Delimited objects displayed in RH_STRUC_GET

Hi,
I am calling RH_STRUC_GET for a org unit ad trying to get all org units under it.
The issue is its getting even delimited org units even though I have specified today's date as begda and endda. I assumed the begda and endda were to display org units active in between this date.
Is this a bug? Has anybody encountered it before?

Yes - we see the same behaviour. I raised a ticket in OSS for it, and they claim it is 'as designed'. To me it is definetely a bug, or at best very unwanted behaviour. It really messes up the users - as the FM is used eg. when they should pick positions during hiring.
It would be good if more people would raise issues with SAP on this. Maybe some of us will get through. My experience with OSS is that the quality of the answeer is very dependent on who picks up your ticket.

GRR3 - 6PP1-001 - Object display

Hi,
when runnig report with transaction GRR3, library 6P3, report 6PP1-001 the objects are displayed in internal format (f.e. PD00001539).
Running the same report with transaction S_ALR_87013542 the objects are displayed in external format (f.e. BP/203004148).
Is it possible to change the object display in external format when running the report with transaction GRR3?

Hi
Try creating a transaction for the report. Go to SE93 and obtain help from the BASIS people. At the bottom of the screen where it says:
Name of screen field - key in the following:
D_SREP0VARI-REPORTTYPE                    RW
D_SREP0VARI-REPORT                          xxxx (REPORT GROUP NAME)
D_SREP0VARI-EXDREPORT                     BLANK
D_SREP0VARI-VARIANT                        IF REQUIRED

Hi Gloria,
I had a look at this in XI release 3.0 and received the same issue. The only way I could get this to work was to use the FormatNumber() method. This returns the value as a string, which live office represents with the trailing 0.
So if the cell value was 12345.6, then FormatNumber([my cell]; "#,##0.00") will display 12345.60. This will display correctly in Excel (except that it is justified as text) when brought in by live office.
This more of a work around than a fix, so you may want to raise a case.

Objects Display in Timeline but not in Preview

Heya,
I'm trying to get a couple of colored ovals to appear over screenshots in Captivate 5.5. If I move the Timeline bar, the objects display with the correct timing and effects. However, when I attempt any type of preview (next 5, from this, web, project), none of the objects appear. project), none of the objects appear. I would love to get some help. Thanks!

Regarding New Business Object display.

Hi All,
I have defined a new Business Object for Account. BO is working fine.
I am sending a work item to approver for his approval, where i bind this BO to work item task, Now ideally he should see this as "Associated Business Object" in the work item on UI, but it is not coming over there. I checked in the work item log, BO contains values.
In other workflows like opportunity and all, where i delegated the standard BOs, same kind of binding is there and "Associated Business Object" is coming over there.
Now i wanna know that can we display user defined BO in the "Associated Business Object" or not ?
If yes, then where can be the issue with my workflow, is there any other procedure to be follow.

yes, we can display that. Some UI configuration needs to be changed for that.

Flash Object Display in GUI HTML VIEWER

Is there a way to display html string in html viewer which contains the flash objects?

Yes, create ABAP program in which use the HTML viewer (class: cl_gui_html_viewer ) within a container.

Problem in Object Display

Hi All
Could any one pls. suggest me how to solve the below problem.
We are using one object in fotter it displays the time and date. We wnat this two option in the report one from completely right side and another one is completely left side for that we taken some space in between the two texts but its not coming in the workspace (HTML View & PDF view). But If we export this into powerpoint we are able to see the exact format. But we want this same format in Excel alos(By exporting the report from workspace to Excel by using Export Option in workspace)
Can any one Guide me on this its very Urgent issue

Hi,
Have you selected both the horizontal and vertical settings in the Position Object on Report section?
When I set one to Bottom and Left and the second to Bottom and Right then they display on the same row in export to MS Excel. If you do not set both to be Bottom in addition to the left / right setting then they could well appear in different rows in excel.
I am using version 9.3.1 of Hyperion and MS Excel 2003.

Heavyweight object display problems

I am currently having a problem when displaying a heavyweight object over the top of a lightweight object. When the heavyweight object is made visible it redraws itself, and in the process of doing so leaves what was behind it gray so it creates a gray flash every time the heavyweight object is displayed or removed. The heavyweight object is a QuickTime QTCanvas. Does anyone know how I might get around this? QuickTime for Java also provides a lightweight object called JQTCanvas, but the performance is to slow that it causes sync problems with the art and audio.

Try overriding your QTCanvas's update(Graphics) method so that it simply calls paint(Graphics) (i.e., without clearing the background).

Since sections always seems to be an array in your hierarchy,
exactly what
label did you think you were going to see by specifying that
field as a
labelField?

Fade out when object displaying for remainder of slide

I have noticed that when you set an object to display for the rest of a slide, that the transition effect still stays at the default of fade in and out. This causes the image to fade out at the last half second of the timeline. Is there a way to set items to not fade out if displaying for the rest of a slide without having to either modify the defaults of every object or touch each ones transitions?
Seems like there is either a preference I am missing or the beginning of a great feature to add

0Orgunit(hierarchy) and authorization object display getcell error in Webi

Hello,
         We are facing with GetCellData error in WebI to SAP BEx Query.
         This works perfectly fine in Bex for a particular test user who has access to particular org unit value.
         But in Webi we are getting this Getcelldata error.
        Tried all the options and message as recommended in sdn group.
        mdxtest returns no value.
        looked at all below messages but no luck.

Air for Android video object displays on orientation change

I have an Android app that plays a video using the normal video object, ie:

When the video is playing if there is an orientation change, before the screen adjusts, you can see a full screen version of the video behind the 640x480 in the area of the screen that adjusted yet. So if the video is in portrait and the orientation is switched to landscape, in the right befow the stage adjusts to landcape you can see the right part of a fullscreen version of the video.
Also when I remove the video object you can still see the last frame of the video in that area.

Please log a bug at bugbase.adobe.com with a sample app(sources,swf,app-xml and assets) with which bug can be reproduced at our end. Also please mention the devices with OS version and the AIR build version on which bug is reproducible. A video demonstarting the bug would be really helpful for us.
Also please mention the bug number here on forum so that we can look into this issue.

Smart Object Display Issue CS5 - Anyone else?

I created a new PS document (CS5 Mac latest version) I have a few layers I grouped and made a smart object for ease of updating and reuse. Problem is my smart object just randomly disappear or even sppear to be "erased" by other layters if i move them around. They are still there and through some random acts I can them to reappear.
I am not even sure if I can explain it right as it is just odd...
Anyone else having dusplay issues with Smrt Objects in CS5?
I am running on a new iMac in 64bit mode.

Try turning Open GL off and relaunching the document. This is most likely something to do with your Graphics card not being able to keep up with Photoshops stringent requirements.

Graphic Object displays in T

Hi,
I have transported one graphic Object to TST system and entry of that Graphic Object is in T880 table under TDNAME (field) in DEV system, but it doesn't reflect the same in TST system, though that Graphic Object is transported and its showing in SE78 .
So how to make visible in T880 table also.

T880? That is a company code table and nothing to do with graphics?

No objects displayed when importing metadata

Oracle BI 11g 11.1.1.6.0
The BI server is installed on Redhat Enterprise Linux 5.
The Client Tools are installed on Windows 7.
I'm trying to import metadata from the warehouse into the repository.
I specify the connection type as OCI10/11g, specify the data source name etc, and it connects ok (as indicated by the fact that it goes onto the next screen without a connection failure).
However, in the screen which says "Select the metadata objects you want to import", there are no objects shown in the "Data source view".
Any ideas why not?
I know the connection pool/ data source is ok because I can update the row counts on some of the existing objects I already have in the repository, and these are correctly updated with the exact number of rows in the warehouse.
Is it something to do woth the fact that the BI server is on Linux and the client toosl are on Windows? The last time I used the tool it all worked ok - but then both the Server and the client tools were installed on Windows.

OK - I have a solution!
I've worked through this with Oracle Support, and the official answer is that there are some files missing from the Oracle BI Client install, on Windows.
There's no fix for this as yet, but you can do the following as a workaround:
1. Copy the Windows <middleware_home>\Oracle_BI1\bin folder from the Oracle BI Server Windows install to the BI Client's oraclebi\orahome location.
2. Add this bin folder in the PATH variable
3. Restart the Administration Tool
Make sure you match 32-bit or 64-bit, as necessary.
Obviously, this requires you to install the Oracle BI Server on Windows somewhere, so you can copy these files across.
When I did the above, the list of database objects available to import suddenly appeared!
