Displaying Album Usage/Sharing Metadata

I know this has been asked before, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to display in the Metadata Inspector tab, which albums might contain a selected image. The reason I ask has to do with posting images to Facebook for example.  Working with a project containing many images, I selected a number of them to be published to Facebook.  Essentially this creates an "album" containing these images. At a later date, I might want to add additional images from this project to the Facebook album. Looking at all the images in the project, there is no way of knowing if a certain image has already been published or not.  I know you can use the Sharing Metadata View in the inspector which tells you if a selected image has been shared or not.  This works only for the Facebook "Album" or other published albums.  There is no corresponding way to know if a selected image is in any other type of album by using the metadata inspector. I know you can filter the images by using the Aperture metadata field "album name" with any of a number of conditions, which does provide the information.  However, as far as I can know, you can't display the Aperture metadata field "album name" in the metadata inspector. Am I understanding this correctly?
Thanks!!

  • Uninformative Sharing Metadata

For some images the Sharing Metadata is not very helpful and often says things like "This photo has been shared with multiple services" while for others I see an upload date for each service and album. Why the difference. It may be that these are images uploaded prior to 3.1; all my recent uploads seem to have the more informative form. Does anyone else see this difference? Is there a way to fix it (other than re-uploading)?

No, images that were in the web albums prior to 3.1 have rudimentary info. Images only downloaded after using 3.1 also get a brief blurb. Images that were published from your library with 3.1 get the new goodness.

  • Display memory usage-help for parameters

    hi everyone ,
i want to display the memory usage(shared memory+heap) while compiling the t code in foot path,
plz help me for this issue

    Hey Arun,
    RZ20 SAP CCMS Monitor Templates->Performance Overview->Memory Management
You can see all the information which you are looking for.
But to make it web enabled you need to call some BAPI through java and store it DB. If you have any Java programmer let me know I will send you the list of BAPI.
Use the DB data and draw a graph. Using that data you can study the performance over a period and start tuning your system.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Where is the 'display album art on my iPod' option?

I only use my iPod in the car, so I don't exactly need album artwork on it. iTunes used to have an option to display (or not display) album art on the iPod. What happened to that option? My iPod is a classic, so it has a hard drive, and I'm getting tired of the constant disk access whenever it wants to display album artwork. I would prefer to get rid of it altogether.
I don't want to delete the artwork itself, because I also listen to music with my AppleTV at home. I just don't need the artwork *on my iPod*. How can I rig it so the iPod won't display the artwork anymore?

never mind, I found out that the option no longer exists:

I've decided that the easiest thing to do now would be to NOT display album artwork on my iPod. How do I set my iPod to NOT display album art? I've checked the User manual and that doesn't help.

Why don't you, instead of taking time to do that, just backup, and then restore your iPod?
    Just a suggestion..

  • ITunes will no longer display Album Artwork

I recenly had my computer cleand and afterwards iTunes will not display album artwork. The artwork is still on my iPod but not on my computer. It displays a messages "iTunes is unable to display album covers on this computer". It all worked fine before my computer was cleaned out. Any ideas?

when you open the sync option go to pictures and make sure all of them are checked

  • Images in wwv_flow_file_objects$  do not display in the shared components

Recently I needed to re-create an APEX workspace. The schema was intact, so I just created a new APEX workspace mapped to that schema and re-imported my apps.
All was well EXCEPT that the images and files (e.g. style sheets) previously uploaded to the database under the original workspace were missing. Looking at the wwv_flow_file_objects$ table I saw the images and files were present but their security ID did not match that of the new APEX workspace.
I updated the security ID and the files and images now work BUT THEY DO NOT DISPLAY IN THE SHARED COMPONENT LISTINGS. My fear is that I'll try to upload an image or file by the same name and they'll stop working because there will then be two rows in wwv_flow_file_objects$ with the same file name and security ID.
Does anyone know how to get these items to display properly in the shared component reports?

If they were application-specific, you would need to ensure that the new flow_id value in the table matched that of the application to which the file should be associated. If not, that value should be zero.

  • Doesn't display album covers for individually selected songs.  Why?

I just synced up my new iPod Classic and am surprised that it doesn't display album covers when I individually select songs or when it shuffles songs. The artwork is there - it displays them in Cover Flow or when I select songs from the Album list, but not when I select songs from the Song list or when it shuffles.  Why not?  Is there a setting I need to fix?

    You're adding the artwork incorrectly.
Instead of selecting the first track of the album, select the complete album. Then select File/Get Info and answer "yes" to the "multpile items" question. The Artwork box is now on the Info tab instead of its own tab. Paste the artwork into that one box and that will add it to the whole album.
I can't be precise about the detail, but as far as I know, there will be one piece of artwork and iTunes and your iPod will refer to that one picture for each track, so it will not be taking up extra storage space.
Pasting the artwork into each track individually will drive you crazy - and I suspect it will take up extra space.
(If fellow "discussions user" tt2 adds to this post, I'm pretty sure he will confirm {or not if I'm wrong} what I've said about the extra space used if you paste into each track individually.)

  • Where's Display Album Artwork option? It's missing

I've read the document, I know where it's supposed to be...but it's not there.
My friend is having issues with her iPod Touch displaying incorrect artwork on her iPod, even though it shows correctly in iTunes. I told her to unsync the artwork then resync it. We connected her iPod, selected it under Devices, clicked on the Music tab....but the option to Display Album Artwork on iPod just isn't there.
    Any ideas? She's running 7.5 on a G5.

There is no option for the ipod touch to not sync artwork, it just does, you can't turn it on or off. If you are having problems with artwork mismatched, the thing to do is to turn off music syncing all together, sync the ipod, so all the music is erased from it. Then turn music syncing back on and let it resync. Make sure you have your music still in itunes or backed up before you erase it from the ipod, it will erase it.

  • What happen to display album art?

This is going out to APPL! I'm a coder, been one for 30+ years! Put back the display album art! It can't be that hard! I know you dudes can do a classic view or something like that.
    Michael B's two cents

Can you be more specific?  Album artwork is still available in iTunes 12, though the UI operations to do so have changed a little.  As shown below:
    Click on the Playlists button
Select a Playlist (or the complete library)
Select Albums from the dropdown at the top right of the screen
Are you seeing something different?  iTunes 12 has also changed how you set/update/delete artwork for albums, groups of songs or individual songs - there are several threads covering this in detail ... since the iTunes 12 behavior seems to be a distinct backward step in terms of usability, there is at least the option to SHIFT-right-click > Get Info to bring up the old-style dialog where the previous functionality for handling artwork is available as it was in earlier releases.
BTW, you are not reaching Apple here - this is a forum for iTunes users.  If you have specific bug reports or enhancement requests you can submit them to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html.

  • Cover Flow: is it possible not to display albums without artwork?

    Hi all,
I was wondering if there is a way in cover flow view not to display albums (album names) that do not have art work.
    Thanks,
    D.

Not as far as I know.
But I expect you know you can get artwork from other sources if the iTunes store doesn't have it. I tend to copy and paste from Amazon.

  • 160gb ipod classic won't display album artwork...sometimes

I have a 160GB iPod Classic (version 2.0.4 PC), and ran into a strange problem regarding displaying album artwork. Here's what I can describe:
--> When browsing through albums, any albums that have been added to my iPod or had their info changed since a certain time (not sure of the exact date but I believe it to be July 2013) do not display artwork.
--> If these albums are played, one song from the album will not display artwork, but all the rest will. I can't detect any set pattern as to which song won't display artwork once I update it, but I'm sure there's some pattern.
--> All the album artwork is displayed on Cover Flow and on iTunes, but not in these places.
--> It doesn't matter whether I downloaded the artwork directly through iTunes (i.e. clicked "Get Album Artwork") or put in artwork from a file on my computer, this happens literally every single time.

Probably, the easiest way to resolve this is to copy the artwork from one song on an album and paste it into every song on that album.
In your iTunes Library, choose an album that has artwork issues; choose one track that has the artwork and copy it. Then:
the slightly longer method is to check each song individually, until you find the one with the missing artwork. Paste (the copy previously made) from one of the other tracks on the album.
a slightly quicker method is to highlight all the songs on that album (make sure it is just that one album) and paste the artwork into the box.
Sync the iPod with your iTunes Library.

  • I have a similar question to the one Brendan posted a day or two ago. My wife's MacBook Pro will find my library for home sharing, but my ACER will not even display the home sharing icon. Home sharing on, latest version on iTunes.

I want to get some music from my wife's MacBook Pro via Home Sharing. We both have Home Sharing turned on. Her's displays the Home Sharing icon, and recognizes my library. My ACER will not display the Home Sharing icon, and I cannot access her library. I have verified I have the latest version of iTunes, I have turned Home Sharing off and on again, and still no icon.

  • Please Help:I Can't Display Album Artwork!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took the display album art check away because I couldn't see the album artwork. I then checked it back on and it still won't show the album artwork. It says ERORR (-50). Can anyone tell me how to fic this???-Thanks, Ray
30 GB Video iPod!   Windows XP
      Windows XP

I had a problem where the incorrect album art was displaying once in a while. I used the 'fix' of disabling the art and then re-enabling it. I got the same (-50) error, and ended up with most of the art disappearing (I guess because it bombed out of the process).
I ended up using the iPod updater to do a restore which blew away everything and set it back to a clean unit. I then re-synced everything from iTunes (after re-enabling the album art) and all was sweet - haven't noticed another problem with the album art since doing this.
