Delivery split through VLSP along with JIT Calls with AW Partner profiles

Hi SAP SD/LE Guru's,
I have one critical issue to resolve immediately in my implementation of SAP 4.6C system in multinational automotive industry. It's in the area of Delivery split along with AW - Duns number partner profile and JIT calls.
Here is the scenario:
1. JIT(Just In time) calls will be created through EDI based on the ship-to, PO Nos, Duns number.
2. The requirements will be updated in Scheduling Agreements JIT Delivery schedule.
3. Picking is done based on the requirements.
4. Packing, Deliveries and Handling units are created: Note: Each handling unit is linked to one JIT Call.
5. Based on the Shipments, Deliveries needs to be split into further sub-deliveries.
Ex. One Delivery has two HU's. This needs to be split into another delivery so that one HU need to be detached from original and attach to new delivery. At the same time corresponding JIT call also need to be detached from original delivery and attach to new delivery. This can be done through VLSP : Subsequent split(Outbound delivery). Split profile: 003 - split based on Quantities.
The issue: When executing delivery split using VLSP and split profile: 003, the system is terminating and giving short dump.
The error analysis says that AW - Duns number is creating the problem. The short dump occurs in SAPLV05I in Function module: SD_PARTNER_UPDATE.
There is an SAP note: 154766 related to this problem says that Partner header should be used only once in copy control.
But in customization of copy control from Sales order to Delivery, there is no VBPA Partner header.
I appreciate if you can provide solution for delivery split and resolve this short dump issue.

In reference to this change in the Custom Reports... Better experience when exporting data - to prevent customer confusion when exporting data from Mac computers, we have removed the export to excel option and exporting in CSV format by default.
What is the customer confusion we are trying to stop here? I've got even more confused customers at the moment because all of a sudden they can't find the export to excel option but know it exists if they log in on a PC?

Function Module to create Delivery with JIT Calls

Hi SAP Guru's,
We are working on SAP 4.6C version.
I am looking for a function module to create delivery with JIT Calls.
We are currently using the SAP standard function module "SHP_VL10_DELIVERY_CREATE" to create Delivery with JIT Calls. Each JIT Calls has apx 60-80 materials in it and each material refers to a unique Scheduling Agreement. This function module is taking very long time in production server to create delivery, it does not take much time in dev or quality server.
We have JITV setting profile (For Sold To Party and Partner Description Profile) set as RELACE (to summarize the line items in JIT Call).
Is there another function module that we can use to create delivery with JIT Calls?

Using a JIT call with stock transport scheduling agreement

Hi,
I have a requirement to send forecast schedules for a stock transport scheduling agreement from procuring plant to producing plant. Production would be done in producing plant against these forecast schedules. Producing plant would only ship against a JIT call (pull trigger) from procuring plant and not against a forecast schedule line. Is there a way in standard SAP to achieve this?

I don't think so.
You need to transfer the production forecast as demand plan in the production plant. Have a MTS planning strategy (like 10), then manufacturing is triggered by this demand plan, and goods are stocked in the production plant, waiting for the pull call from the sales plant.
Don't forget to take care of the consumption of demand with STO (I think there's a note on this).

Delivery Split through ME2O

The subcontract order creates multiple deliveries instead of one delivery through ME2O. The PO has 3 to 4 sub components for the main material. The header data are all the same but still multiple deliveries are created. I have glanced through the SAP notes and found details related to partner data mismatch, delivery date backlog but these didnt help.
If anyone has come through such scenarios let me know.

Probably the components have different planned delivery dates.
even you cannot see this in ME2O.

Error in summarized JIT call

Hi all,
while making the bin empty we are getting an Error message as belo
Message says that "container incorrect "
and i further found the message as belo
No messages records will be found for a summarized JIT call
Diagnosis
     You have selected a process that generates summarized JIT calls on
     setting the kanbans to EMPTY. The release of these JIT calls is
     controlled via message management.
     The system cannot generate a message for a sumarized JIT call With the
     current settings in message management. However, the release of such a
     message is an essential element in the process of summarized JIT calls.
     Therefore kanbans that you set to EMPTY and for which the system cannot
     generate a message to a JIT call, do not receive the status EMPTY but
     ERROR. The system does not then generate a summarized JIT call.
Procedure
     Maintain message management in such a way that a message record is
     created when a JIT call is generated.
     You can check the current settings in message management in the message
     determination analysis.
so please suggest me how can i maintain message management

Did you ever get resolution for this? I have gotten this to work in our development system after a couple months of trial and error. I set up output type LPJ1 in trans OJIN3. I only set up printing, not EDI.

Form            PAB_JIT_CALL
I found these by accident. I couldn't find any SAP documentation. Anyway, you have to then set up the output condition record in PJNK1. You have to have at least the VN partner in the conddddition record.
I put together a WOrd doc that kind of explains what the tasks the users have to do to process summarized Kanban JIT. Let me know if you want me to e-mail it to you.

IDOC is Getting Fail with - 56 Status EDI Partner profile not available

Check the following :
in We 02 which partner number is displayed just in the posted IDOC -> 2nd coloum in the IDOC list .and verify if the
same you have in Partner profile. Actually this details comes from ECC business system's logical system name which you give in SLD.
in we 19 - take the error iDOC numner and open the IDOC ->click on the first line -> check entries as you mentioned
above sender port should be PI port not empty.you need to check the partner profiles properly
follow these steps
1. create a RFC destination of tyoe H for Pi system- 2. create a Port and assigen the RFC destination to it
3 create logical system for PI BD54 PICLNT001 say , 4 with the same name create a partner profile in We20
    in parter profile maintain the inbbound message parameters and add the PI port as receiver port in it .Give the basic type also .
now
for sender details in ur case PI : u have port (defined in PI IDX1),patner number (LS defined in ECC PICLNT001), parter type LS.
for receiver you have port defined (as above), partner number the logical system for ECC system.
in we 19 ,, edit the control record as above and go to the tab inbound processing and test the internal posting
it should work fine. in the adapte specific attribuet for receiver ECC system , maitain the same LS name , if any wrong entry is
there then change the LS in sld to poing to correct LS/

VLSP Delivery Split with Serial Number assigned

Hi Gurus,
I have a doubt regarding to Delivery Split that have serial number assigned in the delivery. Do you know if SAP standard through configuratioon, exits etc is possible to split a delivery using VLSP t-code?
I have configured and tried testing but the following error message is shown, is it anything missing or correct SAP does not allow to split that delivery.
"2 serial numbers are assigned to item(s) 80000261 000010 - no split
possible. 0000 -> 0080000261
Message no. LEDSP016"
Any suggestion to solve this, either via development, config, exits etc are very much appreciated.

Hi Vini,
This error is correct, and there is no way to split this delivery via VLSP. You will have to do it manually.
Let me explain the reason: If there are many serial numbers for a delivery item, and you want to split the item, the problem that the system faces is: which serial number to put in which new delivery item??? The system can never decide this by itself. So it throws this error.

Delivery Split from multiple sales order with signle ship to party

Dear All,
I have multiple sales oreder with different Sold to party and single Ship to Party.
I want to combine all sales order into a single delivery but here deliver split due to different sold to party which I have checked through report ZLE_ANALYZE_DELIVERY_SPLIT.
Can any body suggest me, whether i can write any copy control routine so that it will stop in splitting delivery.
Please suggest if any other way of possibility.

All partners which stand in the partner schema of the delivery and which are copied from the preceding document are part of split criteria. The only mandatory partner of the outbound delivery however is the ship-to party.
You can delete the sold-to party from the partner schema for deliveries with order reference and it is then no included in splitting criteria.
Furthermore you can control split criteria in copy control routines -> field ZUKRL is used for this purpose. You can check standard routine FV50C001 for that.
Your Z* code means that you have applied custom logic to define split criteria. But most probably it is called by copy control routines and the mechanism should be the same.

Subsequent delivery split - VLSP

Hi,
I have a scenario where deliveries are created with huge quantities, let's say 1000 tons. Since 1000 tons won't fit in a truck I tried to use transaction VLSP (subsequent delivery split) in order to divide the original quantity in smaller ones. For example, I would like to split 1000 tons in 50 deliveries of 20 tons each one, but I can't do it in a few commands (I have to assign a number in the result field and a quantity in the quantity field, click the u201Csimulateu201D button, assign another number in the result field and another quantity and so on). I think there must be a better way to do this but I don't know how.
Does anyone have any sugestion?

In the table LIPS and into the field LIPS-VGBEL enter the sales sdocument number and execute it will return with the two deliveries .
Else you can also check in the document flow table VBFA

Delivery split with different delivery types

Hi,
Ive got the following problem with delivery split:
In my order (type ZTA) I have two items with two different item categories (for example TA1 and TA2). For these two items two different deliveries with two different delivery types (for example item TA1 in LF1 and TA2 in LF2) should be created. For this I implemented the needed copy control and in the customizing of the order type ZTA I maintained LF1 as a default delivery type. When I deliver the order manually via Transaction VL01N, I have no problem, because the system delivers first the item which can be delivered with delivery type LF1. Then I have to start VL01N again, predefine LF2 as delivery type and then the other item will be delivered with LF2. But this doesnt work in the Batch Collective Processing with VL04, VL10A or even VL10Batch. The system cant deliver the order. And in none of these mentioned transactions I have the possibility to predefine a delivery type. I tried also a routine in the copy control on item category level where I want to switch to a different delivery type in case of the second item category. But it didnt work. And I couldnt find any other appropriate exit how to influence the delivery type on base of the item category. What cant be changed is probably that I will always have to deliver this order two times because the system wont be able to split the order in one collective processing and create two deliveries at once. That wouldnt be a big problem if I could predefine the delivery type for the second collective processing in order to get the second item delivered.
Is there anybody who can help me?

Subsequent outbound delivery split with serial numbers

Hi,
I have a question about subsequent outbound delivery split with already assigned serial numbers.
Case:
First delivery is created and serial numbers are assigned. Now we have to do a subsequent delivery split for that delivery. In SAP standard, it's not possible to do a subsequent delivery split if serial numbers are already assigned.
Does anyone know how we can handle this?

Subcontracting Delivery (LB) split through ME2O

Hi Folks,
When I try to delivery multiple materials from the same PO through ME2O, they get split into multiple deliveries. Lets say I have selected about 10 materials in one transaction, I see that 3 materials go into one delivery, 2 each go into two seperate deliveries while the rest into individual deliveries. This way I now have about 6 deliveries for a single PO.
I want to understand how this split is working and how to avoid?

Which requirement date are you referring to .
I will reiterate that ship to party , schedule line , shipping point are same . but still delivery split has happened while creating delivery in ME2O.

Sorry, iOS will pause the music playback when you are on the phone call. You can set iOS to use bluetooth for your audo playback on your music app, and select the earpods for the phone app, but as soon as you answer the phone call, iOS will pause the music playback. This is a core OS feature, so you will not find any certified iOS app that will do what you want.
As a side note, please use extra caution when using your ear pods while driving. It is not safe as you may not hear emergency vehicles, car horns, railroad crossing bells, etc., and it is illegal in many states (in the US).

Possible to make calls with Google Voice account through iChat?

I have a Google Voice account (have for a while now), which allows me to make calls through VOIP. I've recently lost phone service and have noticed that an option when making calls in Google Voice is through Google Chat.
Now, I can never get Google Chat to work on my Macbook, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get it to work with iChat.
I have signed into my Google account through iChat, but when I make calls in Google Voice and I select to call through Google Chat, it says "Calling You" like it would if I were using my phone as the proxy, but it doesn't do anything.

I think I figured out how I want to do this.
For others in similar situations (this is assuming you HAVE a Google Voice account, which they don't give out anymore, AFAIK), go to http://www.google.com/talk/ and download the plug-in on the left. Install it, then open up your gmail in browser. On the left side, there will be a section that can let you make calls directly from your computer. SUCCESS!!
