  • Excise Duty (IS-OIL) - Invoice verification and accounting ED

    Hello experts,
I have a case in my importation process with excise duty (IS-OIL). I have the following scenario: Purchasing Ed free material and receive it in ED paid Storage Location. So I use Handling type 00 and Valuation type TAX in the PO excise duty item data. I woul like to kwon Which is the standard process for the invoice verification of the excise duty cost when the handling type is 00 and the valuation type TAX?. And How can I do the invoice verification (MIRO) if there is not a specific line in the purchase order history for the excise duty cost?
I have another case in the accounting of movement type 301 (transfer posting between 2 plants). The accounting posting is the following:
    Examle:
    Account                       Transaction
    1. STOCK FUEL          S                    BSX (Stock account)
    2. STOCK FUEL            H             BSX (Stock account)
    3. STOCK EXCISE DUTY     S             SVO (ED Account)
    4. EXCISE DUTY FUEL           H             ZZP (ED Account)
The problem is that the 4th account must be STOCK EXCISE DUTY ACCOUNT from SVO transaction.
I would be grateful if someone could help me with these cases.
    Thank in advance.

    Dear Prashant,
Thanks for reply, but i checked my excise cond types, in all conditions, cond cat is blank & cond class 'A' is maintained i.e. Discount & Surcharge.
My problem is that, my excise value is not got posted in net receivable value in accounts. This problem arise, when we make sales order, Net Value field doesn't pick excise there & while invoicing, it post only the base value & rounding off adjustments at header level. I don't know, from where this Net Value field in sales order is picking the value but my problem will solve if my grand total value(base valueexciseedu cess+higher edu cess) will pass to Net Value field while making sales order. Kindly help.

  • How to calculate excise values in case of "No Bond"

    Dear All,
For Export scenario, BED, ECESS and HrECESS  are calculated as "Statistical" condition types.
So it will not hit the accounts.
But in case of "No Bond" export type, Excise values should hit the accounts.
How to do the configuration for this. Because, we already defined excise related condition types as "Statistical".
    How to manage this situation.
    Please give some suggestions.
    Regards,
    Mullairaja

    Hi
Even if you select your export type as NO Bond and in your pricing procedure the excise related conditions are statistical even then in excise invoice will generate the accounting document.

  • Batch Split in OBD & billed for the entire Quantity .RG1  register does not update the excise values

    Hi All,
I am new here . We have batch split in Delivery and 601 happens for the individual batches and billing we bill for the entire quantity . Hence the RG1 does not update the excise values for the batches and it is showing as zero (upon extraction in J2I6). Upon research through the program the latest note which i presume is patched
The latest note is N158234 which does not show in the program but seems have been patched considering we are using the Latest version of SAP .
As you see above in the billing we have billed for the whole quantity but RG1 does not update for the since the batches are zero .
My programmer says because of some note related to cancellation where it says about values H & J in vbfa table and due to which program does not go through the Note for the batch split .
Now i have checked few other projects in my company and they all seems to be following the program . So i am wondering whether my process or some customization is missing .
Sales order (no batch determination)  , in delivery the batches are picked through wm to and batch split happens in the delivery . Then billling for the whole quantity . We have automatic excise invoice creation enabled so no J1IIN .
    Can somebody help me .
    Thank you

My programmer says because of some note related to cancellation where it says about values H & J in vbfa table and due to which program does not go through the Note for the batch split
Which field (H & J) they were referring in VBFA ?
i have checked few other projects in my company and they all seems to be following the program
How about the other projects' values in VBFA where your techinical team is guessing some issue.  Have you compared this?
Since you have already the note 158234 implemented in your system, ideally, you should not face any issue.

  • SD Pricing Procedure - Excise Values to be considered for Trading Location

    Hi Experts,
We have defined a pricing procedure with PR00 condition and a Excise Condition ZTEX. While creating the Sales Order, I shall not be able to know the Excise Value (as the input Excise invoices are in the Excise module).
I create a Sales order and do a delivery & PGI. Now I go to J1IJ and select the Input Excise Invoice and post the transaction in Excise. (By this time I shall be able to know the Excise component).
Is there a way by which this value can be populated in the Sales Order Excise Condition ZTEX?
After delivery, I shall do billing. So can this value flow into my Billing document (Condtion type ZTEX), so that my Excise component is automatically determined once I do my Excise posting after outbound Delivery.
Please note that I shall not able to find out the excise component (ZTEX) at the time of creating the Sales Order, but I shall be able to know the value before making my billing document.
    thanks in advance

  • Excise Values are not flowing from J1IJ to VF01

    Hi All,
I am facing the problem in Invoice to Customer(from Depot). Excise Values are not flowing from J1IJ. I maintained Alt Cal type as 356 in Pricing procedure for Excise condition types. Even though its not flowing. I am using Tax Procedure TAXINN.
I have gone through SDN, everybody is suggesting about 356 routine.
My scenario is STO from Plant to Depot and Sale from Depot to Customer.
    ME21N->VL10B->VF01(Proforma)->J1IIN->MIGO->VA01(from Depot)->VL01N->J1IJ(Depot Excise)->VF01(Invoice to Customer)
In J1IJ, excise values are coming but in VF01 it is not coming.
    Kindly help me.
    With Regards
    Azeez.Mohd

    Hi,
in j1ig initial screen which excise group/series group i need to enter
is it of supplying plant or depot --- Enter Your Excise group
If i enter material document no say 5000000265 (corresponds to migo-101 at depot )& year
it'm getting error message excise invoice already exists for5000000265 --> Check the Year of material document
You can also use the Excise Invoice Details tab
Enter Vendor's Ex.Inv.No. , enter your STO's Excise Invoice No. and Click on Own factory and enter factory's Series Group in n case of STO from factory,
use Depot Excise Invoice in case of transfer from another depot
    and Excise Inv. Date
    On next screen,
In case of non availability of Internal Excise No., select the line item and click on button. On next screen, enter Excise Inv. No., Date, Challan Qty, Excise Base value, ensure that Excise Duty rates are maintained in respective duty rates column, you can also manually enter the excise duty amount and press Enter . System will give warning messages, press Enter for each message and press Back button. System will display the excise duty amount, check the same and click on Save button.
Hope this will resolve your issue.

  • Excise Value and Freight value should be add to material cost in the depot

    Hi,
Can any one help me on my scenario?
We have depot concept my client requirement is excise Value and Freight value should be add to material cost (inventories at depot) in the depot
    Thanks & Regards
    KMR

    Hi All,
In Depot Sale. This are the Excise Duty Passed on to the Customer BED, AED ECS, SHECS, Other then that its added to the material cost. Define a Pricing procedure for value added to the material cost in both Procurement & Sales base your problem will be solved.

  • Depot Sales-Excise values are not flowing from J1iJ to VF01

    Hi Gurus,
In Depot Sales: while doing excise invoive from T-code J1iJ Go to delivery -RG23D selection select the delivery number XXXXX Excise Group 51 and series Group: 50 ENTER - select the line item and click on F6 and here we have to click on excise invoice Button for capturing the Input excise duties for taking the reference. And the excise values are shown here correctly.
Issue: In VF01- when we are raising the commercial invoice , the duty values are not flowing from the J1IJ transaction. Instead the values are showing Zero for all the three condition types namely JEXP, JECS and JHCS. We have used the Pricing Procedure ZINDEP and 356 routine.
Inputs on this how to solve will be highly appreciated.. as we are in critical stage.
What are the checks to be ensured to Get the values flow from J1IJ to VF01.
Scenario: STO from Mfrg Plant to Depot and Depot sales to customer.
Me21N-Me29N-VL10B-VL02N-VF01-J1IIn-MIGO-(STO process completes)-VA01-VL01N-J1IJ-VF01(duty values should flow from the J1IJ referenced Excise Invoice) Correct me if I am wrong.
Any user exits, Notes please let me know. I could not find any. I have gone through the forum threads, which speaks about 356 routine, J1ID- checks etc.
    Thanks&Regards
    Sreekanth:

    Hi!
Am sure you would have captured the Excise at Depot with J1IG.
Also, have you saved the billing document to check the duties?
Thirdly, after save, again open the billing doc and go to Header-Conditions then Save. This part does not seems logical, but i am sharing my practical experience.
Please check condition records if any.
    Regards

  • Excise values are not showing in billing

    hi all,
In RG23D register BED, AED, ECS values are showing correctly, but in order (VA02) or in billing (VF01) excise values are not showing. So, what could be the reason and what need to be checked?
    thanks.

    mohan prabu,
Its Surprising, how come it is not appearing in Order and billing but yet it is passed to register RG23D.
    1. Check Whether you have maintained those condition types in your pricing procedure.
    2. Check whether you have maintained VK11 i.e., Values for those Excise Condition Types.
    3. Check whether you have activated Statistical indicator for those condition types.
    4. Proceed performing Analysis in Item details --> Conditions Tab --> Click Analysis tab provided to check whether the conditio types has been executed or not.
    5. Check your Config Settings
IMG --> LG --> Tax on Goods Movement --> India --> Basic Settings --> Determination of Excise Duty -->  Maintain Excise Defaults
Check these initially and let us know your outcome...

  • Condition JEXC- Manual Excise Value, is missing in pricing procedure A M RM

    Dear Gurus,
During PO creation following massage occurred,
Condition JEXC- Manual Excise Value, is missing in pricing procedure A M RM0000.
scenario: - JEXC condition type not picking the value automatically against Tax Code.
    Pl. help,
    Regards,

    hi
plz check that U HAVE GIVEN PROPER SCHEMA FOR THE VENDOR  as it is detecting schema as RM0000
    or
it means that u have not yet setup the manual excise
    check following configuration
Use Condition Type "JEXC" in MM Pricing Procedure.
You can use manual excise condition "JEXC" in case if your BED Rate is not fixed as 14% and you want to enter BED Value manually.
Once you input value in JEXC then it will replace the value of BED in "Taxes" under "Invoice" Tab. And ECS / 2% ans SECess / 1%
will get calculated on BED Value.
Here use Tax Code of (14% BED + 2% ECS + 1% SEcess + VAT/CAT As applicable), system will calculate BED, ECS & SECess as per the % maintained in Tax Code. Once you enter value in "JEXC" condition, it will replace the value of BED and ECS / 2% ans SECess / 1% will get calculated on BED Value.
    For e.g.
    As per Tax Code;
    Base Value = 10000
    BED / 14% = 1400
    ECS / 2% = 28
    SECess / 1% = 14
After putting value in "JEXC" as 1600 (For e.g.)
    Base Value = 10000
BED / 14% = 1600 (Here 1400 will get replaced by 1600 under "Invoice" tab - "Taxes" button)
    ECS / 2% = 32
    SECess / 1% = 16
I think the above example will make clear the use of condition type "JEXC"
And Condition Type "NAVS" (Non - Deductible Tax) is used in MM Pricing which will bring value of CST from "Taxes" screen to "Conditions" of PO. Check the attributes of NAVS condition type in M/06

  • Apportion Excise value in Return Sales order

    Hi,
With reference to Depot scenario, when there is a return sales order created reference to Customer Invoice, the Excise values are not getting apportioned with reference to manual change in the quantity.
As per our customized routine the excise values are copied from Excise invoice to the customer invoice, instead of condition record. And as per the copy control settings the excise values are directly copied from Customer invoice to Return sales order. But when the quantity is changed in the return sales order only the Base price is changed, but the excise invoice (condition type - JEXP) is not changed as per the changed quantity.
If i do the update price in return sales order(order type - ZRC) the excise value is picked from condition order, but as per requirement of the business they will not do the update price, only the quantity in the return sales order is changed by the user.
Can you please let us now the solution how to apportion the excise value based on changed quantity.
    Regards,
    Jagadish

but the excise invoice (condition type - JEXP) is not
changed  as per the changed quantity.
Assuming that the Calculation Type of your above condition type is percentage, I have a feeling that unless you wrongly assigned the From-To step number in your pricing procedure, definitely, based on the quantity, your price will vary and based on this price, your ED should also get changed.  So check your return depot pricing procedure once again.
    thanks

  • Excise Value to Upload in Material Cost.

    Hi Guru's
Our requirement is to add all the excise value to material cost. For that we have created new pricing procedure and it works ok as far as basic and education cess loading into material but this does not work for Higher Education Cess. Apart from loading into material cost it also takes the amount in modvat clearing account.
Please guide us so that the Higher education cess amount does not hit into modvat clearing account but to behave same as basic or education cess.
Our tax procedure is formula based (TAXINJ)

    Hi,
Check your H.EduCess condition type in following path ,where we specify which condition type is used for which sort of tax
SPRO --> Logistics general > tax on Goods Movements>India > Condition-Based Excise Determination>Classify Condition Types
Also check G/L account for excise transaction.
SPRO  -->  Logistics general  -->  tax on Goods Movements --> India  --> Account determination -->  Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction
