Deploying to JBoss - Method not found exception
Hi,
I'm using JDev 10.1.3.0 and trying to deploy a small test application to JBoss 4.0.4. There is a search page with a button binded to the executeWithParams method of a VO which is displayed in a read-only table.
The application runs ok on the embedded OC4J but it doesn't when deployed to the JBoss AS. The problem is that when I click the button a MethodNotFoundException occurs. Here is the stacktrace from the JBoss server log:

Did you install the ADF Runtime libraries on the
JBoss instance?Yes. I suspected it could be that but I checked it and JDev says that the version installed on the server is the same as the one the installer is about to install.
Did you follow the ADF Developer Guide deployment

Method Not Found Exception - createinstance

I am new to ADF. I add the Iterator to the executables and add the action "createInstance" onto the page data binding definition at the Method call in the unbounded task flow (adf-config.xml). However, everytime, when the flow is upto the method call, it will throw the exception "javax.el.MethodNotFoundException: Method not found: view_adfc_config__methodCall1PageDef.CreateInsert()". I saw the createinsert in the Page data binding definition xml.

the method call activity would need to have a PageDef file with this method defined. It is not sufficient to have the method defined in the Pagedef file of a view.

Getting exception on javax.net.ssl.SSLsession.getPeerCertificates method not found.
The exception is being thrown from sun.net.www.protocol.https.HttpsClient.b
Project built with JBuilder version 8.
Using Jakarta Tomcat 4.0.4 and J2sdk1.4.0_01
JBuilder does not show the getPeerCertificates method either.
Any idea where the incompatiblity with javax is coming from, and how I might remedy this?

Exception: Method not found: 'SAPbobsCOM.Document_SpecialLines...........
I am getting this exception when I'm adding a Sales Order with the DI API:
Method not found: 'SAPbobsCOM.Document_SpecialLines SAPbobsCOM.IDocuments.get_SpecialLines()'
I am not using this interface in any of my code so I'm not understanding from where this error is coming, the same code works well with other companies, I have this problem only with 1 of my clients.

Please do remember to check the DI version and check if it matches the B1 version.
Also try removing the folder "SM_OBD_DLL" which stores the temporary DI files.
If it does not help, please let us know the exact B1 version and the DI version and also the code with which you are able to reproduce the issue.

File not found exception....in jboss
how to access a .properties file in jboss web application....as when running the jsp code from jboss which in turn invokes the java class file which is using the .properties file we get the file not found exception with respect to the properties file though it is not posing any exceptions while executing the java code from the command line..please feel free to provide any useful answers.

java file that contains the processing logic...Yes, and given all I know about good application design, this doesn't sound like something a JSP should be doing.
absolutely fine on command line no hassels....An application server is not a command-line environment. It imposes a huge bunch of restrictions and implications.

In summary, the system cannot find the files server.1.log, security.1.log, database.1.log and applications.1.log. I tried manually adding these files (I created them on my computer and left them empty) on the path written, but it did not work, for some reason they are deleted.

Any ideas?Nothing really seemed to work when trying to solve this problem, just suddenly it stopped appearing. It might have been our installation of SPS 15, since it was around that time that the error went away.

I created simple app in ADF11g production version.this is working fine in Jdev IDE.
In my application two pages are there.in first page just ADF ROF is there.there youcan see the rows in a dept table thru navigation contrlos.and a submit button to navigate to next page.in second page ,i have createinsert button,delete,commit,rollback buttons.and abutton to navigate to first page.
I deployed the EAR successfully to Extervnal WLS10.3while testing it from Browser,
First i got first row in my table along with Navigation contrlos and submit button of first page in the browser.when i am clicking on next button(to move to next row) it is giving the following error in information box.
Method not found: Next.execute(javax.faces.event.ActionEvent).
And the WLS server domain error log is:

now my problem solved .just i created one more application newly and deployed it on External WLS.
Now i am able to see all the rows in my DEPT table in my first page of app thru navigation contrlos.
In the same way i am able to see all rows in second page also.and also able to edit the rows thru commit,delete buttons.and able to insert the rows also in second page.
But the submit button to go from page1 to page2 is not working.and also the submit button from page 2 to page1 not working.

Why i get servlet exception/login servlet not found exception with .ear ?
I am able to deploy my war and after that generating the ear from that. both works fine in local system.
But when i run (Jboss as service[Java Service Wrapper]) it takes war without any problem.But with ear file i am getting servlet not found exception.I can't understand where this problem is coming from.
Even if i take my JSPWIki ear which is running well in production server, this also gives same error.
One more thing, the files, what i am running well in local system i.e. war and ear working fine. (can't test in production server so testing in same kind of testing server) there also getting login servlet not found exception. Even in same location other files which are deployed are working fine.out of 4 at least one is working fine.
I don't undersatnd where this whole problem is .
Please guiide me where sholud i concentrate to solve this problem.

I tried now to use the program Dependency Walker on this dll file and it found error/s:

It happen only when using/detecting Direct3D 11 . So far only in Direct3D 11, When i use it with a game that run Direct3D 9 it's working fine.

In this case it's the registry that can't find the stub class.
The stub class needs to be in the CLASSPATH of (i) the Registry and (ii) the client as well. Ditto the remote interface; ditto any application classes it refers to, and so on until closure.
The easiest way to achieve (i) is to start it in the server's JVM, with LocateRegistry.createRegistry(). -

I have seen your two posts and there are something you need to notice:
Where the ClassNotFound exception you got? From deployment tool or
application server kjs process?
Of course, you need not to add supporting classes to each ejb jars or ears.
1. If you use deployment tool to package your application, I'm sure you'll
fail to resovle your classes without supporting classes added to jars.
Please select Edit->Preference,in Classpath entry, enter the supporting
classes(packaged to jar files) location. This should work.
2. After deploy to ias, please edit the registry using kregedit which you
described in your posts.

Java applet class not found exception for check scan
I am getting a class not found exception when trying to scan a check into a banking website. The application uses Java and the exception error has the name "com.epaysol.checkscanAppletV2" in the message. I have the latest Firefox and the latest Java installed. I tried going to an earlier version of Firefox and of Java where this app worked in the past and it does not work now in the earlier versions either. So I am now back to the latest version of everything.
Try to clear the Java cache:

Control Panel > Java > General tab > "Temporary Internet Files" > Settings > Delete Files

Method not found when displaying report in viewer CR Basic for VS 2008
I searched and couldn't find anything regarding this. When I try to display a report in the CrystalReportViewer, I get the following error message:
method not found: 'Void CrystalDecisions.Shared.PageRender.set_ExceptionWindowTitle(System.String)'
If I call PrintToPrinter for the report, it prints exactly as expected with no errors. The report viewer control is on a separate generic form (since I have many different reports) and the report is passed to that form after it has been generated.
I can't find any information regarding this error either on these support forums, or anywhere else on the internet. I've tried installing the latest service pack and also removing and re-adding teh crystal reports references to my project without any change.

I tried to do this on another developer's machine (who also has Visual Studio 2008 Professional), which resulted in this error when trying to load the ReportViewer (sorry for the long text). It mentions something about redirecting to version 12 of crystal reports in the error message, which is strange because my project references 10.5, and I don't have crystal reports 12, which as I understand is the full retail version of Crystal reports 2008. Any ideas?

Class not found exception for the startup class defined.
iam using weblogic server 10 and bea jrockit 1.5.0.12.
i have created a startup class in the admin console for a web project and i have deployed the war file using the console in a user defined domains, user project directory.
when i start the server, iam getting class not found exception for the startup class.
But, the startup class is available in the web archive (war). how should we add the classes and jars in the war to the classpath in setDomainEnv.sh or is there any other setting available in the console to enable this.Hello Julius,
yes sure, we can move this post to the NW admin forum. I have already posted similar thread on sun forums. I was hoping that someone from SAP SDN already tackled this problem and if not someone specialized in J2EE Engine could troubleshoot me from the class problem I'm getting. I don't know if it's specific from the agent or if this ClassNotFound is a general SAP J2EE Engine error relating to a library not correclty defined.

XML-22043: (Error) Extension function error: Method not found 'getDtformat'
Hi,
We are using a custom made function for formatting date in the XSL transformation. This jar file has been kept under the domain_name/lib folder, and it is working as expected in our Windows environment. However when I tried to deploy it in Linux environment, it is giving the error XML-22043: (Error) Extension function error: Method not found 'getDtformat' (Full stack trace attached below)
