editing the photos and what not.  When I am done editing I usually go to the library module and export them.
Today I tried to do that exact thing and ran into this issue:  the colors in the photo are changing ever so slightly when I switch to the library module and are not exporting exactly as I edited them in the develop module.
I have tried changing the contrast/clarity to see if it would remain when switching and it does.  But for some reason the yellow on the flower in the picture becomes less vibrant when seen/exported from library module.  It is very frustrating because I spend alot of time editing the photo in a develop module and every transfers but the colors it seems.  It becomes more dull and less vibrant.
It is not the photo itself.  I think it is something wrong with my lightroom?  I uninstalled and reinstalled and the same issue keeps happening.

Just to clarify. When you compare the exported image to the original inside LR do they look the same when viewed together in the Library module, and how about when both are viewed in the Develop module? Are you using a wide gamut monitor and do you also use a hardware monitor calibrator? All of these things affect how images looks in LR and some are fixable, but others are not as Web Weaver posted.
There is also another issue that can cause the Library module view and exported images to look different than they do in the Develop module:
    http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/afm8rbh6tnc31
The solution is to view the image at 1:1 (100%) view size. You can also use more conservative Sharpening settings (i.e. lower) and more aggressive Luminance Noise Reduction settings (i.e. higher), which will significantly decrease the view difference.

  • Why do I get a blue rectangle covering photo in Develop module?

I have purchased upgrade to LR6 (or is it LR CC?).  The new software downloaded, installed, updated the catalog so it seems to function normally.  When I first opened the program, it seemed ok, but soon a large blue rectangle (with an X across it) appeared over the selected photo in the Library module.  I signed out and signed back in; I restarted my computer.  The rectangle was still there, but I saw that no module was highlighted.  When I clicked on Library, the rectangle disappeared.  So, I thought I'd fixed the problem.  BUT, the rectangle persists in the Develop module (only there).  The controls do seem to work (if I click the crop rectangle, I can see it in the upper right preview window), but I can't see through the rectangle to actually edit anything.
    Any ideas?  (I run Windows 7, 64-bit)
    Gail Goldey

    Dear Jim,
I appreciate your continuing help on this.  What I've been told is that
this suggestion is a bit backwards. System is set up to use whichever card
the software calls for.  Computer has no way of knowing what LR wants or
needs; it's the software (LR) that has to choose among the available
cards.  I don't know how to tell LR to choose the NVIDIA--LR should be set
up to make that choice.  So, this sounds like a software problem.  Perhaps
you can ask how to tell LR to do this?  I'm not sure I can find this out.
    (LR5.7 didn't have this issue, so it's somewhere in the changed software;
    system is unchanged.)
The following is generic--but I hope you'll find it of some use.
I can't be alone in being frustrated by the need for expert advice whenever
Adobe does a software update or upgrade.  If my system is adequate and
up-to-date, why should it take hours and hours of my time (and yours), and
possibly some esoteric tweak, to fix a problem?
Though you have been working hard to be helpful, Adobe generally is
not--unless one wants to spend hours repeating oneself on the phone and
days waiting for a query to reach the proper level, etc.  Been there; done
that.  It isn't fun.  Even community inquiries (like how to deal with the
awful new Windows email interface) more often than not go unanswered.
Adobe seems to be trying to get individual and non-professional
photographers to increase or upgrade their involvement with Adobe software
and related products. Perhaps many such users would be happy to turn off
their GPUsas I am notbut it seems to me that Adobe needs to think more
about how ordinary people, not just sophisticated computer users, can work
with its software.  I'm pretty sure that expert users also would be happier
    with more seamless transitions.
Thanks for hearing me out.  Trying to be helpful and not just complaining.
