Difference Between Current version & All Version in DMS in Material Master

Hello All
Could any one tell me the Difference between Current Version & All version of DMS in Material Master (in /MM02 transaction)Additional Data tab where Documents are attached in Document Data Tab.
I am unable to see all Documents in "current Version" which are attached in "All Version" option in /MM02 transaction Additional Data Tab in Document Data.
How to display all DMS in current version which I can see in all version? Is there any configuration available in DMS?

01) I have attached the 02 DOCs at atime in material Master additional Data tab in all version option. First Doc type is ZDR & 02nd is ZTS and save my entries.
02) Then I go to /MM02 Transaction ..So which Doc type will appeared in current version.
   In current version you will see 2 entries as below
Doc type                                                                Version
   ZDR     <Mat number>        000     00
   ZTS     <MAt number>     000     00
03) 03rd step When I go to /MM02 transaction & attached 03rd same ZTS doc type doc whether this doc can be dipsly in current version or not after saving my entry.
     In current version you will see following entries

   ZDR     <Mat number>        000     00
   ZTS     <MAt number>     000     01
04) If I go to /MM02 transaction & attached 04th Doc (Doc type is ZAC) & save my entry. Can I see this Doc in current version when I once again go to /MM transaction.
     In current version you will see the following entries.

   ZTS     <MAt number>     000     01

There is no difference in SFg and FG Material master. some time Straegy group will differ.
FOR BOM
create a seperate Bom For SFG anf FG
In SFG BOM - maintain what are the materials required to make the FG in Compnent and the quantity.
In FG BOM- maintain SFG material as component and give the quantity, item category and other raw material or SFG

My student has been using Lightroom 4 with Photoshop CS5 on her Mac for well over a year. Because of the difference between the Camera raw version available to her in Photoshop CS5 and the raw process in Lightroom 4, she has been exporting her raw images

My student has been using Lightroom 4 with Photoshop CS5 on her Mac for well over a year. Because of the difference between the Camera raw version available to her in Photoshop CS5 and the raw process in Lightroom 4, she has been exporting her raw images from Lightroom and choosing the "Render using Lightroom option when it popped up in the dialogue box. She has been doing this for over a year and a half without any problem. Today when she hit Command E no dialogue box appeared and the image just opened in Photoshop. I'm concerned that all of her Lightroom edits are not being rendered to Photoshop. Anyone have an idea as to how we can get the "Render using Lightroom" dialogue back?

Differences between the "Adobe Acrobat Versions 7 and 9"

Dear Adobe Support Team,
I need to know the differences between the "Adobe Acrobat Versions 7 and 9". I have worked with Acrobat 7 and have used the same script after installing Acrobat 9 for Automation Testing with QTP for validating pdf. The object "AcroExch.AVDoc" is not getting identified as object while working in QTP in the system/machine which has Acrobat 9 installed, whereas it works well in the machine which has Acrobat 7 installed . So it will be better if two things are known as per my understanding, ie.,
it must have compatibility issue (i need the difference between "Adobe Acrobat versions 7 & 9" to assure this) or
installation issue( which can be confirmed if the former question is answered).
So i kindly request you to help me out for this scenario.

Countless new features were introduced between Acrobat 7 and 9, are you really expecting us to type out a full list from memory?
If you are having specific issues with the Acrobat SDK, first refer to the Acrobat SDK for the higher version. If there remains an issue I suggest posting about the specific problem in the Acrobat SDK forum, rather than asking for an encylopedia of all possible information...
Note that Adobe do not support multiple installations of Acrobat on the same machine, so you can expect development issues if you do this.

I migrated from 7.5 to 9.3.1 a couple years back so hopefully this is somewhat helpful.
From a developer perspective, the report designer itself looks about the same. The most annoying changes for me were that they started migrating functionality AWAY from the client program and to the web. For instance, managing security is a pain as it is done through Workspace and it is a bit clunkly. I also ran into some issues where my old report's security information is not visible in Workspace. It is still 'working', but when you view report properties, it shows nothing for who has assigned security. Also, things like deleting/moving reports and creating folders are done through workspace and not the client program. "Copying" can be done through the client program by using "Save As" functionality.
There is a migration tool to move your old stuff to 9.3.1. It seemed to work OK; however, the User Interface was a bit screwy. For instance, it said I was 138% complete when it finished. It copied more reports than it showed as existing.... :)
On the back end, things changed quite a bit. In the older Financial Reports, the report objects existing in a single database table and if you wanted to, you could extract everything from that table. In 9.3.1, part of the information is in Workspace database (i.e. Report names/ID's, security access, hierarchy) and the actual report file itself is stored in a psedo-filesystem under the RM webapp. The names are not user friendly at all and you'll need to XREF from the database to make sense of it. When you finally find the actual report "file", they are compressed/encrypted.
From an end user perspective, things pretty much work the same way as always.

If you had putchased the Logic 9 academic version you get all the updates 9.0, 9.03, 9.1, 9.3...etc
When Logic 10 rolls around you would have to purchase the application at full price, your version isn't elgible for the upgrade price.
Same software as the retail version though.

Though I was part of the forum update beta, there was some that we could not effectively test, plus some aspects (like "Like"), that some liked, but others did not. That sort of thing happens.
Also, now that we have the full version, and all servers are synced, there will probably be things that the beta testers did not get to experience. We will all be learning, in the process too. Also remember, much of the new forum software was provided by Jive, and though many of us commented (pros and cons), only so much could be addressed. It was not quite like doing a beta on Adobe software, as there was a complete, separate layer in between.
So far, what I see looks close to what we saw a few weeks (months?) ago. Now, I need to really put the real software through its paces, to see what got changed from then, until now.

Difference Between Current Day and fist day of the payroll period

Hi,
How do i find the difference between the current day and the first day of the payroll period with period parameter XX.
Operation VARSTFDYXX is used to decide if the current day is the first day of the payroll period. But is there any operation available to check the difference in exact number of days.
I know hrs=y is used to find difference between current day and a date specification record from IT0041, but i need to check difference between current day and first day from a payroll period parameter.
Any response is greatly appreciated.

non-valuated material (Material Type UNBW):
This type of material is managed on a quantity basis, but not on a value basis. This makes sense for materials of low value, stocks of which nevertheless have to be monitored (for example, operating manuals).
Non-stock material (NLAG) (Material Type NLAG):
Inventory management is not possible for these materials either on a quantity or value basis. For frequently required consumables, the use of this material type nevertheless enables you to store the information required to create
purchasing documents (such as texts and units of measure).
When a material is procured directly for consumption, no material master record is necessary. In connection with consumable materials, you can distinguish between the following cases:
Consumable material without material master record
Consumable material with material master record that is not subject to
inventory management (on either a quantity or value basis)
Consumable material with material master record that is subject to inventory management on a quantity, but not a value, basis

Differences Between JDev BC4J/JClient Versions

Hi,
I'm finding key differences between library versions of my BC4J and JClient libraries which are introducing bugs into my application. What once ran properly no longer runs properly in JDev 10.1.2. What makes this particularly interesting is that the Application Server has the older libraries (which work) while JDeveloper 10.1.2 has the new libraries (which have the issues). I was wondering if anyone could point me to a document of all the changes in BC4J and JClient between releases.
Here are two of the differences I'm seeing...
1. In the older BC4J lib (deployed by default with the 10g app server) using a ViewCriteria to select a ROW with a CHAR[7] using a string with less than 7 characters works fine. It simply does a standard CHAR[7] comparision, treating the missing characters as spaces, and finds a match. ie "select * from MY_TABLE where KEY='AA' finds the key with 'AA ' and it shows up in my results as I desire.
In the newer BC4J lib, while the same select statement runs (and finds the row) the BC4J libraries seem to be doing a post processing in the ViewCriteria which HIDES this row from me. I have to manually PAD my input string in Java before putting it into the ViewCriteria to get it to work. (And no, the database can't be changed to a VARCHAR for other reasons.)
2. The JFACE library's ScrollablePanel has no trouble creating a scrollable panel with a table for my ViewObject in the old version of the JFACE library. However, the new version of the JFace library has a problem where scrolling the panel shows many blank rows, until I actually click on a row, at which point the internal ViewObject cursor moves forward and loads that data (and hides the earlier data).
This is annoying as I really would prefer to be able to upgrade to new libraries when they come out. But instead I'm having to download the older libraries and put them into JDeveloper instead.
a. Can anyone point me to a document listing all changes between BC4J and JFace library versions?
b. Does anyone know of a better way to work around the issues I'm seeing above? They're really annoying.

I use weblogic 10.3.4 with Application Development Runtime (11.1.1.2.0) and JDev 11.1.1.4.i assume you are using standalone wls 10.3.4 with Application Development Runtime (11.1.1.2.0).
But jdeveloper 11.1.1.4 has ADR 11.1.1.4.0 .. It would create some incompatabilities.
Betw:
you can install ADR from jdeveloper setup also, just uncheck the jdev and wls studio installation when installing ADR from jdev, It will also prompt for the wls home.
