Directory service console not able to open in a Domain Controller

Hai,
I have a 2008 domain controller. when i open the users and computer console i get the below error
data from "domain name" is not available from domain controller because: the search filter cannot be recognized. try again later, or choose another DC by selecting connect to Domain controller on the domain context menu.
what could be the issue????Pls help

When you open ADUC on windows 2008, it is trying to connect DC which is not available due to connectivity issue or DNS issue, try to connect different DC using ADUC console and see if it works.
By default, DC should connect its own ADUC when type DSA.MSC in run, if it is connecting other DC, then there is issue with the existing DC.
Verify DNS resolution is working and also might rebooting resolves your issues.

Based on my research, this event ID 81 occurs if the account that the SQL Server agent runs as on the server with the Reporting database does not have permissions to
the collection database on the other server. This most frequently happens if the SQL Server agent is running as Local System.
If you are using an existing SQL Server computer for Client Security, you may not have the SQL Server Agent service using a domain user account.
For Client Security to work correctly, you must give permissions for the account under which the SQL Server Agent service runs on the reporting database to the collection database on the
management, collection, and reporting servers.
In addition, the event ID 10002 is usually due to the installation of Client Security not being fully configured.

Not able to open Enterprise dba console in 10g after changing the system ip

Hi Guys,
I have installed 10g database on windows 2003 server.
I was able to open the Enterprise manager DB console(EM) after installation. But I changed the IP address of the system and now I m not able to open the Enterprise manager.
Any help will be much appriciated in this regard.

I have created a new domain and started the weblogic server.Its in running mode, but not able to open http://<host>:7001/em
the error is as follows..

I have checked in weblogic console. there in the "Deployments" tab , em.ear is in failed state.i tried to update(redeploy) it to adminserver, but im getting the following error....

Please provide some inputs.

stopping and starting em application from AdminConsole-> Deployments did the trick.

Not able to open Admin Tool in OBIEE 10.1.3.1 after the installation

After installing OBIEE (10.1.3.4.1 in Windows) i am not able to open Admin tool,when i click on the Administration it doesnt respond and i dont see any error message either.i have installed 10.1.3.1 several times before and i never faced this type of issue.I re-installed 4- 5 times and overwritten the existing s/w but still see the same issue.I am able to start the services and default RPD is working fine but not able to open the RPD and also i am able to launch the Catalog Manager.
I searched online but it didn't help me,please share if anyone has faced the similar issue before and found the resolution.

Not able to open existing process chains in BW development

Hello Experts,
I am not able to open my existing process chains in development, actually I would like to schedule the process chain but I couldnt do that becoz of above reason. While opneing I am getting pop-up message as " Choose a change request with target system/CONSOL/". I reported this issue to Basis but they told it is not an issue at all

For the time being you can create a transport, but indicate that it shouldn't be transported.
Then you will be able to work with the process chain.
Just be sure to delete the transport so it doesn't get moved to production on accident.

Urgent:: Not able to open/lauch forms session

Hi All,
I had cloned our production instance to create a new instance.
But now I'm not able to open the form session. We are having apps 11.5.10.2.
The dbc file is perfect.. I even checked ICX parameters & related profile values.. seems to be ok..
I can login through /dev60cgi/f60cgi. But can not lauch forms from personal home page.
Can anyone plz suggect wht might be wrong?

I'm not getting any sort of error.. It just dont proceed after clicking the menus.. Even I try to check the error from java console, but even no errors are listed in it..
Moreover , I m getting successful AOLjtest run on the cloned instance.

If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.

Not able to open Database Engine

Hi all,
I am facing issue while trying to access the database engine of my SQL Server 2012 instance. It say login faile with error code "18456".
In order to give user the login rights in to Database We must open the database engine which in my case I am not able to open the database engine. Analysis Services is opening fine.
Can you please help me how to fix this issue so that I can open the Database Engine and view the contents of the database.
My 'sa' account is also not enabled so that I can use the SQL authentication and then open it then give the user login right.
Please help me with this. As I do not think installing the sql server 2012 from scratch is the solution, there must be some way.If the user has issue in accessing the Database Engine.

Just make sure when you are trying Olaf's link before doing anything please disable SQL Server agent other wise moment you put server is single user mode agent will make a connection and you would not be able to make connection then.

Maybe there is no authorization for you to write the file onto the app.server.
Check with basis about your authorizations.
Or could be the directory does not exist.

Hi,
The error could be because
1) The URL referenced from RWB (Communictaion Channel) is incorrect.
        Try accesing the link directly http://HOST:JAVAPORT/mdt/channelmonitorservlet
If you are able to open the window with out nay error, it means you url referenced from SLD is wrong. Correct your SLD and update the cache.
2) If you are not able to access above URL, it means the java service is not running to accept your request, check in visual admin if any of the services are stopped. Try restarting the same.

Please tell me a bit more--are you using Adobe Send (or Adobe SendNow) to send your files? How are your recipients trying to open the files (on an iPad, or laptop, for example)? Do your recipients get an error when they try to open the files?
