I thought about it and deceited to let fellow Flash / FLEX developers know.
Published on the general Msg board section on New Zealands main trading site called 'TadeMe'.
Somebody trying to offer his services to the publicon there under = 'Freelance Web Design'
I am wanting to get some freelance web design work and was wondering if anyone could advise me of where to advertise or how to get work?
I have tried contacting local businesses around my area but have not had much response.
I have a degree in design and commercial experience so am not lacking in skill - just need advice on how to get some work Thanks

@totallyme...can I ask why you specifically want a site created in Flash? I tend to steer my clients well away from Flash.

Never ever use adobe flash! tell your clients that there is a hidden virus in flash that can shut the users computer down. works for me also learn more about HTML5 video and forget about IE6 support. good luck

a hidden virus? that doesnt sound good...so every website i have visited that uses flash, i now have a virus from them...

This mainly covers the "freeze frame" problem with loss of colour and definition/brightness. I use the "video adjustments" tool to match the still with the original video frame.
Like you, I'm generally happy with the quality of stills obtained from iMovie '09. Other than "freeze frames" I import stills from the Events into iPhoto for enhancement/adjustment then either prepare slideshows in iPhoto or re-import to iMovie for slideshow preparation etc.
None of this is probably that relevant to your question, but it gives me an excuse to ask you - what happened to your Mac Mini, or have you turned to the dark side?

My ipod from the beggining of the day was show me that it has a problem with the battery ,after this is show me on the screen the folowing directive

Did anybody know about this please I need help.Somehow the iPod started the Assorized test and it is completed. Most likely due to a bad and dying battery which need to be replaced.
To get out of the screen, Just Reset the iPod - Press Menu and Center Button for about 10 secs till the Apple logo comes ON.
The diagnostic might trigger again, until you get the iPod overhauled by Apple or 3rd party vendors. -
I have a Macbook Pro june 2011... I have 8GB ram but I only have 256mb VRAM...
I've read some other questions about this and I realized... Why do I not have 560mb of VRAM since I have 8GB of RAM?
Is there any way to get more VRAM to play games on steam?
I've learned by reading other topics that I can't upgrade my graphics card on my Macbook Pro because it's soldered into the motherboard or somthing like that, but please tell me if there is any way to get more video ram by chaning some setting or upgrading something else. I'd also like to know why I only have 256MB of VRAM when I have 8GB of RAM, since I have 8GB of RAM I thought I was supposed to have 560mb of VRAM...
So the two questions are...
Is there any way to upgrade my VRAM, so that I can play games on steam?
Why do I only have 256MB VRAM when I have 8GB total RAM?

I have a quad core i7 Processor.
My graphcics card is the AMD Radeon HD 6490M.
I am also trying to play games on my BOOTCAMPed side of my mac, or my Windows 7 Professional side.

DylanThe only two items that a user can change on a MBP are the RAM and HDD (Retinas not included). You have what the unit came with and the only way you will be able to change that is to purchase a MBP with superior graphics
If you are very much into gaming, the I suggest A PC. They are far superior for that type of application to a MBP.

You must have a verified billing address & be located in the country whose store you are trying to use. -
In About this Mac, Storage, the Backups takes about 49gb, do I need this and if not how do I get rid of it?
Yes, I used TM for the first time about a month or two ago, using an external HDD to backup my Mac and my daughters Mac's as well. The exHDD has not been regularly connected to my Mac Air and I've seen a couple of warnings come up stating- Time Machine was unable to backup your computer because..... (I forget ).
Correct me if I'm wrong but if this disc space is being used for the snapshots, then as I continue to use my computer then the space used for snapshots will submit? to the other apps requiring more space. So this probably isn't something that I need to worry about? -

When you add a gift card balance to the Apple ID, it's available for the Apple ID.
Probably best to create unique Apple ID's for each... this will also make things easier in the future as purchases are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with. -
i recently found my ibook and decided to see if it would still turn on. it did but i got this flashing question mark, i did some research into this and found out that the hard drive is the cause. so i opened it up replaced the hard drive and closed it up, booted from the disc and crossed my fingers but it did not pick up the hard drive. i thought it might not have been installed properly, so i opened it up to check the connections to make shure they were secure and closed it back up but now it wont even boot from the disc. so dose anyone know whats wrong with it because i really don't just want throw it away if its a simple fix. please if anyone know i would greatly appreciate it.

Either of these may be able to run a system no later than OS X Tiger 10.4.11.
So a system install disc set could be used to troubleshoot, install, restore &
prepare a replacement hard drive for a new system.
Not certain what the issues are behind your situation, there may be more than
meets the eye. Some models of iBook were more prone to hardware problems
and as they age, fewer opportunities to affordably repair them exist.

Hi, I've just purchased and installed an upgrade from Lightroom 4 to 5. It doesn't seem to handle raw files authored with a new Nikon D750 camera. I spoke to the sales rep about this and he gave me a link to the 8.6 DNG converter page with instructions to download. 8.6 only works with Mac OS 10.7-10.9, according to the page. I'm running Yosemite, Mac 10.10. Please can you tell me my options? Lightroom 4 worked beautifully with my older cameras' raw files so I would like to continue using the application. What should I do? How soon will Lightroom 5 be able to deal with raw files from a D750. Many thanks, Adam.
Until the next version of Lightroom is released, you need to use the DNG Converter version 8.7RC to convert your RAW photos to DNG and then import the DNGs into Lightroom.

Since your Mac probably came with 10.4, there is no longer a way to get 10.5 Leopard install media. IF it has the requirements, you may be able to upgrade to 10.6 Snow Leopard by buying the boxed install media at the Apple Store for $30.

I get this message, "can not read because it was created by a newer version" I restored twice at different dates and uninstalled all apple stuff and reinstaled it again. Still nothing Help John
That message is usually a sign that you tried to roll back to an earlier build of iTunes, but occasionally I've seen it connected to a new upgrade. This technique should fix things.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

My iphone 4S has been updated to the newest software and isn't detecting internet, although sometimes it connects for a few seconds and then disappears again. I have tried everything it has said on the internet about this and it still isn't working.
Ok I think it's a problem with my router. I went to my cousin's house and the Wi-Fi worked there perfectly. I was even able to download many apps. So I guess my router probably can't take in more connections. Oh well thanks anyway.

Problem: this mac is not reading an excell file after upgrading to yosemite. My Mac is from 2009, it use to work perfectly but it wasn´t able to open some apps, thats why i upgrade it. Now it once i donwload the zip it appears with an ".ods" extension

If the "it" refers to a compressed (zipped) spreadsheet that you downloaded, the ".ods" extension is used by LibreOffice and probably OpenOffice (which are free versions of MS Office) for spreadsheets, which would suggest that wherever you're getting that "Excel" file from has switched to one of those programs. I've tried opening an .ods file from LibreOffice using MS Office 2013 for Windows and it does open though with a warning that some things have been changed. I don't know if Office for Mac can normally open .ods files. But if your need is to just open .ods files, take a look at LibreOffice. -
