Devicename not updated in Profilemanager - SecCertificateCopyCommonName() failed
I have successfully enrolled serveral iPhones 3GS/4/4S (all running iOS 5.0.1) on my Lion-Server 10.7.2.
One iPhone3GS still makes problem, cause the name of the iPhone is still shown as a new device in Profilemanager. The logfile shows:
[CertsRequestHandler(HelperAdditions) commonNameForCertificate:]: SecCertificateCopyCommonName() failed: -25304

I have already restore the settings, set it up as a new device, still no change....
Any further hints?

I made some slight modifications to the code, built on Windows x64 and created the container (renamed it to MyContainer.dbxml - added the file extension) and added the document.
Then I opened the container using the dbxml shell and used an XQuery Update statement to try and replace the value. The query I used:
dbxml>query "replace node doc('dbxml:/MyContainer.dbxml/MyDoc1')/__/Password with <Password><![CDATA[newPass]]></Password>"
This gave me the following result:
<__><![CDATA[server_1]]><type><![CDATA[Server_1]]></type><Password>newPass</Password></__>
It looks like if you want to replace data in the CDATA sections you're going to have to replace the entire document. From what I can tell (and until someone on the product team can confirm or correct me on this), it appears to be a bug.

it actually needs more space than that. The file size is your 65 mb is probably the ota incremental file size. The full package is 700 mg, and the system needs 3 gig of free space to unpack and install.

My itunes will not update. I get a message that is saying that MSVCR80.II Is missing from your computer, Try reinstalling to fix this problem. So when i tried to reinstall, it says itunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall error 7 (windows err 126) Then when i tried to reinstall i get this....Service applemovile device failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient priveledges to start service...the I see abort, retry and ignore....when I hit retry, it sill fails and i get the same message again. How do I fix it? Will I lose all my music if I delete it all and reinstall itunes? I haven't tried that yet.
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I am using Iphone 3gs. Last week I updated my itunes to latest version, although I couldnt not update my iphone OS since the download fails saying error 9006. For last 2 days all my Iphone applications fail to open except the default ones. Any solutions?
Download a free app and try again, you can delete the free app afterward.

Update failed on After Effects CC. After Effects will not update!
After Effects will not update! I have tried several times clicking the update button but soon after i click the button it says 'update failed' it has an option to learn more - if clicked, this is what would appear - Please Help!

Update Failed - AAM will not update my CC apps
I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and just don't know what else to do. I've been trying to update my CC apps. It tells me everything is up to date which is not true at all. After Effects has a new update and it does not see it from the application itself or from CC desktop app. I've tried installing manualy and this is the error I get. PLease someone has to have seen this before. Help adobe, I don't know what to do. I just need my software to update!
I uninstalled and ran the adobe cleaner. Reinstalled my CC apps. It tells me it needs updates now. It fails with this error for all these apps.

RSS - Live bookmark failed to load - Firefox, RSS feeds not updating
I am new to this forum, and I figure this has been covered before. However, I'm not finding an answer.
I have a Beehive workspace and go to Recent Activity to subscribe to the RSS feed. When using Firefox, I am prompted for my username and password. The RSS feed works until I quit Firefox. After restarting Firefox, I get the "Live bookmark failed to load" message.
If I try to access the feed with Safari, I have the option to enter my username and password, and then save that info in my keychain. I'm trying to determine if the reason the RSS feed isn't updating because of some authentication problem.
People using Internet Explorer have also reported problems with Beehive workspace RSS feeds not updating, so I'm trying to find a solution.
Not providing reliable RSS feeds is slowing down adoption of our workspace, and people aren't wanting to use the workspace until I've resolved the RSS issue.
Can you point me to a solution or to information on how to resolve the RSS updating issues.

The RSS feed is password protected as you have to be an authenticated user to access the complete system. The issue seems to be in the browser - if it does not trigger a check for username/password and then prompt if not set there is a li9mited amount we can do.
We are working on getting the subscriptions inside beehive working which will generate notifications but that will not be available for a week or so.

while running Firefox it comes on the screen saying security update so after it ties to update this comes on the screen "The Update could not be installed (patch apply failed)" I am running Firefox 6.0 and don't seem to have any other issues with it but it asks me several times to do this update but still says it cant do it

Update 11.1.4 failed on WVista and windows 7 laptops. ITunes do not work on either computer. I re-installed it on Windows 7 and again got same message"Error 7(windows error 126).

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
