Different error messages for Weblogic-Apache bridge

We are running WLS 5.1 sp5 with Apache as Webserver.
I want to know how could I display more user freindly error messages when
weblogic is down and apache is working. Currently we get the default
Weblogic-Apache down page.

We used this but it did not work. Now the default does not show up but it is
not able to find the url that we specify which is reachable if I directly
use in the brower.

Printer stopped working. Different error messages for each application.

Hello. Recently I have been unable to print anything from any application and get different error messages from each application. For example:
Word says "Word cannot print due to a problem with the current printer. Make sure you have a printer selected in Print Canter. You may need to print again or adjust your printer settings."
Entourage says "An error occurred while printing. Not enough memory."
Excel says "Microsoft Excel could not communicate with the printer."
Preview says "Print. Error while printing."
I have tried installing new drivers, repairing the disk and permissions, and deleting and adding the printer from the System Preferences.
I am running OS X 14.4.10 on an iMac G4 1.25 GHz PowerPC with 256 MB DDR SDRAM.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Try downloading the 10.4.10 Combination Updater from Apple and re-update.
If that doesn't help try the free trial of Printer Setup Repair from www.fixamac.net.
If those don't help, reinstall OS X using the Archive & Install option in the installer.

Error Message For BISystemUser: User not authenticated

We have migrated from DEV to PROD env.(11.1.1.1 -> 11.1.1.3). Along problems with bipublisher - there are some strange thingths: we successfully loging using weblogic account into AdminConsole и Enterprise Manager, but in Answers we get an error: invalid username or password.
nqserver.log:
...[ERROR:1] [] [] ... [tid: 1090] Error Message For BISystemUser: User not authenticated.
...[ERROR:1] [] [] ... [tid: 1090] [nQSError: 43126] Authentication failed: invalid user/password.
In oracle support we found such issue (Doc ID 1308389.1):
OBIEE 11g Error: "Unable to Sign in. invalid username or password was entered" After Changing Repository, Deleting BISystem User, Adding it Back (Doc ID 1308389.1)
Applies to: Business Intelligence Server Enterprise Edition - Version: 11.1.1.3.0 [1905] to 11.1.1.5.0 [1308] - Release: 11g to 11g
Symptoms: In OBIEE 11.1.1.3.0 using default authenticator, it is not possible to log in to OBIEE after changing repository. To troubleshoot, BIsystemuser was removed from global roles and added back again.
Getting error: Unable to Sign in. invalid username or password was entered
Changes: Changed repository, deleted BISystemuser, added the user back
Cause: Several changes e.g changing rpd, deleting bisystem user, adding the user back etc. occurred in the environment and caused log in to OBIEE to stop working
Solution: After a lot of troubleshooting e.g re-starting system in the correct order, refreshing GUIDs, re-start OBIEE with default SampleAppLite.rpd and web catalog, the error persists. The system was uninstalled and re-installed to avoid further corruption and configuration problems in the new installation. This resolved the problem
Does we have to 'reinstall or make a lot of troubleshooting e.g re-starting system ' to solve this error?
It seem to be funny for PROD environment. How we cam resolve this problem?

Are you saying you upgraded both dev and prod from 11.1.1.1 to 11.1.1.3 or that you migrated a dev 11.1.1.1 to a prod 11.1.1.3? What did you migrate?
At a rough guess the BISystemUser password is different in dev and prod (created by system on install) and in your 'migration' you've moved the dev credential across to prod.
If that's the case you need to change the bisystemuser password to something known and update the credential store password.
Another possibility might just be that you need to regenerate the GUIDs:

I have a problem uploading files larger than quarter a mega, the jsp
page does a POST
to a servlet which reads the input stream and writes to a file.
Configuration: Apache webserver 1.3.12 connected to the Weblogic 5.1
application server
via the bridge(mod_wl_ssl.so) from WebLogic Service pack 4.
The upload goes on for about 30 secs and throws the following error.
"Failure of WebLogic APACHE bridge:
IO error writing POST data to 100.12.1.2:7001; sys err#: [32] sys err
msg [Broken pipe]
Build date/time: Jul 10 2000 12:29:18 "
The same upload(in fact I uploaded a 8 MEG file) using the
Netscape(NSAPI) WebLogic
connector.
Any answers would be deeply appreciated.

How to extract error message for each output type.

Need your advice on the problem that I have.
Expected Solution:
1. Create an extra column for displaying header output error message from VF02 into a report program.
Steps that i have did:
1. Go to transaction VF02.
2. Enter a billing document number.
3. Hit enter. Click "Goto" > Header> Output
4. Click on the status that is red colour. Click on "processing log".
5. Press "F1" on the red colour message type. (Found out that it is a structure).
Need your advice on the question that I have:
1) How do we know that which "not successfully" process output type belong to which error message class?

But for this issue about how to extract message for each output type. I have follow your steps by using SE30 to trace VF03 and I managed to found out that they are using this function module "WFMC_PROTOCOL_SHOW". Need your advice on this, how do we know each different output type with different error message is pulled from?
From my further research and in depth debugging into this function module, i manage to find this global internal table "PROTO_TAB" which stores all the text messages for each output. How does this internal table is populated?

How to configure a error queue for weblogic jms topic

Hi guys.
I want to configure a error queue for weblogic jms topic. Wanted: The message goes to error destination when messages have expired or reached their redelivery limit.
1. using jms transport configure proxy service:
Retry Count :3
Retry Interval:10
Error Destination: ErrorTopic
Expiration Policy: Redirect
I tried use the proxy service to consume message from the jms topic . and generation an error in the proxy message flow. But the message didn't goes into the error topic.
Any suggestions for this topic? Can anyone provide some helps or any useful links.

To accomplish similar functionality go to JMSQ on (for which proxy is configured) server console (http://localhost:7001/console) and configure the Error Destination. Different error messages from different env while fetching ref cursor

I have a package where i need to call one of the procedure.I this 
procedure i am returning a refcursor as out parameter.Before returning refcursor i 
am doing i am checking a condition if it is satisfied then I am saying return or else 
it will proceed and refcursor is assigned for out parameter.So i am speakig about 
the condition where i am exiting from procedure before refcursor parameter is 
assigned .And later i am tring to fetch from that cursor .So i am getting different 
kinds of errors which i described as follows

The error depends on exactly what OCI calls the client software makes in accessing this invalid (null) ref cursor variable.
It would seem that SQL*Plus makes different calls than what your code and Visual Basic does - thus the different error messages returned by the two applications.

Can't sync, keep getting different error messages

Had to restore my iPod Classic and now iTunes won't sync. It syncs for a while but then I get an error message. I stop it, start over again and get a different error message. First it says it can't read the folder, then it can't read the file, then it gets an "unknown error (-81)"... what the heck is going on here

Cfform with cfinput validation producing different error messages

I have a cfm that is using cfform and cfinput. There are 7 text fields and one checkbox. The 7 fields are all required and the checkbox must be checked. Sometimes the javascript behaves differently. Sometimes I get an individual alert for each field that is blank and if the checkbox is not checked.
Most times, the error messages for the fields are grouped and displayed in a single alert. From the looks of the java script that is generated by cold fusion, it should always group the error messages and display them in a single alert.
On the occasions when I get the individual alerts popping up, the validation on the checkbox also does not work. The validation fails whether the checkbox is checked or not.
Tests were conducted in IE9 and Firefox 24 on Windows 7.
Any idea why the java script would work differently? Is it possible there is an old version of CF that is being picked up sometimes?

Which version of ColdFusion are you using? Regardless, you're better of these days ditching cfinput and cfform if possible, and writing your own Javascript (or using a proper JS framework).

RFCFILE7: Different Error messages on the same error: BP already exists...

Hi,
migrating Business Partners with the RKCFILE7 Direct input program gives 3 different error messages in case that the BP already exists:
1. BP & already exists in role BCA010
2. BP with external number & already exists
3. Data record to be created is alrady available in table BUT000
The strange issue is, that migrating same BPs twice the error log gives for each BP one of these 3 error messages.
However all 3 messages are valid for all BPs (they all exist).
Any idea?

Sorry, don't know what else to suggest unless there's a URL to the problem stream that someone here can try. Otherwise we can't test it to try and determine what might be wrong.
BTW, make sure they're testing it with a Mac, not with a Windows system. If they test only with Windows, what they say is or is not working doesn't mean much.
