Different salesman with different group of customer

Dear all,
would like to know how to set for the following:
User01 cannot create SO/Quotation with the user02's customer.
If fact, we have 10 salesman and they have their own customer individually, each salesman is only enable to use their own customer to create SO/Quotation and they are not allow to see other's salesman's customer or SO/Quotation.

I think that you can try to create your own auth.object with tcode SU21 with these parameter and ACTVT (create, modify, view, delete,...). Set it in subroutine userexit_check_vbak in report MV45AFZB and finally manage for each user in PFCG (user profiles).

this is what i'm trying to do. i've segregated all my ferts into material groups. now when i go into va01 to create sales order and enter customer, i want it the system to suggest material that is only relevant for that customer, by material group, not by sales view which is the current setting. is there a way i can link customer to a material group? and if i do that will it suggest material for that customer when i goto the line item to enter material??

Frist difference Dynamic Product Proposal & Listing / Exclusion:
Dynamic Product Proposal is just list of Materials that is proposed as soon as you enter Customer Code in Sales Order. Customer can order materials that are not contained in Dynamic Product Proposal. It is for ease of Order Entry.
Listing / Exclusion is a List of maintained in system which restricts Customer to Order mateirals not mentioned in LIsting,
Thus in your case List / Exclusion is better option
As far as Config is concerned if you want to restrict the Materials based on Customer Code then no config. changes is required because the standard table 001 (Customer / Material) is already available.
Just maintain Condition Record in VB01 & try to create Sales Order. You will clearly see the effect.
Only config. you will need is this:
IMG - Sales and Distribution - Basic Functions - Listing/Exclusion - Activate listing/exclusion by sales document type (To activate Listing / exclution for your Sales Document Type. Maintain A00001 & B00001 here.

Getting file names of different groups in a data portal

Hi,
I am finding difficult to retreive the file names of the different groups loaded in the data portal. For example, say I have loaded two different files of same ext .tdms in to the data portal which automatically assigns as two groups. My objective is to retreive the file name of the two groups loaded using VBS in diadem 11.1.
Can anyone help me in this regard.

I have got a plugin which loads the multiple lvm files with their sourcefile name. Earlier it would be like Labview Data, Labview data1, Labview data2.... when multiple files are loaded. Now with this plugin attached in the startup script, all the files are loaded with their original file names.
Attached the plugins, place the Custom LVM Load Event. Vbs in the start up script, the other attachment is the function callled by the main script.

My contacts on my iPhone are organized in different groups. I have downloaded a trade show app which gives infos on the exhibitors of the show. It offers to create new contacts from these info. Is there any way to save these new contacts in a specified group instead of putting them into the contacts root, where they are mixed with all the old ones? By the way, can we create a new contacts group directly from the IPhone, without having to go through the sync process with the PC?

How to run the Invoices in different groups within the batch in AP

Need to know that how to run the Invoices in different groups within the batch. This will be of very helpful when we deal with lot of lines under one batch. (e.g) like somewhere we issued a Corporate Card to all the employees Via Bank Of America. Every Month they will send the complete details of all the employees who ever swiped the corporate provided BOA. Accordding to Natco all those lines should be loaded as One Invoice so that a Single Payment can be provided to BOA and it will also makes their life easier. This standard program sometimes it works normal sometimes it will run like a TORTOISE. So thats why in the manual they suggested to use GROUP ID to split the Invoice Load.

I need to design schema for datbase and come up with a good architecture for web application (Servlets/jsp's etc).

Changing Cost Center / Profit Center asignment to a different group

I want to change the assignment of some of our cost Centers to different groups in the hierarchy. I know that the data already posted to CC/PC moves to the new group for reporting. I just wanted to take another opinion if anyone of you had done this before and had faced any issues. We are doing this during mid year.

Hi,
That's true: by moving CCtr to another group, the reporting will show you the figures under new group. You can copy though, the existing group to a new one (KSH1), and change it afterwards. This will allow you to do the reporting with alternate hierarchies.

Same legal unit as investee on different groups

Hi experts,
I am trying to enter same legal unit on different groups in the legalentity dimension members through the parenth1 hierarchie.
The problem is the system does not allow to enter 2 lines with same legal unit so it is not possible to tell the legalentity dimension members this entity belongs to two other groups. So at the end i decided to enter this consolidation unit in the group with more shares over it.
I am realized this data is entered in the dynamic hierarchie screen so in the consolidation reporting there will not any problem.
On the other hand if the owner of the group in which the entity has not been included wants to view a report with input data of the group, he/she could not see data about this entity that it is suposed it is on the group.
Example of the issue.
Company1(Belongs group1) owns the 70% of Company3
Company2(Belongs group2) owns the 30% of Company3
Company3 placed on the group with more shares(group1)
If the owner of the group 2 try to open a dynamic report of the data inputs of the group, company3 will not be showed on the report if we choose group2 in the current view parameters
Do Anybody have this issue before? How can we solve that problem?

Easily duplicate / paste layer in different group folder?

I design Web sites using Layer Comps so the homepage and innerpage examples are all in one .PSD. This means my Photoshop CC file has TONS of layers and folders that require me to scroll in the Layers Palette.
Is there a way to copy/paste or move a layer to a different group folder without dragging it? Copy/paste for layer styles is a great tool. Is there anything like this for layers themselves?
Sometimes I resort to opening a blank PSD to drag the layer to that, then go back to my source document and auto select the new group I want it in, flip back to the blank doc and drag the layer from there. That is not a great workaround if I want the positioning to be the same as the original layer.

Be sure to check that your Remoting Container service is running. If it is not, restart the service, and if it goes down again, check the event logs.
Make sure that the AuthenticationBridgeService is enabled in your EnvironmentSettings.config, and the remoting container user is configured using the SetupAssistant.

How to group measurement data into different groups using TDMs

I have designed a labview program for measuring the power current characteristics of a laser diode. I want to save the current and power arrays measured at different temperatures in different groups. I tried to implement this but I was not successful. The current and power measurements at different temperatures are being saved only in the first group and the rest are being empty! Please help me save the measurements in different temperature groups.
I need this urgently!

Perhaps a snippet of the code you are using would help. When you write to the TDMS file with the low level functions, you just need to specify the separate group names. Have you read over the NI TDMS File Format, Introduction to LabVIEW TDM Streaming VIs, and Writing TDM and TDMS files articles? Have you tried any examples out of the Example Finder?

Sorry if I'm missing the obvious here, but I see no way of applying different product classification updates to different groups of PCs either through WSUS or through GPOs.
Originally in my environment we had one WSUS policy which my predecessor had rolled into the Default Domain Policy. In an effort to get away from this, and also to manage which types of updates get applied to which systems (critical and security updates
for some, and all updates to others) I created two new GPOs: WSUS > All Updates and WSUS > Selective Updates.
However, in configuring the GPOs I realized there is no way to designate the types of updates that are/aren't approved. So I went back to WSUS, and under the Options screen I opened 'Products and Classifications' and then switched to the 'Classifications'
tab. So here I can select/de-select individual update types, but there's no way for me to turn them on/off granularly. In other words, this seems to be a global setting.
So my question is this: How do I set up WSUS to automatically approve and install *only* security and critical updates for one group of systems, and automatically approve and install *all* updates for another group of systems? Do I need to use GPOs
in tandem with WSUS, or can WSUS do it on its own? Where would I go to configure something like this.
Sorry for the detail, but I'm really not seeing anything obvious anywhere and I can't believe I'd have to build a secondary WSUS server just to set up multiple classification groups.

That's because you don't. The WSUS server has one repository of updates, defined by Product Category, Update Classification, and Language. Updates are then targeted to computers by placing computers in a target group and approving an update for
that target group. All computers in the target group will evaluate each approved update, and if the update is installable, the computer will download and install the update.

So, all you really did here was declare two different WSUS Target Group(s). How you actually apply those GPOs to your client systems will determine which of either, or both, groups that a client system is a member of.

You create an Automatic Approval rule to approve Security Updates and Critical Updates for THAT GROUP. (e.g. the "Selective Updates" group).

You create an Automatic Approval rule to approve ALL update classifications for the "All Computers" group (note that you don't even need your "All Updates" group, you only need the "Selective Updates" group).
I will also take the moment here to severely warn you that approving ALL UPDATES for ALL COMPUTERS is a very dangerous thing to do, and frankly you don't even need a WSUS server to do that. Just enable Automatic Updates on the system and let 'em get their
updates from Microsoft directly and you'll have exactly the same behaviors with a lot less administrative overhead.

Auto provision different groups in oim 11g

While provisioning a user to AD, I need to add few different different groups based on the user's dept code.
We have around 250 dept codes and I dont want to create 250 access policies to provision different groups based on the dept code.
Is there any other way to resovle my issue?

Create a Lookup with codekey as Dept Code and Decode as Groups like
Dept1->Group1
Dept1->Group2
Dept1->Group3
Write a code which retrieves the groups for corresponding dept code from the lookp, and in the same code call addProcessFormChildData(under tcFormInstanceOperationsIntf) for each group retrieved from lookup. Attach this adpater to new process task and call this task on success of create user task.
