Do BO consultants ned have programming knowledge on BI ?

Can anyone plz suggest me that is necessary for a BO consultant to have programming knowledge(ABAP) on BI.

Hey RP,
BO consultant has nothing to with ABAP programming, it will be only the added advantage for you incase of explaining the logic in ECC side when you directly getting the data from ECC it will helpful or in BI side explaining the logic in BEx qiery level to write the CMOD exits.
If you really interested to learn ABAP, it will be always helpful for you in future.

5.Is it necessary for BO consultant to have all credential access( for BI Development in SAP Easy Access Menu) of what the BI consultants have and do it. : Not mandatory
6. are BI and BO consultants interdependent on each other if source is SAP BI for dashboards : Sometimes if requirement is complex (BO & BI data doesn't matches ,then sometimes customer exit variables might create in BI not able to replicate , some times complex calculation created in BI Using some bex query Function's)

1. MDM has no coding in it. However, we can use ABAP or Java API's etc, for additonal functionalites. But for MDM, no coding is required.
2. MDM is basically a configuration based tool. There is a lot of modeling which is done according to the requirement.We have 4 GUis' namely Console, Import Manager,Data manager and Syndicator. We can get them installed and access the MDM server via them.
3. MDM is a hot cake in the market right now as companies are thinking of moving into ESOA and for that MDM will be the base of it as you need to have clean Master data to achieve ESOA.

Ranendra.Not the entire tool has the programming scope, In SAP BI you still need ABAP programming to write routine & customer exits in the background to achieve some logic.
When it comes to Business Objects you require the basic of programming or scripting or sql querying in webi and crystal reports.
So it all depends on your logic and the data-flow you use, hope this clarifies.

I hope there are lot of oppurtunities for .net people also in the market.Anyway if you want to shift to ABAP, as atechnical guy you first get into ABAP.If you have domain knowledge then you can choose any of the Modules likes SD,MM,...AS an ABAPEr you should not stick to a particular module.

ITunes installation error: does not have program associated with it for performing this action
Repeated tries to install iTunes continues to fail. Installing on Acer laptop using Windows 7.
Error: does not have program associated with it for performing this action
We have done the following: open Default programs, clicked associate a file type, clicked on change program button and selected a program to open with and clicked OK/enter.
The installation continues. we get to the finish window; click finish.
Next error: iTunes has been installed incorrectly.
So, what do we do to get iTunes working?

I need advise and help with this problem .
First , I have been with Mac for many years ( 14 to be exact ) I do have some knowledge and understanding of Apple product .
At the present time I'm having lots of problems with the router so I was looking in to some info , and come across one web site regarding : port forwarding , IP addresses .
In my frustration , amongst lots of open web pages tutorials and other useless information , I come across innocent looking link and software to installed called Genieo , which suppose to help with any router .
Software ask for permission to install , and about 30 % in , my instinct was telling me , there is something not right . I stop installation . Delete everything , look for any
trace in Spotlight , Library . Nothing could be find .
Now , every time I open Safari , Firefox or Chrome , it will open in my home page , but when I start looking for something in steed of Google page , there is
''search.genieo.com'' page acting like a Google . I try again to get raid of this but I can not find solution .
With more research , again using genieo.com search eng. there is lots of articles and warnings . From that I learn do not use uninstall software , because doing this will install more things where it come from.
I do have AppleCare support but its to late to phone them , so maybe there some people with knowledge , how to get this of my computer

I have programmed my Iphone to automatically connect to confcalls (dialing the nbr, pausing, dialing the PIN code).
Works fine from the Iphone as such.
When I connect my Iphone in Bluetooth to the voice-driven system in my car (Mercedes C), only the phone number appears to be transmitted. Entering a conference call number via the Iphone while driving is not a good idea.
How can I fix this ?That *****. I sell electronics on ebay. Before listing them, i have to test and clean them. I have worked with microsoft Zune, you could sync via wireless through the network to your host computer.
i was hoping Apple would add that feature or the ability to connect to my computer via WiFi or Bluetooth and sync it wirelessly... It would be sweet to have the bluetooth and wireless opened up so you can do more than just connect to headphones or a headset...
I upgraded to the iPhone 4 this past december, i am on replacement # 2 or my 3rd iPhone 4... I was hoping for some upgrades in quality. Also being left handed, it seemed to drop many calls and give me very poor reception. i added a Griffin Elan Form Graphie case that covers all but the front, top button, bottom speakers and volume control buttons and the call and reception quality has improved. But I sure would have loved to see some improvements in the quality and function of the phone...

I have programmed iCal and Address book to sync via MobileMe. The info I type in iCal on the MacBook Pro get updated on the iPad, but not the other way around. Any hints?
Levi G B ... Also found another thread by Davidfromsurfside on 10/14/11 0703A with the same problem. I responded on his thread "I have the same problem. IOS5 on iPad1, iPad2 and iPhone4S all with iCloud on. Lion 10.7.2 installed on my MacBookPro and iCloud set up/on. Any new iCal entry on either iPad or on the iPhone ends up via iCloud on both iPads and iPhone. BUT NOT ON THE MacBookPro. And iCal entry on the MacBookPro does NOT GET SENT to iCloud.com or to either iPad or the iPhone. This is a huge problem for me because I do all my office scheduling on the iPad or iPhone but rely on the MakeBookPro to print out daily client lists. I REALLY need to get this fixed...it is causing major business issues. " No one so far has had a fix.... :(

The throughput that is response time should be very quick. DSS and Datawere housing queries take time there is no need to be quick response.
Amount of data growth in any transaction table in future will be major factor which can affect the performance of the application. So while application design this need to be considered.
Proper indexing should be maintained. Proper purging system ( i.e moving old data into history tables) should be maintained. -

I cannot install an update on Photoshop 11 because it says I have programs running that must be closed. I have no programs running and I have restarted my computer twice and am unable to install this update. Also, I need the update because the tutorial for 11 shows a completely different screen than I have on my version of 11. Please advise.
Garbage which operating system are you using? Have you tried using the Task Manager/Activity Monitor to close the offending application/process?

But nothing is open all are shutdown and I dont know is this a problem with the Mac or the software ?Is Preview open? Copy/paste the following into Terminal in Utilities and hit return. Look through the output, which may give you a clue as to what is open.
