I had the same issue on my iPod touch 4th Gen, I noticed the issue after updating the device to 6.1.5. I dont know what device or IOS your running but if it is similar then I think this ma be the cause. My solution to you is to create a free apple ID on their website, https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/wa/createAppleId. Hope this helped and good luck!

Apple care does not cover theft. It covers manufacturing defects for warranty. You need to contact the police and report it to them. Only insurance would replace a phone, and usually with a deductible. There is no free phone in your future.

To change the iCloud account on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone. When you delete the account you will be given the option to either keep or delete the iCloud data from your phone. This also, only deletes the account and the iCloud data from your phone, not from iCloud. Your husband's phone won't be effected by this. Then, to create a separate account, sign back in with a different Apple ID (you can continue to share the same ID for iTunes).
If you have any photo stream photos that you want to keep on the phone, save them to your camera roll before deleting the account.
If you're sharing the same ID for iMessage and FaceTime you'll end up getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls. To prevent this, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your new iCloud ID. Then do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime. -
My iPhone 5 suddenly stopped opening the Apple Mail app. It had worked flawlessly for years, but just stopped. It worked on my iPad, and of course on the computer. What's going on, and how do I fix it? I've turned the phone on and off several times, soft reset several times. There was no change in any settings when this happened, nor any new apps were added. Does it not work either way? Sending and receiving? Did you check the settings and make sure that nothing has changed? If you can receive email, but not send it, check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional. -

Where did you purchase this. The US phones do not come with the SIM removal tool anymore. They haven't for some time now. I'm not even sure it comes with any of the devices anymore. You can just straighten out a paper clip and do the same thing.

FinnYou would have to change it back to your old email address in order to turn off "Find My iPhone" on your devices. After you changed it back to your old address and deactivated "Find My iPhone" (activation lock) you could change your Apple ID to your new address again. Now it should wok on all your devices.

basically someone has an old iphone and there was inappropiate websites visited on the phone and i was blamed for it.

Nic Here are some of the standard fixes I think may help in your case: 4. Your iPhoto preferences file may be corrupted.
(MAKE SURE you QUIT iPhoto first)
You will find it in your Home directory:
(Home/your account) >Library>Preferences>com.apple.iPhoto.plist Remove or trash the preference (.plist file) and restart iPhoto. If it still doesn't work go on to these remedies, in order. 5. Bad Album data?

1 - move the Albums folder and the AlbumData.xml file to the desktop.
2 - launch iPhoto. It if launches successfully you probably have a corrupt album. To locate the bad "apple", pun intended, do the following: 1 - move one of the individual album folders and it's associated data file into the new Albums folder that was created in the iPhoto Library folder.
2 - launch iPhoto. If it's successful do the same with the next album folder and data file. If iPhoto doesn't launch successfully, that's a bad one and remove it and the data file.
3 - repeat for each individual album folder in the old Albums folder. 6. Rebuild Library

Relaunch while holding down the key combination below for your version

I set up iCloud on my Mac, iPad, and iPhone. I created a numbers document on my iPad and then opened it on my iPhone to test it. How do I open the document on my Mac? I can see it when I click "Manage My Storage" from the iCloud preferences, but it is not in my documents or anywhere else on my Mac.

My daughter & I share same iCloud acct for my ipad & her iPhone. She set up a new iCloud acct for her new ipad but my iCloud acct still shows on her iPhone. If we delete, will it remove all her pictures etc(they are backed up to my iCloud)

If she deletes your account, any photos in your photostream album will be removed from her device, her own photos in camera roll or other albums will not. If there are any photos in your photostream album she wants, there are 2 options available to her:
Copy those photos to her camera roll before deleting your account.
Create a shared photostream album yourself and share it with her. -

Nothing to worry about. If you open Settings and scroll down and tap Phone, you will see "Respond with Text" and one of the standard replies on mine is "Can't talk right now ... I'll call you later." I would guess that a button got hit while in your bag.

My daughter created an apple ID for my new phone but she forgot the password, so I created a new one, and so far I can purchase new apps with my new apple ID however there's an update pending for the Facebook application and when I try to update it the phone still asks for my old apple ID. That's the only app that's giving me that problem. Please help
That's normal behavior. Whenever an app needs to be updated, it will always require the Apple ID that downloaded/installed the app. If you don't know or can't recover that password, you can't update the app. You have to delete and then reinstall it.

Go to http://appleid/apple.com and click 'Find your Apple ID'. You already have one, which you've used to log in here, but if you have another for iCloud then hopefully you will be able to find that as well.

IPhone defaulting back to home screen, freezing and in a loop of rebooting/asking for passcode
iPhone 4, just over a month old, about 2 weeks into use has been playing up since.... I'm certain the problem is the same, but it manifests in different ways, usually daily. If unused for a period (as in an hour or two), the iPhone (when pressing the home button) goes to the black reboot screen, then asks for passcode, back to reboot, passcode and into an interminable loop.
Attempting to launch applications, or the internet, will just revert back to the home screen (as if the home button is pressed), or often, the home button will not work at all.
The onyl way of rectifying this is to shut off or - as this is sometimes not possible - screen and all buttons unresponsive - rebooting (holding home button & one of button)
I'm hoping it's a simple case of reinstalling something, or perhaps reverting to factory settings, but wonder if anyone else has experienced anything similar.Hello Simmo1997,
