Okay, bear with me because this is a strange one that I cannot figure out. Back story:
I have had a Droid X for over a year now, and my wife upgraded to her previous phone (Bold 2) on 4/6/2010. I am the primary on our Nationwide 700min family plan. My last annual upgrade date came around late Feb or early March this year, and I didn't really care about upgrading at the time, but my wife wanted an iPhone before her next upgrade date came around (which was 4/6/2012), so I gave her my annual upgrade and she got her iPhone.
Now a few weeks ago, her line passed the 2yr upgrade date (4/6/2012) and I had been eyeing a Galaxy Nexus, but the price wasn't jiving with me. Once her upgrade came around, I checked last night to see how much it would cost to use her upgrade to get the Galaxy Nexus, and in My Verizon when I clicked "Upgrade Phone", the Nexus was listed at $250. I thought this was strange that a $299 phone was listed at ~$250, so I figured she had an NE2 upgrade still attached to her account. Now I just find out that secondary accounts do not get NE2 discounts...so I'm trying to figure out where this $50 discount came from.
The reason I want to know where this discount came from is because now that they dropped the price of the Nexus today to $199, when I click the "Upgrade Phone" link, suddenly there is no more $50 discount and I'm left with the regular price of $199.
Was there a discount which magically disappeared between last night at 11PM and today at 4PM? Or was the $50 off the price of the Nexus just a glitch? What is going on??

Sometimes there are online discounts that you only get if you order online - that may have been the case with the price you saw on the Galaxy Nexus. When it was $299, you got an extra $50 when ordering online. Now that it's dropped even more, to $199, the online discount is no longer applied, so it's $199 whether you order in a store or online.
You are right that secondary lines do not get the NE2; now that you have used your last annual upgrade for the wife's iPhone, there is no more NE2, and no real distinction between primary and secondary.

Loyalty discount disappeared in the past two weeks?

My contract is coming to an end and I started looking into upgrading our phones a couple of weeks ago. Since my contract was initiated before Verizon decided to do away with the loyalty discount I still had the $50 loyality discount to use for the upgrade.... or so I thought. When I looked today the discount was gone! I chatted with an online agent, who was no help at all. Could not tell me when or why the discount was removed. I have not been notified by Verizon of any changes in my contract terms, and when I look at my upgrade eligibility it states "You are eligible to upgrade with discounted pricing. If you upgrade on or after 08/05/2012 you will be eligible to receive an additional loyalty discount." However there is no additional loyalty discount to be found anywhere any longer. Has anyone else run into the same issue?

Student discount has disappeared

I have always paid for spotify at half price (in the UK) by using my NUS extra card. The card is still in date and I'm still a student but I have started being charged full price subscription again. There is no option to change my payment details and add the student card and when I go to the student subscription page it redirects me as I am 'not eligible for this discount'? Doesn't seem to make sense to me. Want to go back to paying half price without cancelling my subscription and restarting it again if possible.

The student discount lasts one year before it expires. After it expires you should be able to renew it from the student discount page.

Student Discount suddenly disappeared?

I've been using Spotify Premium with a student discount for months now. April's bill charged me full price for Spotify Premium. I've gone back to the Student Discount page, gone back through the process and now Spotify is showing me that my price is back the discounted price. Am I supposed to go through this student verification process every so often? Why didn't I get a notification that my price would be increasing? Is it possible to get the discount reimbursed for April?

Student Discount Disappeared

I've been using Spotify Premium with a student discount for about a year but this month I was charged full price. I am still a full time student, so I dont understand why I don't have discount anymore and why I wasn't notified when this was going to happen and if I can be reimbursed for this months extra payment?

Hi Pete, Im having the same problem. Twice Ive been charged full price and did not recover the funds back (I am a student and was charged 9.99 then 4.99 the next day in april. I wasnt charged the next month, but I paid for three months. Now, it charged me 9.99 again, three months later, but I am still a student. Can you please help me get all of this situated? As a student, you might be able to get Office for Mac from the college bookstore at a substantial discount. Otherwise, I think your best option for documents that need to be shared with Office users is to get one of the free Office clones such as LibreOffice.

Where did my AEBS go??? AEBS disappears from AirPort Utility

I have set up my new AirPort Base Station using the Airport Utility but once it is setup it disappears from the utility. I am able to use the AEBS as an ethernet router for my mini HOWEVER my secondary MacBook is only able to "find" the wireless signal periodically. It is not a distance problem since the two computers and the routers are in the same small bedroom!
Any suggestions to improve performance? Reliability? I am beginning to think that I was better off with my not so fast Airport Extreme. . .

Thanks for the quick response! I will not discount the idea that I made a mistake in the setup but I have not duplicated any of the names or passwords in the setup.
I also thought that maybe there could have been that type of issue so I reset the AEBS and used the Airport Utility to set up the router again (it seems like whenever I setup a router at home it takes at least two tries before I get all the steps right. . . so it was not a big deal).
After completing Airport Utility on my mini everything looked great, then without any action on my part the AEBS DISAPPEARED from Airport Utility!!! It makes sense to me that if the utility cannot see the AEBS then the MacBook is going to have problems too. . .
Any other plans of action? My partner, the MacBook user, is voting for taking the **** thing back even though I am really liking the much faster ethernet connection. . .

Internal RAID Drives Disappeared from Desktop & Finder

A few days ago, one of my two internal mirrored RAID sets no longer showed on the desktop or in the Finder Sidebar. A day later, the other internal RAID set disappeared from desktop and sidebar. The two remaining internal non-RAID drives show up as do two external drives. All internal and external hard drives still show under Disk Utility and Photoshop Bridge CS3.
I checked Finder Preferences and boxes are checked to show internal and external drives on the desktop and sidebar. I looked at the drive detail under Disk Utility and nothing looks wrong with the two RAID sets ON-LINE. I unmounted one RAID set and re-mounted without any change. I tried unchecking the two preference boxes to not show the drives and rebooted, rechecking the boxes and rebooting and nothing changed on the desktop or sidebar.
Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve this?

Well our invisible drives problem is resolved but it's not the solution that I'd hoped for.
We visited the Genius Bar at a local Apple store and they denied any knowledge of problems with invisible drives in Macs and discounted my reports from Mac forums.
I went home and ordered a new 1tb Seagate drive. When it arrived, I installed it in bay 2, copied each invisible drive to the new drive one-at-a-time, broke my two sets of internal mirrored drives, erased all the affected drives and reloaded them. Now all drives are visible on the Desktop and Finder again.
I'm hoping that the disappearing drive problem doesn't surface again but view this as an unresolved Apple issue. Now I can look at other mass storage options for future growth.

Condition Type Amount field is disappearing in Quotation when scroll down & scroll up is done

I am getting a strange issue in the Quotation.
When i change the Contract Validity Period value in the Header section, a custom discount condition type will appear in the Conditions Tab. But the issue comes when i scroll down and scroll up the screen in Condition tab the amount value is disappearing. I debugged almost the whole functionality but still not able to get where the issue is happening.
Any help on this regard is highly appreciated:)

Calendars to List for more than 12 months? With advanced selection the Listing will go back farther than 12 months but will then disappear!

How do you get Ical to List for more than 12 months on your Ipad? I have used Advanced settings which accomplish this but the Listing disappear overnight!

I was charged £75 last month for broadband, calls, and TV - we have unlimited so cannot be charged any extra, and have never used the phone.
It's shocking - we too were 'enticed' by a discount, which really didn't mean anything...

Employee Discount (from the company you work for, not Verizon employee)

When trying to pre-order or now order an iPhone 4s while logged in to our account we get a message:
"Employee Discounts will not be applied to this order, do you want to proceed?"
If you say no then you exit, if you say yes then sure enough the voice, text, and data plans all are full price and do not show our normal discounts. Order any other phone on a new line and they appear, order an old iPhone and they appear, but not on a 4s or the new 8gb 4. I am not going to check with a 2 year contract showing a full price per month.
If I try via the company link over at AT&T you could pre-order / order and get the company discount. I have not checked Sprint.
I was not expecting a discount on the phone, we never got those on any iPhone or many of the top 'droid models. I was expecting to keep the discount on the monthly voice and data dollars as we have been getting for years.
Is this an error or perhaps the discounts are going to return after the launch excitement dies down?

This same message existed during the Feb upgrades. If you search the forum you should be able to find these concerns. I upgraded and the same warning popped up. I have a 20% data discount and 16% voice discount. My discount did not disappear. Are you changing your plan during the order? If not, then changes to your account aren't being made. If you are changing to a global plan then it's possible the discounts don't apply to that (not sure if they exclude global plans) but otherwise, the discount on data and voice remains. Call CS and ask for a supervisor to get them to give you an answer so that you can be more at ease.

Does Apple discount existing MacBooks when the new ones come out?

I haven't bought a Mac in over 10 years and I don't how Apple does business. I want a new MacBook Pro, but I'm not in a super-rush. I can wait another three months, if necessary.
The current MacBook Pro (top of the line) is more than sufficient for me, it's just a little expensive. I certainly don't need whatever's coming next, but the current 17" is mighty attractive.
When Apple releases the new MacBook Pro's ... (1st quarter 2010, right?) ... do the existing high-end 2009 models usually sell at a big discount to get rid of the current inventory? You know ... (like car guys say) ... blowing out last years models to make room for the 2010's?

There is no "blow-out sale" when the new models come out, at least through Apple. Apple generally keeps a very tight inventory (only a few days worth evidently) on hand, so when new models are about to be released, they are pretty low on inventory of the existing model. In fact, when new models are up for sale through Apple, the older ones disappear from their website/stores.
Some 3rd party resellers may have discounts on older models, but they too are usually not of the "huge sale" type. A 10% discount is usually pretty generous.
Other options are to buy a refurbished machine through Apple's website (cheapest option), or if you're a student, faculty, or staff member of an academic institution, take advantage of the student discount (also around 10%)

My New Every 2 disappeared from VZW computers when they were correcting upgrade to replacement

I have been a long time Verizon customer who has had New Every 2 ever since I started about 10 years or so ago. I used to have the old Western States calling plan which I switched to Nationwide 450 min plan 2 years ago when I changed to a Smartphone.
I got my $100 New Every 2 discount fine on that phone. Now I hear it went down to $50. But mine has disappeared from Verizon records (except for notes) apparently as part of their mixup when I replaced the defective smartphone (HTC Touch Pro 2). It was approved about 8 mo into my contract, but I was having trouble deciding what to replace it with (plus I was sick for several months so my brain wasn't into thinking about that). Before the year was up, I called the VZW rep who had agreed to the replacement (it was working but the backlight wouldn't always come on--sometimes I had to keep pressing it multiple times, as well as other issues). I asked specifically if I had to do the replacement prior to the year being up. He said no, it had been agreed to so I didn't have to actually do it before the end of the year.
So I didn't. That led to multiple problems when I finally did replace it. Every step of the way, VZW was treating it as an upgrade rather than a replacement of the defective device. They kept wanting to start a new 2 yr contract, etc & I kept telling them, no it was a replacement. Wasted a lot of my time having to go over that each time I talked to a person. & finally, after i had adamantly refused to agree to a new 2 yr contract they said ok, but then I got a new 2 yr contract. Ok, another call & they backed that out.
But the upgrade date was Dec 2012 instead of 2011 as it should have been. Another call. Finally they fixed that, but in so doing, rather than restore back to the original contract, they had me on mo to mo starting at the time of the replacement. & somehow in all that, the New Every 2 discount disappeared from the contract.
So I am just now upgrading--just got my new iPhone 4S which I trust will actually be a reliable smart phone for a change--but since the New Every 2 wasn't in the computer but just in the notes, I wasn't given the discount on the price, but she did give me a credit for that amount.
OK, now i'm concerned about next time. Is New Every 2 still available for those who have had it long term?
& how can I get it back in my contract, rather than just in the notes, so next time I don't have to go through all this again?
my previous phone had been a basic flip phone which just worked so I kept it for about 5 yrs before upgrading to the smart phone. I intended to keep it for several years, not expecting to have such defective WinMob phones. The replacement was a downgrade with less features & it has freezes & the alarms (which I count on) don't work well. I know smart phones are more complicated, but still. With 2 yr contracts it would be nice to have devices that actually last & work well for 2 years rather than having to have 2 devices, both of which have had issues during the 2 yr contract.
I trust the iPhone 4S will not only be a very useful & fun phone, but also a reliable one for a change, that I will keep for a while. But I am concerned about the status of New Every 2.
& now, soon I'm off to get my new iPhone 4S set up & activated at the Apple store.

I actually just got off the phone with Verizon and thoroughly confused the Verizon Rep because he has never had that question asked before! He finally "tested" the new phone's activation status to see if the phone has been activated to my account, and he said it had (even though it is not actually associated with my number), and I can do what I want with the phone- store it, use it, let someone else use it, and not worry about the 30 day policy biting me in the b*tt with a huge charge of the phone's retail price!
Phew! I like it when it doesn't take weeks to get an answer (have had MANY hours on the phone with Verizon regarding diff. issues, and am always worried that problems and questions will take way too much time to answer).

Several "Big in Japan" titles disappeared, literally delisted.

Hi guys, i just wanted to report that several titles in the latest discounts, have magically disappeared from the Store, like they've been delisted, or it's just impossible to buy them, as they have an entry in the Store, but no way to purchase them. The list includes Nights Into Dreams, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Ground Zeroes, Earth Defense Force 2025, Ni No Kuni, among others. Please fix it before the 7th, when the sales expire.

This had me quite worried, there was at least 3 titles I was going to buy which suddenly vanished, Catherine, Shadow of the Collossus and... Something else but I forgot what. I was worried the problem was on my end but an relieved to know I'm not alone, I hope they all go back up before the sale ends because I would love to get at least one.

Pallet Discount

We have a requirement where condition type--ZKP3 --Pallet Discount(Percentage condition) should work in such a way that customers are encouraged to buy goods in FULL Pallets & if they are buying in FULL pallets ,this pallet discount should be given to Customers.
Now if a user is maintaing a condition record in VK11 for ZKP3 (e.g. 10% Pallet Discount for 2 PAL(UOM)), then UOM disappears as it is a percentage discount & not a Quantity discount.)
So to correct this we have advised to maintain scales in condition record but its not working for Full pallets as per the requirement ..It is also giving discounts for 2.5 pallets but this way it is not required.
1 PAL=25 SU.
So in order e.g. 55 SU are there , it is now giving discount for 55 SU and not for 50 As desired.
Secondly for Full Pallet discounts routine 22 should be there in ALtCBV but because of this routine 22 ,it was not calculating decimal values(e.g. for 205.56 it was considering discount for 205 only & ignoring .56).
So we removed routine 22 from ALtCBV.
Please advice ,how to get this (Pallet Discount) -percentage condition work correctly to give Full pallet discount to customers , so that customers should be encouraged to buy in Full quantity.
