Distribution List not displaying user in Outlook

Hi All,
Running Exchange 2010 with SP3.
I have a user that when added to a distribution list only appear in the distribution list using ADUC or Exchange Management Console but in outlook 2013 if I expand the distribution list are not present
but will receive the email as long as the distribution group is not expanded.
Does that make sense?  Any ideas?

Good to know. Please mark your response as an answer and or any others
that helped you solve your problem.

  • Some e-mails not displayed in MS Outlook 11

    From late April to now (July) 2014, a number of messages received by my ISP (cox) were not displayed by MS Outlook. My ISP tells me that their server settings are correct, and that this problem is due to recent changes in MS Outlook. The e-mail omissions
    seem completely random; there is no correlation with sender or format. How can I fix this?

    Hi,
    What is the account type anyway? IMAP or POP?
    Let's start Outlook with the switch "/cleanviews", which restores the default view, and all custom views you have created will be lost:
    Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /cleanviews" in the blank box, press Enter.
    This can make emails re-appear if they didn't appear due to the custom view.

  • CUC 8.5 users in outlook distribution list not receiving voice mails

    Hi Support Community,
    Good Day ..
    We have Cisco Unity Connection 8.5 in our site. It is configured to send voice mails to end users through Outlook Exchange 2010. There is a pilot number which is used by a group. So voice mails to this number needs to be forwarded to all the people in the group . To meet this requirement we had two options. One was to forward the mails to a distribution list  and the second was to send the voice mail to an inbox from where it had to be forwarded to the users in the group. The first one didnt work becos the unity is unable to access the mail box becos the distribution list doesnt have one. In the second option the mail is getting delivered to the main inbox but it is not getting forwarded to the users.It works fine for all other emails. If we manually forward the emails from unity it works. Sharing the inbox wont work here becos the users wont be able to access it via Blackberry.
    Could you please advise me on this issue. Thank in advance.

    You were on the right track with your first scenario with an Exchange distribution list. Instead of using the Single Inbox feature you can just create a mailbox and set the Message Action to Relay. In that configuration CUC will just SMTP relay the message over to an Exchange address.
    As for forwarding messages within an individual Exchange mailbox: It seems to be an Exchange architectual consiquence. CUC posts the message directly to the mailbox through EWS. This seems to be exempt from mailbox rules.

  • Expand (deploy) distribution lists not working Outlook 2013 + Outlook Mac 15.9

    I try to figure out how to expand (deploy) the distribution lists in both Outlook 2013 (Windows) and Outlook for Mac 15 (Apple). Actually it's extremely weird because it work randomly... We mainly uses Outlook for Mac 15.9 in the Office and some people (only
    a few ones) actually see a blue down-pointing arrow in from of the Distribution Lists when they are it to the "TO" field in Outlook for Mac 15.9. Then if they click on it, the list are deploying and been replaced by employees in the list. On Outlook
    2013 for Windows, there's NO WAY to get the small "+" sign in front of the distribution list... FYI, the same person who can deploy on Outlook for Mac 15, can't deploy on Outlook 2013 for Windows.
    I already eliminate a lack of permission somewhere in my Exchange Online manager, because I am the "owner" of distribution list and I can't expand (deploy) it anyway in Outlook 2013 and I tried to promote somewhere else as the "owner" and
    it doesn't make him/her able to expand any more.
    FYI I created few distribution lists in my Exchange Online admin into the "GROUP" section, they are all Dynamics Distribution Lists and as I told you, some people can deploy (well, 99.9% of peoples CAN'T deploy lists, but a few CAN do it, 0.01% of
    employees).
    I checked carefully in the distribution list settings on Exchange Online admin portal, but there's not much settings I can change...
    The point is I MUST get the deploy feature to work with the distribution list because SEVERAL TIMES a week administration teams need to send email to all employees but while excluding a few of them, so they need to be able to deploy the dynamic list, then remove
    manually the 2-3 peoples from the recipients list. As you can see on my screenshot, there's a few people where the blue arrows are working (Outlook for Mac 15.9)...

    Hi,
    Please follow these steps: -
    If
    RoomFinderShow = 0 under registry path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Preferences
    The Room Finder behaves the following ways when you start Outlook: -
    The Room Finder is not shown by default on the
    Appointment tab.
    You can manually enable the Room Finder on the
    Appointment tab.
    If you open a new meeting from after enabling the Room Finder in another meeting room, the Room Finder is not shown by default on the
    Appointment tab of the new meeting form.
    If you manually enables and then disable the Room Finder on the
    Appointment tab, nothing is written into the registry.
    When you have the required update installed and
    RoomFinderForceDisabled=1, Outlook will not display the Room Finder pane on either the Scheduling Assistant tab or the Appointment tab in a meeting form.

  • Intel MacBooks not displaying users list from WGM

    Hello folks,
    I have a situation where all my Intel iMacs connect to my OD server fine, pulls down the WGM user lists and logs in fine. However I also have about 8 Intel MacBooks that are meant to connect wirelessly to this same server. For some reason I can not figure the MacBooks, connect fine, I can even bind them but they do not display the users list. I thought maybe the wireless connection may have something to do with it, so I plugged them directly into the data cable and still no luck. I ensured that on the local machine the user account is set to display as a list. I have created the computer list in WGM for the MacBooks, all to no avail. I have been scouring the forums but no breakthrough yet. Any ideas from anyone will be greatly appreciated.
    G5 Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    The list of users is a plist file and should be at at /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow.plist on the clients. See this thread for more information:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=2368769&#2368769
    If you've got a good plist from a client that sees the right users, you should be able to copy it over. If not, try backing up the file from one client and then deleting it and restarting.

  • Security report SEC_LIST_MBR is not displaying users list

    Hi,
    When we run security report SEC_LIST_MBR. It is not displaying list of users instead it is just displaying user id who ran the report all other columns Full Name, Teams, Task Profile and Member access are blank.
    Please suggest what is causing it not to display list of users.
    In database we loaded the following page  http://ReportServer/reports and ran report SEC_LIST_MBR. It also gave same result - one row with user id data only.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

    We found the root cause it was because table "task" does not have records in APPSERVER Database.
    Once we updated task table. Security report SEC_LIST_MBR is displaying results correctly.

    Rajesh

  • How to sync changes in user-created distributions lists when used by multiple Outlook users

    Hi all,
    Thanks for looking at my post. We are using Outlook exchange and Outlook 2010.
    I have created a distribution list that is comprised of 20 members (students) with email addresses outside our organisation. I have sent this list to others in my workteam (Lecturers) and they have added the list to their own contacts group - we
    share this list as we all email the same students for different reasons.
    My issue arises when a student needs to be deleted from the distribution list and I am the first person to find out about it. Ideally, I would like to take the student off and have this distribution list automatically update for the other lecturers instead
    of having to re-send the list to them after it has been edited. As it stands at the moment, each lecturer has to go into the distribution list I originally sent to them to delete the student.
    There has to be an easier way to sync the changes that each lecturer makes to this list.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance
    Sharyn

    You can place the group in a shared Contacts folder so everyone will see the same group.
    Depending on your Exchange infrastructure and working habits, this could be a folder in your mailbox, a Public Folder, Shared Mailbox or even a SharePoint List.

  • Distribution List Not Showing in GAL

    Using the Exchange Management Console in 2007 I created a new Distribution List and added some users to it.   It is showing up under All Address Lists > All Groups.  But it is not showing up under the Global Address List.
    How can I get it to show up under the GAL?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    Please try below steps :
     following command in the Exchange Management Shell.
    Get-GlobalAddressList | Format-List Name,*RecipientFilter*,ExchangeVersion
    This command lists detailed information on the Global Address Book.  To view information on all of the other address books on your Exchange 2007 server issue the following command:
    Get-AddressList | Format-List Name,*RecipientFilter*,ExchangeVersion
    Both of the above commands will display the following Address Book attributes:
    Name
    RecipientFilter
    LdapRecipientFilter
    LastUpdatedRecipientFilter
    RecipientFilterApplied
    RecipientFilterType
    ExchangeVersion
    If the RecipientFilterType is set to Legacy that means that the Address book has not been upgraded to the Exchange 2007 format.
    Below is the command that I ran to correct this issue:
    Set-GlobalAddressList "Default Global Address List" -RecipientFilter {(Alias -ne $null -and (ObjectClass -eq 'user' -or ObjectClass -eq 'contact' -or ObjectClass -eq 'msExchSystemMailbox' -or ObjectClass -eq 'msExchDynamicDistributionList' -or ObjectClass -eq
    'group' -or ObjectClass -eq 'publicFolder'))}
    While all of our other Address Books had been upgraded, you will need to ensure that you upgrade all of the Address Books on your Exchange 2007 server.

  • HTML Form Not Displaying Correctly in Outlook 2010 (Exchange 2013)

    Hello,
    I have recently migrated to Exchange 2013. Clients are still using Outlook 2010. There is an application that automatically sends an HTML form by email for the users to fill in. The form consists of radio buttons, text areas and drop down list. However,
    in Outlook 2010, the form is not rendered properly.
    When I clicked the "If there are problems with how this message is displayed, click here to view it in a web browser" link, the email is opened in
    IE and the form is displayed correctly.
    I also tried opening the same email in other clients, such as Thunderbird, Apple Mail Client and in mobile phones - the form is displayed correctly. I wonder
    why it fails to do so in Outlook 2010. The user mentioned that this does not happen in Outlook 2003 and prior to migration (I used Exchange 2010 previously). I have also tried using OWA, but the form does not display correctly
    Any help?
    Note: I can't attach any images or links as it is mentioned that my account is not verified yet. I will post some screenshots when it is possible to do so

    Hi
    Outlook 2007 or newer use Microsoft Word for their HTML engine.
    You can refer this page http://www.campaignmonitor.com/css/ shows
    many things that do not work in different clients.I think Someone needs to re-code
    the HTML form to make it work in the current versions of Outlook. You can try formatting with text and HTML and see the results.

  • Dynamic Distribution List not working!

    H all,
    I have been struggling with Dynamic DLs...
    I have a domain with 3 sub-domains. Only some users on my top domain have mailboxes on exchange (we use another primary email system) and all users on the sub-domains are added to Exchange as Mail contacts and Mailusers.
    So the idea is to create a DL for all users on each site. I want to be able to send email to all users on a particular office.
    So, following the TechNet articles I do:
    [PS] C:\Windows\system32>New-DynamicDistributionGroup "Test1" -RecipientFilter {(RecipientType -eq 'MailUser') -and (Office -eq 'Office2')}
    All users have the Office field filled.
    The DL appears on my ECP. Now to see what members the list has (should pull all members with "Office2" on AD) I do:
    $members = Get-DynamicDistributionGroup -Identity "Test1"
    [PS] C:\Windows\system32>Get-Recipient -RecipientPreviewFilter $members.RecipientFilter | select Displayname,PrimarySmtp
    Address
    When I press return, it just returns (nada, nothing, nicles):
    [PS] C:\Windows\system32>
    On other Distribution lists, it works...
    For this particular location I converted the mailcontacts to mailusers because I was having problems on sending emails to this DL. Basically the email was purely not sent but it didn't return any error message.. just discarded. If I run a message tracking
    on ECP all I can see is: "Delivery report information for this message is no longer available."

    Hi,
    This would help you... Add RecipientContainer with the full domain name where recipients are and check...
    RecipientContainer
    Optional
    Microsoft.Exchange.Configuration.Tasks.OrganizationalUnitIdParameter
    The RecipientContainer parameter filters the recipients used to build the dynamic distribution group based on their location in Active Directory. The value of theRecipientContainer parameter
    can be the canonical name of an organizational unit (OU) or a domain. If you don't specify a value for the RecipientContainerparameter, the cmdlet will default to use the local container. This location is specified by using the OrganizationalUnit parameter.

    Get Your Exchange Powershell Tip of the Day from here
    Still doesn't work!
    I have done:
    [PS] C:\Windows\system32>New-DynamicDistributionGroup "Test3"-recipientcontainer "subdomain.domain.local" -RecipientFilter {((R
    ecipientType -eq 'MailUser') -and (Office -eq Office2))}
    Creates the DL, but no members...

  • List not displaying all items

    I have several lists that are dynamically populated with data
    depending on what they selected in the previous list. So the user
    clicks on the first list and the database is queried and the
    results eventually become the dataprovider for the second list and
    so on for the rest of the lists. I have this working, but there are
    some items that are not displayed properly. I have blank spaces in
    my lists. If i debug and select one of the empty spaces and look at
    the selectedItem I can see what is supposed to be in the list, and
    if i restore the size of my window then maximize it all items are
    displayed properly. I am thinking that i need to redraw my list at
    some point, but I am not sure how to do that. Does anyone have any
    ideas? Thank you in advance, Michael

    I'm having very similar problems with List as well. I assign
    an ArrayCollection as the dataprovider and some of the labels show
    up and some don't. As I scroll up and down the list different rows
    will disappear and re-appear. When I debug the data is all there.
    I've run into the same problem using other people's code as
    well.
    Seems like some sort of redraw problem, but this doesn't make
    sense to me and I don't know what to do to fix it.

  • Dynamic Select List not displaying correct value

    Hi there!
    I have a page with a dynamic repeat region.
    As I press one record I get up all the details based on id on an edit page.
    The problem is that the info that is inserted via a Select List is not displaying correct on edit page.
    All the other values are correct, also the values in the repeat region on index page,
    but the value from the Select List on edit page is just displaying the initially selected item.
    Have tried using SELECT DISTINCT in the SQL statement, but no luck.
    Any other ideas?
    Cut and paste from form:
    <select name="Vegtype" class="ProvDet" id="Vegtype" title="<%=(rsAs.Fields.Item("VegType").Value)%>">
                        <option value="Ev" selected="selected">Ev</option>

                        <option value="Kv">Kv</option>
                      </select>
    Recordset
    <%
    Dim rsAs
    Dim rsAs_cmd
    Dim rsAs_numRows

    rsAs_cmd.Prepared = true

    Ok, here goes the top down approach...
    In the HTML header of my page, i have this reference to a js file containing the javascript - <script src="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#108.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    Then in an HTML Region I have the following code to create the divs that will be shown and hidden - <div id="divREGION" class="divs">Select region to get list of countries.</div>
    <div id="divCOUNTRY" class="divs">Select country to get list of cities.</div>
    <div id="divCITY" class="divs">Select city and then press "Get Employees". </div>
    Note that these divs contain static content. You may be able to create dynamic content for these divs by creating dynamic query regions and putting div tags around the region (i havent tried this, it may require template modification).
    The select boxes have this code in the "HTML form elements attributes" - onFocus="javascript:showHideDiv(this,true)" onBlur="javascript:showHideDiv(this,false)"
    This onFocus and onBlur call the showHideDiv() function, passing in the object reference of the select box and a true/false to show/hide the related div.
    The actual javascript function that is contained in the 108.js file is:
    function showHideDiv(objThis, inBool){
         var divid = "div" + objThis.id.substring(3);
         if (inBool) {
         ShowDiv(divid);
         else {
    HideDiv(divid);
    That function in turn calls either the ShowDiv() or HideDiv() functions, depending on the true or false, passing in the ID of the div to be changed...
    function ShowDiv(divid){
         eval('document.all'+ '["' + divid + '"]' + '.style' +'.display = "inline"');
    function HideDiv(divid){
         eval('document.all'+ '["' + divid + '"]' + '.style' +'.display = "none"');
    Hope this helps.

  • Application Page list not displaying.

    Application page list does not display when clicking on the application in application builder page. However if I type the application number and a valid page number in the URL I can access the application. All the pages work as well as the page editing.

    Scott,
    Well..it was the same issue as the Thistler..I replied to his posting and thought the threading would show that I was responding to his post. Anyway, it's okay.
    I solved the problem. By flushing the shared_pool (alter system flush shared_pool;) Application Express now shows the Application Builder page.
    The problem was that after logging in with a developer or administrator userid into the Apex 3.1.2.00.02 environment, clicking the Application Builder Icon resulted in a page not found error. However, you still could go directly to an application home page in the edit mode?(I don't really know how to describe it, it's the next page after selecting the application icon.)
    the Metalink NOTE:469934.1 describes what to do to fix this, and it did solve my problem.
    Thanks for your help

  • Address Book "Edit Distribution List" not working in Lion 10.7.2

    I have been told by people in my "Groups" that I am sending to the wrong e-mail addresses.  I checked and sure enough so I went to edit the distribution list for that group and it's greyed out. It worked prior to this update. My wifes is still using 10.7.1 and edit didtribution list is not greyed out.....anyone having the same issue or any ideas where it is now or how to re-enable it....or is it just broken?  Also I am contented into iCloud.

    To add to my original post.... My wifes OS was 10.7.1 and I just finished the update to 10.7.2 and signed into iCloud.  I first transfered iCal but left Address Book.  When I went into Address Book and checked the Distribution List it was not greyed out.  Next I transfered Address Book to iCloud and checked Dist List and it was greyed out.  Next I removed Address Book from iCloud (leaving a copy of it on the computer), restarted AB and checked to see if DL was still greyed and it was not.  So no fixes here but if you want the functionality of the DL you could turn off Address Book in iCloud temp until they come up with a fix.  Important: if you turn off Address Book from iCloud be sure to leave a copy on your puter and of course before doing any of this make a Archive Backup of Address Book.  I guess at this point it'll just be a waiting game until a fix comes out.  Cheers, Neil

  • Distribution list blocking accepted user

    I have a master distribution list that only has a select few users on it, however one of them is being blocked - They're getting the "'[email protected]' Your message can't be delivered because delivery to this address is restricted." error.
    They are a member of a group which is clearly in the allowed users field.
    Any ideas?

    Hello,
    Did you mean you check Message Delivery Restrictions for distribution group, and a member of a group is in the allowed users field?
    Please use get-transportrule cmdlet to check if there is related transport rule.
