Discoverer: Layout of crosstable (colour & font)
Hi,
1. I'm looking for a solution to change this green-gray colour oracle is alwayse using eg in crosstables. All other cells colours can be changed but not this one - and it looks ugly in the portal...
2. my reports or crosstabs are in a small font size (8 or smaller). But if I load them as a portlet in the portal, the SHWON size changed to eg 12, columns dont fit anymore etc. I wonder if I have to minimize the font in D-Plus to 4 or smaller to get a nice LOF in Portal or is there another solution?
P.S. One assumption is that Portal is restricted to a minimum font eg to 10. Is this correct?
Thanks :-)
You can make some adjustments with code in userChrome.css
I use code like this for that toolbar area to add borders to the toolbar and also adjust the height.<br />
I use the Tango icon pack to get some colors on the toolbar icons.
<pre><nowiki>/* toolbar (menu/nav) height */
#navigator-toolbox toolbar {max-height:26px!important;border-bottom:1px solid ThreeDShadow!important;-moz-appearance:none!important;padding-bottom:2px!important}
#navigator-toolbox menupopup menu, #navigator-toolbox menupopup menuitem {height:14px!important;font-size:12px!important}
#navigator-toolbox toolbarseparator {margin:0 -4px !important}
#toolbar-menubar {border-top:1px solid ThreeDShadow!important}</nowiki></pre>
Add code to userChrome.css below the default @namespace line.

Page Layout mode: canvas colour
Is it possible to change the canvas colour in Page Layout mode?
AndyAndy,
As with Word Processing Mode, you can place a colored Shape in the background to give the appearance of a colored canvas. There is no canvas color option per se.

Discoverer List of worksheets portlet font size
Does anyone know how to resize the text size in the discoverer list of worksheets portlet. We have 2 servers which are supposed to be identical but on one server the portlet text is displayed in a larger size. I have tried changing the font size in the style but it has no affect.
Thanks for any help.Natali,
So I understand this correctly: You can't open the worksheets from Portal as the users that has the ability to use them in Discoverer? If the connector uses a common identity (database user) that has permissions, I would suggest that you verify a these things...
Make sure that the Portlet is setup with the worksheets selected that you want to see. I have seen it where you can see the workbook, but no worksheets because the workbook worksheets were not selected and the portlet is setup to "select worksheets" type is selected with no sheets selected.
Make sure that your Portlet is using the connector that you manaully choose when you use Plus or Viewer.
Verify that you are sharing the workbook's worksheets with the users you have setup in the connector.
Are you using VPD for anything?

Change colour font for active line in clearing transaction
Hello,
Our system is SAP ECC 6.0 with SAP GUI 710. When the signature design is activated, we have a problem of colour contrast between active/desactive lines in the transaction for clearing document (F-32 for example) : the active line is in dark blue and the inactive is in black. So it is difficult for several users to clearly see the difference between the active/desactive lines and they must choose the previous design (Enjoy or classic design). In fact, in classical desing is the active/desactive line in red/black or in the enjoy in Electrical bleu/black.
I will add that it is not possible to change the colour theme in the design options in our configuration (perhaps is something missing ?).
Does someone know if there is a possibility to change the colour policy ?
I thank you in advance for your help.

Discoverer Layout Configuration
Greetings!
I'm starting to work with OracleBI Discoverer IAS and I must try out some of its features, in order to suit the company's needs and improve the work done so far.
One of the details that is required to change is the report's info displayed in Discoverer Viewer: the parameters are always shown on top of the table! Is there any way to have this option always colapsed when the page is loaded.. or even to avoid it from appearing at all???
I will be glad if you could help me!
Thanks in advance,
Ricardo PintoHallo,
I have the same problem. I want that the paramters are collapsed by default when then the report page is shown.
Has anyone some ideas or hints? (Worksheet.uix, etc...)
I have reports with a lot of parameters that are important but the default should be that the parameters area should be collapes.
Thx for any hint, Willi -
V8.1 -- how to modify the colour/font, resize, disable attribs of all class
Hi,
I tried to follow the instruction in the Help section, i.e. by selecting multiple items while keeping CTRL or SHIFT pressed, and then do it by right clicking etc.
I am able to do all these changes for individual classes, but that's a pain. I'd like to have a way to do it for all classes in one go. Any way to do so ?
thanks,
bdSorry for the inconvenience but currently there's global settings for changing the color/font as well as hiding attribute compartments for classes. Each class has to be changed individually for certain properties for now, eg showing/hiding attribute/operation compartment. Other properties can be changed for multiple selected elements, eg, color/font, resize, etc. through the popup menu. Popup menu Edit->Set Dimension can be used to change the size of multiple selected classes. Class->Font | Font Color | Background Color | Border Color can be applied to multiple selected classes.
I think we already have issue filed on this, which we'll be redesigning our preferences in the next release (NB6.0). -
Pixelated coloured fonts ...
I put a blue text layer (the name of the shown person)
on top of a clip, but unfortunately the text is blurred and pixelated
at the edge.
I built it in FCP and in BORIS.
If I change the colour to black or white, the edges are fine!
Does anyone have an idea, how the get a sharp edge on a blue text?Sorry, wrong forum!

Input text field displays U.S. keyboard layout
Hi,
I've got a Flash Player 9 / AS3 animation which has a input
text field where a user enters their email address.
Now my PC is setup to use the UK keyboard layout so when I
click the buttons Shift+@ then I get the @ symbol displayed.
But for some reason the moment I try typing in the @ symbol
(using Shift+@ keys) then up pops the " symbol which is a U.S.
keyboard layout if I'm not mistaken?
And so checking this, if I use the Shift+number 2(") key then
I get the @ symbol (which again is a U.S. keyboard layout if I'm
not mistaken?).
Obviously I can't expect my UK users to know this and so need
to work out how to change the keyboard layout for the text input
fields so when I click the shortcut buttons Shift+@ I should see
the @ symbol appear.
Hope that all makes sense.
Any help is greatly appreciated as this is a live project
that the client is racing to get fixed.
Many thanks and kind regards,
MarkHi,
I have found some other weird things happening regarding this
issue which are very odd?
To recap....
If I type into the search bar at the top of this page Shift+@
then I get the correct character displayed which is @ (so my
keyboard is definitely UK layout).
If I create a new Flash movie with nothing but a text field
set to INPUT and type Shift+@ then again I get the correct
character!
But if I type Shift+@ into my Flash movie I get the wrong
character " appear!?
I then checked both text fields and found there were
absolutely no differences (except for colour/font size), so I
copied the new text field into my Flash movie and the moment I
played my Flash movie the new text field (which was working) then
started doing the same and displaying the wrong character???
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Kind regards,
Mark -
Problems with coloured background in Dreamweaver CS6
Hi,
Probably best if I attach images rather than describe the problem, so that's what I'll do.
As you can see there is a grey bar to the side of the page and it is the same at the bottom when I zoom out. I'm making this website as part of my Uni course and I have to follow a specific template so, please, don't judge me on what it looks like... lol.
The code for the background section looks like this:
body {
background-color: #CC9966;
background-repeat: repeat-y;
I have also coloured the footer.
#footer {
colours for text within the
footer division, ie <p id="footer">
color: #2D2D2D;
background-color: #CC9966;
So what do I have to change to make the colour fill the background entirely? I'm an amateur so please don't use too much technical language. I'm sure it's a simple fix, anyway.
Thanks a lot.WHAT IS THIS FILE?

Thanks for the reply.
In this I am using the FM 'CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF'. I have checked the settings from SPAD that is also same in both servers for particular output device. But the patches are diffrennt in both the servers, the server from which layout is not coming properly having the high level patches in compare to the other server(which is working fine). -
I am so not happy with the new changes especially when it come to the ability to change background colours, fonts and font sizes/ colours... Does Apple really think that their only audience is the young cool crowd or people who do not have a visual impairment. Think before you make changes to your software and programs. You WILL lose more people to androids if you continue this way.
At least give users the ability to make apps like notes their owned by allowing them to pick the style, theme, background and colour, font size and colour.
A very ****** off Apple user who is now looking at Androids.Hi Tricia,
I'm sorry but I don't see an ideal way to do this. Is it the yellow label text, e.g: "New" against the white background which is causing the difficulty?
The only way I've found of getting the colors to change in Notes is via Settings>General>Accessibility>Invert Colors but then it looks like something has barfed all over your screen.
I'd be very, very surprised if Apple do not fix this, firstly because I believe "Accessibility" is a legal matter and secondly because they will not want to cause difficulty for their customers. We have to remember that this is a major, major overhaul of iOS, it has essentially been taken back to the drawing board and done from scratch again, it may take a little time, but I'm sure they will fix these issues.

When you create a new form and don't change the font in the Layout Editor the font is left as <Unspecified> in the property palette even though the Layout Editor shows the font as Microsoft Sans Serif.
What is the font that Forms uses when the font is set to <Unspecified> in the property palette?I thk it is MsSanserif

Hi,
I saw a tip for changing text attributes across multiple Text layers by linking them, then holding shift on any one of the linked layers to apply the attributes (colour, font, size) to all.
However this doesn't work for me in CS6, and was wondering if it's outdated? It would be a great way of making quick changes without having to search every layer and making sure each one is selected.
Many thanksWith Photoshop CC, try this:
Link your layers.
Then when you want to change all the color at the same time, right-click one of the linked layers and choose Select Linked Layers.
Voila, now they're all selected together and you can change the color.
