Do every Premium/authorized reseller in Indonesia provide educational price for student?

Hello guys.. I'm a student in Indonesia, and want to buy macbook pro 13" i7.
I look at the website and I found educational price for student, then I tried to call and asked apple premium resellers and authorized resellers in Surabaya about that program.. However, most of them told me that they do not have educational price for student..
How to find premium resellers / authorized resellers who provide educational price in Indonesia?? and what are the required documents I should show to the store in order to get student price??
Thank you very much..

I can not order online because it is said "not available online". Thats why I only could ask almost all authorized and premium apple reseller stores in my city at surabaya, both they said that they did not have any educational discount..
(I am a college student)

    There are no upgrades for Student and Teacher Editions. You can continue to use the version you are using, or you can buy CS6 with no special upgrade price, or subscribe to Creative Cloud. However, I believe if you still qualify, you're offered a discount on Creative Cloud.

    II'm not aware of any comprehensive list. However you can get the education price at any Apple store or online by showing proof that you are an enrolled student.

  • Is Adobe planning to provide educational licenses for Flash Builder too?

    My Flex license is not working at all Sad student is sad.

    When Flash Builder 4 is released, we will be having educational license for it as well. Are you trying to enter your educational license into Flash Builder 4? Your license is probably specific to Flex Builder 3, however, we'll soon be posting to this site how you can extend your FB 4 trial using your FB 3 license.

  • Problem with 'Authorized Reseller' how do I complain to Verizon?

    I have had a horrible experience with my local "Verizon Authorized Reseller".  We have been with Verizon for a CRAZY amount of time - well over a decade at least, and have generally used the corporate stores wherever possible.  Affiliate retailers however have so branded themselves as "Verizon" it is almost impossible to tell they are not!
    So here is my horror story.  We were grandfathered in to the old "Unlimited Data" plan from years gone by - and when Verizon stopped offering that plan a couple of years ago we wanted to be *absolutely certain* that we protected that unlimited data plan with our current contract.  Issue #1 - Last December, my wife and I upgraded from the Casio Commando to the latest Galaxy S3 (mainly for the better camera since we had a baby on the way).  We noticed a Verizon store around the corner so went there for the phones.
    The first clue should have been that the upgrade credits we had didn't apply, so it would be cheaper for us to purchase new Galaxy S3 phones and add them to our plan (a 3rd and 4th line) and then transfer the numbers over to the new devices.  The OLD data device numbers should be transferred to old dumb flip phones that we had to avoid "unnecessary data plan charges".  Ok, kinda convoluted and some mental gymnastics but I *think* I understand.  I was *VERY* clear however - "Do not screw up my Unlimited data plan"  I was told flat out that it was "NOT AT ALL POSSIBLE IN ANY WAY" to upgrade my devices and maintain my existing unlimited data plan.  I was more than a little upset - frustrated - but it was clear from the associate that the new Verizon policy was to eliminate any existing Unlimited Data plans so they were simply being phased out as devices were replaced.  I *seriously* considered moving my business to Sprint at this point because of their unlimited data plan - the associate told me though that Sprint was doing the same thing, it just wasn't advertised.
    Ok, so we went ahead with the phones - got the "best possible" plan for our usage and sucked the bitter pill of losing my unlimited data.  Fast forward 5 months, My eldest daughter turned 11 and for her birthday we activated one of our 'old' Casio Commando phones for her use.  Back to the same affiliate provider (Bullfrog Wireless in Phoenix BTW - NEVER EVER do business with them) - This should be simple right - take one of those EXTRA lines that we had to pay for to buy our Galaxy S3 - and assign it to one of our OLD devices - pay the extra Data package for that phone and it's on our "Share Everything" plan....ok until I got the first bill...
    That ISN'T what they did - and I had an EXTRA $100 in TEXTING charges!!!  He never added that phone to the texting plan or somehow else screwed it up.  I had to call Verizon support (*611) to sort it out.  Now Verizon was very gracious, and retroactively fixed the contract, (taking the additional money that WOULD have been paid if we were on the proper plan) and refunded some of the overage.  Then informed me that we were on "The most expensive plan for our actual usage"...  So then I got pretty fed up with Bullfrog Wireless in Phoenix (never use them BTW) and vowed to find my closest "CORPORATE" store which is in Chandler, a scant 6 miles from my house.
    Enter the latest ****-off (I'm sure you can see it coming)  With the announced release of the new Casio Commando 4G LTE (C881) I wanted to look at it and see what my upgrade options were, so I went to the Corp store in Chandler and spoke with a very nice man - who explained the process and alluded: "...if you have Unlimited Data for example we want to preserve that"  -- ***??!?!?  I thought 'Unlimited Data' was phased out and "there was no possible way" to keep it!!
    He must have seen my face and said something like "Ohh...you had unlimited data and dealt with an affiliated provider huh?"  I nodded ... "...and they switched you over to a share everything plan huh?"   ...again a dumbfounded nod.
    Moral of the story - NEVER EVER Deal with an "Authorized Reseller" for Verizon - ESPECIALLY BULLFROG WIRELESS IN PHOENIX/TEMPE/MESA...
    I don't know for a fact, but I believe it is because they are incented on "New Activations" and device sales.  If you have something simple to accomplish, they will find the most expensive way to do it because that is where they get their money.
    Right NOW - I'm pretty ticked about it - I lost my unlimited Data Plan FOREVER - (It was the main thing keeping me with Verizon).  I want to know the process to complain to Verizon Corporate about this specific Authorized Reseller so they can review their agreement with that vendor.  They FLAT OUT LIED to me about my plan options and it seems obvious that this behavior is almost expected by Verizon from their authorized resellers.  It would be *REALLY* nice if Verizon reinstated my Unlimited Data Plan again out of an abundance of customer service - but I won't hold my breath.....
    What's the number to Sprint again....1-866-866-7509

    You know I never use a reseller just the corporate stores. However if you upgraded at verizon stores and took any sort of subsidy for those new devices, you lose the unlimited. If you paid full price for the new devices you would have needed a data plan is as much you did not know this or maybe not read that verizon was doing away with unlimited if you did not pay full price. it was all over the net and the news.
    You say you had unlimited, however unless it was totally explained to you about the ways to lose it I would say that reseller was either devious, or simply uninformed. What ever reason you believe is totally up to you.
    You could write a stinging letter via US Postal Service with return receipt requested to verizon corporate the address should be at their web site http://www.verizonwireless.com under "Contact Us"
    Good Luck

  • Is it true that it will take an Apple Authorized reseller 7-10 days to replace my Magsafe recharger covered by applecare  and cannot give me ones available in their shop because they have to send the order to Singapore? Is that not really poor service?

    HI, I have a question. I bought my macbook pro along with applecare + which expires in 2013. I bought it in Melboune Australia, however I am currently on a business trip in Pakistan. My Magsafe recharger went bust (not charging at all and leaking oil). Called Apple Australia and spoke to a very helpful service rep. After verification, he told me to take the magsafe to the Apple Authorized reseller in Lahore (Raffles - gave the sellers address and numbers) and they will replace it with a new one immediatley. He also gave me a case number.
    Went to the Authorized reseller with macbook and magsafe and gave them the case number along with details about the problem. He told me after an hour of "researching and asking questions" that he will have to send the replacement request to Singapore and it will take atleast 7-10 business days for me to get back a new charger. I asked him why he could not give me the charger which he had on display and in stock at the shop. He said that mine will only be sent by Singapore and it will take that long (was quite rude and uncoperativel!!!!). Are'nt apple authorized resellers here in Lahore Pakistan bound by the same service standards as those in Australia. Maybe apple should really look into who they select as their authorized resellers and the kind of service they are providing to customers! Very Very Dissapointed with the service.
    Now I have a major work presentation, and I wanted to find out if this 7-10 business days timeframe is correct as apple servic rep told me it would happen straight away as he had already lodged a case whereas this Apple Authorized reseller is saying 7-10 working days, even when he has the product in stock at the shop!???
    Any help/knowledge about someone else who has faced this issue would be appreciated.

    AAR's are independent distributors, very rarely have a inventory and have to order everything from Apple on a per need basis.
    You would likely get faster response waiting on hold with Apple for three hours and having the new magsafe overnight shipped, or going to a Apple Store and exchanging the Magsafe/buy a new one while waiting for the old one to be replaced.
    It's the sad fate of things unfortunately, but likely this has to do with AAR's only making a tiny profit on new hardware sales, them giving you a new Magsafe doesn't make any profit for them, likely Apple doesn't have a reinbursment or takes forever to determine your Magsafe is defective and authorize a replacement cost reinbursement to the AAR.
    Think about it, if you were a AAR would you exchange a Magsafe knowing Apple could later determine  the defective Magsafe was caused by customer misuse (thus voiding the warrantly/AppleCare) not send you a dime?

  • Difference between Apple Authorized Reseller and Apple Authorized Repair?

    I'm looking to upgrade the hard drive in my MBP without voiding my warranty. I asked a local store if they were an authorized Apple repair facility and got back a reply saying that they are an Authorized Apple Reseller. Is there a difference? I've got a little more than a year left on my AppleCare Extended Warranty and don't want to do anything that might keep me from being covered in the future.
    Thanks for any insight.

    Resellers may not provide any warranty repair but this isn't universally true. The important concern is if the work is done by Apple Trained Technicians. Warranty work must be done by ATTs to avoid any concerns over voiding the warranty.
    An authorized repair facility may be any facility that has been certified by Apple to perform warranty (and non-warranty) repair on Apple products.
    For example Amazon.com is an authorized reseller but they do not provide any service (warranty or otherwise) on Apple computers. On the other hand Apple Stores have authorized repair facilities.

  • Purchasing from a military installation Authorized Reseller

    So I bought a iMac from an authorized reseller, the local PX (military store on post), in Dec 2012. The Apple store is an hour drive and the PX is a 5 min walk, I was thinking convenience, plus the price was right. Just a couple weeks ago my mouse went haywire and would no longer function. I stopped by the PX and asked the clerk what to do and I was told to take it to the Apple store for repairs. After making the journey, they politely informed me that my device was no longer under warranty?!? I produced my receipt and after looking it over I was informed that the warranty for Apple products sold through an authorized reseller begins on the day the RESELLER purchases the product. Although this didn't make any sense to me, the blue shirted Apple guy said there was only a couple things I could do: go back and resolve the issue with the Reseller or buy a new mouse. I did some online searching, but because my "warranty has expired" I can no longer talk to Applecare for free. the only thing I found was a site that allowed me to upload my receipt for verification upon which my account would supposely be updated, I sent that receipt once three weeks ago and again two weeks ago, neither of which has received any response. So I am writing mainly to warn future purchasers of Apple products to be forewarned that buying from an authorized reseller is a HUGE hassle if anything goes wrong and also to ask the users of these communities if they have any advice on how to get my mouse repaired... in hindsight I should have just bought the replacement mouse for $70 and saved myself the time and travel.... I expected more Apple....

    Unfortunately, that Apple policy has been in place for quite some time; if you buy from a reseller (especially if the product is not the "latest/brand new/just released" model), you need to register it with Apple to - in effect - change the start of the warranty. If the product has been sitting at the reseller for some time, Apple will want to see proof of purchase; after sending that, you would have been able to have your machine registered for the warranty beginning with your purchase date. I've had to do this a couple of times - it's a bit of a pain, but it works, and the warranty is then in place.
    As to your current situation, do try deggie's suggestion.

  • Is Apple warranty valid if NOT buying from an authorized reseller?

    If I buy a new, unregistered product that's NOT from an Apple-authorized reseller, is the 1 year warranty still valid? Can AppleCare still be purchased? Do I need some kind of receipt from the seller? I can't find anything on Apple's site that says I need a receipt or need to worry about authorized or not. I read the material Apple posted here:
    http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/
    http://www.apple.com/support/products/faqs.html

    Warranty is tied to the computer and not the purchaser so it really depends on how the MP was procured in the first place.
    If the seller got it from a wholesaler and hence, is considered to be at the retail level, then even though they are not specifically an Apple dealer it is considered a new purchase (assuming it's actually new) and you warranty starts at your time of purchase (sales receipt date).
    Now, if it's 2nd hand the warranty coverage is from the time the seller purchased it and will cover you until the corresponding warranty date.
    As long as the thing isn't stolen you're fine.

  • Macbook from an authorized reseller, won't accept returns

    Hello!
    I just bought my first Mac, and while I'm pretty happy with the little guy, I'm more than a little frustrated that one business day after my purchase, it's rendered obsolete and discontinued.
    I went back to the authorized reseller and tried to return it, but because it was open and non-defective, they won't take it back, and instead offered me an "in-store credit".
    I'd really love to get a Macbook Pro; the extra battery life, the fact that it's cheaper, and everything about it would make my switch to Mac that much nicer.
    Am I SOL? Does anyone have any advice on this? I'm trying to call Apple to see if they can do anything about this, but I'm not holding my breath.
    Thanks,
    -e-

    "I'm more than a little frustrated that one business day after my purchase, it's rendered obsolete and discontinued."
    It still does everything that you bought it for.
    "I went back to the authorized reseller and tried to return it, but because it was open and non-defective, they won't take it back, and instead offered me an 'in-store credit'."
    Excellent.
    "I'd really love to get a Macbook Pro; the extra battery life, the fact that it's cheaper, and everything about it would make my switch to Mac that much nicer."
    There's no known cure for buyer's remorse.
    "Am I SOL? Does anyone have any advice on this? I'm trying to call Apple to see if they can do anything about this, but I'm not holding my breath."
    Many people, perhaps you, don't buy from Apple directly because a Retailer offers something compelling, as an extra: more memory, or a T-shirt, as examples. The Retailers are not required to follow Apple's return policies, as you have found out - and that's the downside for not buying directly from Apple.

  • Is Amazon an authorized reseller? Partner page doesn't seem to say they are.

    I've read all over the forums that Amazon (not a third party, sold by Amazon) is an authorized reseller of Adobe but when I visit the Partners page, I don't see them listed as an online reseller. Are they or not?

    I remember looking this up ages ago and found Amazon listed amongst the authorized resellers. I don't know why they have been taken off the Partners page, but there is an Adobe KB article on software piracy which describes Amazon as an "accredited" reseller (quoted below).  Maybe there is some legal difference between "accredited" and "authorized"?  In any case, I personally would not hesitate to buy software from Amazon directly ("ships from and sold by Amazon") and I do so frequently.
    Amazon/Amazon Marketplace
    Amazon is a legitimate and accredited reseller for Adobe software.
    Individuals who sell Adobe products on Amazon Marketplace are not legitimate resellers. Do not confuse Amazon and Amazon Marketplace. The web pages for Amazon and Amazon Marketplace look similar. However, the presence of a seller name and an unusually low cost can indicate a purchase made on Amazon Marketplace.

  • Provide a class for authoring a simple letter.

    Provide a class for authoring a simple letter. In the constructor, supply the names of the sender and the recipient: public Letter(String from, String to) Supply a method public void addLine(String line) to add a line of text to the body of the letter. Supply a method public String getText() that returns the entire text of the letter. The text has the form:
    Dear recipient name :
    blank line
    first line of the body
    second line of the body
    last line of the body
    blank line
    Sincerely,
    blank line
    sender name
    Also supply a program LetterPrinter that prints this letter:
    Dear John:
    I am sorry we must part.
    I wish you all the best.
    Sincerely,
    Mary
    Construct an object of the Letter class and call addLine twice.
    Hints: (1) Use the concat method to form a longer string from two shorter strings. (2) The special string "\n" represents a new line. For example, the statement
    body = body.concat("Sincerely,").concat("\n");
    adds a line containing the string "Sincerely," to the body.
    Complete the following class in your solution:
    This class models a simple letter.
    public class Letter
    Constructs a letter with a given sender and recipient.
    @param from the sender
    @param to the recipient
    public Letter(String from, String to)
    Adds a line to the body of this letter.
    public void addLine(String line)
    Gets the text of this letter.
    public String getText()
    private String sender;
    private String recipient;
    private String body;
    }

    I've answered the question and I've gotten the right answer. However, when I uploaded in our online homewok (which calls WileyPlus, "Launch LabRat") it gives me and error because it's a machine not a human to correct my answer. So, I thought people here could help me to come up with some new codes that would actually work in the "Launch LabRat".
    Here's how I answered the problem (it works perfectly in the BlueJ, but "LabRat" fails the solution):
    This class models a simple letter.
    public class Letter
    Constructs a letter with a given sender and recipient.
    @param from the sender
    @param to the recipient
    public Letter(String from, String to)
    sender = from;
    recipient = to;
    text = text.concat("Dear ").concat( recipient).concat(":").concat("\n").concat("\n");
    Adds a line to the body of this letter.
    public void addLine(String line)
    text = text.concat(line).concat("\n");
    Gets the text of this letter.
    public String getText()
    text = text.concat("\n").concat("Sincerely, ").concat("\n").concat("\n").concat(sender);
    return text;
    private String sender;
    private String text = "";
    private String recipient;
    This is the Tester
    public class LetterTester
    public static void main(String[] args)
    Letter departure = new Letter("Mary", "John");
    departure.addLine("I am sorry we must part.");
    departure.addLine("I wish you all the best.");
    String departureLetter = departure.getText();
    System.out.println(departureLetter);
    }

  • How to Lodge a Formal Complaint against an Authorized Reseller

    Hi All,
    I just had a bad experience with an authorized reseller in Macau (details on the incidents will be added at a later, since I will be going back to the store today to try ratify the situation again), and would really want to make a formal complaint against its service (not the product). Is there anyway that I may formally contact Apple to express my frustration, since I could not find any link in the Apple website that direct me towards something close to a "complaint departments".
    Thanks in advance

    If you still feel that you need to contact Apple after your visit to the store, I would send a letter to Apple corporate headquarters (address in upper right corner):
    http://www.apple.com/contact/
    And, you might want to address the letter to the person listed here:
