Details needed for installing Information Broadcasting

Hi,
Our customer is interested in installing the Information Broadcasting feature in their BW system. The BW version they have is SAP BW 3.5, data is fetched from different Legacy systems into the BW systems. No R3 is involved.
We are in the process of preparing the Requirement documents for installing the Information Broadcasting. What are all the information do we need to get from the customer? What are all the questions do we need to ask them?

I need your help to set up Bex Broadcasting. We have a new implementation of BI 7 version year ago, I'm a BI developer and we don't have a team on BI, where as we have a team on ECC. If I want anything in BI, I need to give all specifications to my administartor who doesn't have much knowledge on BI.
My problem is I can able to broadcast reports from BI backend, but not from Bex Analyser. When I open Workbook in Bex Analyser, I can able to see enabled Bex broadcasting option in Context Menu from tools icon. But when I click on it nothing is happening. We don't have portal, I need to broadcast reports from Bex Analyzer.
Would you please assist me to know all required components needed to get Bex Broadcaster via Bex analyser. I need to assist my system admin to get this.
We are on BI Netweaver 2004s.
SAP GUI for Windows:
Release - 710 Final release
Patch level - 5
Recently upgraded Bex Analyser:

Estimate for Implementing Information Broadcasting

Our customer is interested in installing the Information Broadcasting feature in their BW system. The BW version they have is SAP BW 3.5, data is fetched from different Legacy systems into the BW systems. No R3 is involved.
We have also got the requirements from the Client. They are now asking for an estimate to implement Broadcaster in their system. They need the reports to be sent to their E-mail ID's. I know there are steps like Installing Precalc server, adding Reciepient ID's, adding Reports, Time of execution are all involved in the Procedure but i am not sure about the time taken for this installments. It would be great if somebody provide me the approximate Estimate(Time taken for each step) for all these & anything if i have missed for.

To configure Basis activity will come into picture.Be coz you will not be authorizations for relevant T-Codes for BEx broadcasting.
Like :
You need to configure the settings in SCOT T-Code some other seetings.BI role is very less in configuring BEx broadcasting.
So check with bases team how much time required for complete the Procees ( Check the steps for Installing BEx Broadcasting mentined by Marasa Naidu)

Many thanks for your answer, i use windows 8.1! I have found the problems: For install the news version the install need the old installer (but i delete all installer, cause they use a lot place on hard drive (SSD)).
I have desinstall the whole Adobe and réinstalled it, i have save the whole installer on a external disk. So when the installer asked the old installer i indicate to programm my external disk ans all works good now.

to see if Windows can play well with the Retina display.
If those wise people say it does not, consider the entry level non-Retina 13-inch MBP. It comes with a 500GB conventional hard drive with the option of a 1TB drive, still has a DVD drive, and you can upgrade RAM yourself--it's a ten-minute job. Another plus is that model seems to have very few reports of mechanical trouble in these forums.
However, if all you want to run is Win, I cast my vote with Esquared: consider a Windows laptop. You can get a 17-ich i7 for much less than any Mac notebook.

BASIS Settings for Enabling Information Broadcasting in BW 7.0

What BASIS settings should I enable for Information Broadcast in BW 7.0. Email settings work fine in SCOT. When developer goes to Publish-> Bex Broadcaster, it does nothing. It should ideally pull IE. In Dev, it works fine but in QA it fails.

Post iLife 08 install issue with iTunes, need details please for install

Like others in this discussion area after installing iLife '08 I received the following message after I then tried to open iTunes...
"This copy of iTunes is corrupt or is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes."
This problem occurred on the family machine, a family with two teenagers with iPods. Get my drift? Lots of music we don't want to risk losing. Shortly after this problem arose I was in the local Apple Store and was advised as to best perform the recommended installation. To avoid losing the music the guy said to drag the music file over to my external drive, install the latest iTunes and then drag the music back.
Questions;
Is my memory correct, was it the music folder?, or perhaps the library I want to drag?
What about the Artwork and/or Mobile Apps folders?
I guess I need to do this for each user correct?

I'm having the same problem. I did notice on the install disk when I went to re-install it that it said 0 KB for iTunes on the install disk. I think that the install disk is the problem. Have you had any results from all this.

Details needed for using two hard drives with one iTunes library

I posted this under the iTunes section but now that I think of it, it's more of an Apple TV question since I'm only concerned about how it affects my 2 ATVs.
I have a MacMini(G4) that acts as a media server for our 2 ATVs. I use one library on the Mini which has been using an external 750GB drive. However, I'm at nearly 95% capacity now and want to invest in another external drive and use both. So the question I posted on the iTunes section was...
"With far too much content in iTunes (mostly for the Apple TVs) and after reading numerous posts about using external hard drives with iTunes I'm convinced that using two external drives is my best solution.
However, I did want to understand a bit more about the details of how iTunes will manage or at least keep track of, the media. Specifically, I'm thinking of the case were I add a movie to iTunes library (of course it will not copy the file into the iTunes folder).
What will occur if I later change any of the tags for the movie (e.g., name, genre, year, etc.). Will iTunes update this information and then update the Apple TVs once they resync with the iTunes library?"
So for the very knowledgeable folks here on the ATV section, what exactly does iTunes do in this case? Will my genres be updated correctly if I change something even though the content is not copied to the iTunes folder?

If you want to use two external drives to store your itunes content, there are a couple of ways you could go about it.
You could choose to have just movies (for example) on one HDD and everything else on the other. You could further choose to have your itunes music folder on one HDD and have all content copied to it by default. When it comes to movies (in this example) you can place these on your second HDD and add them to itunes by using OPT-drag, which will temporarily disable itunes from copying the file to your itunes library.
You could also entirely disable disable itunes copying files to your itunes music folder from the itunes preferences and manually manage all your content.
Personally I'd just buy a 2 TB (for example) drive and ebay your old drive once you have moved everything from it to your new one.

Do not use this class. It's an old class from career portal and it's obsolete.
Take a look at CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE_PREVIEW_BL. This class just pics up all data from the candidate's profile. Bu you can see here the infotype wrapper you can use in order to maintain infotypes.
Unfortunately you have no other choise, if your old system is a non-SAP system.

Where do I get detailed instruction for installing 5 discs of a comb. P/shop & Pr. Elements 10 pack?

* I have purchased a combined Photoshop Elements 10 & Premiere Elements 10 pack (5 discs but they do not say which is what).
* I installed the 1st disc on my Dell Studio 1555 (with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) as the Photoshop Elements 10 disc 1 - and entered the serial no. which it accepted. I finished the installation (it did not ask for the 2nd disc to be inserted to continue installation).
* Then I tried to install the 2nd disc but it asks me to remove the 1st disc installation including the serial no. How do I progress from here now? I intend to install all 5 discs in this computer.
Can someone please help? Kindly take into account my specific case and tell me the way forward.

To answer your question, I am not quite there yet (only because I have not tried it yet but I hope to do so now).
I have now installed pse 10 from disc 1 and pre 10 from disc 2 as well as disc 4 for contents (windows) onto my Dell Studio laptop (have'nt tried them yet though).
Now I wish to deactivate both the softwares on this laptop and install these onto my Dell Vostro laptop and imac.
This time I intend to install both pse 10 (32 bit) and pre 10 (64 bit) from disc 2 (I understand that - please correct me if I am wrong - that disc 2 contains just these two softwares) onto the Dell Vostro laptop which has Windows 7 Pro (64 bit). Then of course I install disc 4 for contents. I hope it will go ok.
To deactivate these on my first laptop I understand that I shall have to launch each program, click 'new project' and give a name, click 'help' in the top menu on the editor screen and then click 'deactivate'. This is what you had described to me earlier for pre 10, but is this also true for pse 10?
