Do I need a new product key for Crystal Reports XI Release 2?

Hi,
We have Crystal Reports XI and the associated product key. However, we have moved from .Net framework 2.0 and VS 2005. As a part of this upgrade we downloaded and installed Crystal Reports XI Release 2. It works fine in development mode, but when we try to install a web site with the CR XI Release 2 server it asks for a product key. When I enter the key we have it says the key is incorrect. Do we need a new key?

No you do not need a different keycode. The original msi file that shipped with XI release 2 did not accept XI keycodes, the updated one available off the website will.http://support.businessobjects.com/downloads/merge_modules.asp#06
Make sure you use the one ending in 2005.

Hi,
Unfortunately neither HP or Microsoft will have any record of your Product Key - but you can order a set of Recovery Discs from HP.
Order HP Recovery Discs.
Using these discs to reinstall windows will not require you to enter a Product Key - activation will be automatic.

Need To Find Product Key For Windows 8

It's my son's laptop and I bought it brand new in January 2013. It crashed two months later. I tried to get help through HP but to no avail. They told me to update the BIOS, which I did, and it worked for maybe a week and crashed again. I had a friend wipe it and start over twice after that because it just kept crashing. I then called HP, since it was still under warranty, to have them send me a new one since this one was obviously defective and the lady with whom I spoke said she would have someone call me back to help me. This never happened. I just gave up on it and bought another laptop in March 2013...the same exact brand, model, specs, etc. and have had absolutely NO problems with it since. I've since decided that it merely needs a new hard drive, which I am more than happy to purchase and install. It is the only thing my son has asked for as a Christmas present this year. The problem I have is that I don't have the product key for the OS. It came installed with Windows 8 and I have read through several other messages and understand that it is not something you can buy, however, I do believe, and feel that I am entititled, to have the product key so that I can properly fix my son's laptop. After all, it was a defective laptop/hard drive with which to begin and since HP support was actually of no support whatsoever HP should be willing to help with this situation. I have only ever used HP for desktops and laptops and have since 2001 and this is the first product I have purchased that was probelmatic.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Microsoft did away with OEM product key stickers starting on all PC's that come with W8.
The OEM product key is now encoded into the BIOS in order to prevent it being used on other PC's.
So, your notebook does have a product key.
You just can't read it and if you order recovery media for the specific model notebook, or use a Windows 8 OEM installation disk you won't need the key.
It will automatically enter itself during the installation.

I Need the Windows Product Key for my Laptop

I had to use my recovery disks and Microsoft was not able to validate the software online. When I called Microsoft support, I was told I needed the Product Key. When I looked under the bottom of my laptop, one of the numbers/letters is worn and hard to read. I was told to contact HP. When I attempted to do this on the website, I got a message that HP no longer services this laptop. I don't need service. I just need information. All of the HP product information was nicely sealed and secured. I don't understand why the same was not done for the Windows product key. Thanks.

Check everything to make sure all is working OK. I do not think it is necessary to reload the OS if everything is working. There are other ways to get it activated.

Have you downloaded & followed the SAP Crystal documentation for 8.8? There are a number of changes in how we need to do things.
Also, optional parameters do not work & neither to default values in parameters. These are still to be fixed

How cna I deactivate multiple CS products and get new activation keys for them?

I need to know how to deactivate all active installs of a given CS product and serial #, then get new activation keys for the same product. I realize this is a question only an Adobe rep can answer, but online chat is closed and the phone support line is completely useless, so I have to ask here.

you will not get or need a new activation key. your original one will still work for cs3 and later.

I want to borrow a Windows 7 install CD off my friend to make a windows partition on my

We have a license for Crystal Report XI. However we need Crystal Reports Release 2 since we are using .Net 2.0. I just tried installing the Crystal Reports Server on out test web server and it would not accept the license key we have. Do we need to get a new key?

Can I get product key for older versions of Illustrator with Creative Cloud Student and Teacher edition

I have purchased the Creative Cloud Student and Teacher edition and I now need to install illustrator on Windows Vista. All the new versions are not available for Vista. I have managed to find older versions for download but it is asking me for a product key. Is it possible to get the product keys for older version with Creative Cloud Student and Teacher edition?

You cannot purchase older versions of Adobe software thru Adobe. If you have a full subscription you can acquire the CS6 version thru that. I have had CS6 running on a Vista system for years without problems.

Why do I have to buy a new Product key if I have installed and uninstalled Elements to my computer do to system errors.

Why am I being penalized for having to purchase a new product key...it's only business and reputation at stake here....

adobe software is not free (beyond their 30day free trial). to use after the free trial, you need to purchase a license.
if you've already purchased a license, you should be able to use to install (or re-install) your software on the same computer and also on a different computer. you are limited to two concurrent activations but unlimited installations and activations over the product's (and your) lifetime.

WINDOWS PRODUCT KEY - for reinstalling WINDOWS

What if your computer comes with NO Windows Product Key sticker -- computer came new with Windows 7 preinstalled but, included Windows 8 installation discs - never needed a key & should've (in hindsight) made a boot repair disc - but, recently computer would NOT boot up - tried to repair it but, no luck -- SO, now if I want to reinstall Windows 7 will have to use an OEM but, need a Product Key for HP computers --- any time else you install Windows you are REQUIRED to enter your own Product Key # which is about 25 digits including letters, numbers & dashes ---------- I do have Windows 10 on another drive but, love Windows 7 -- Windows 10 is far better than 8 BUT, not as good as 7 I have looked all over my case for any WINDOWS sticker & inside too -- I have heard that laptops are usually under the battery but, for DESKTOPS will be stuck somewhere on the case & this does NOT have one -------------- it is just STUPID for HP to ship computers without a PRODUCT KEY as every other manufacturer does for this reason..THANKS

Uhm as far as I know Operating System of these unit didnt came with product keys, because operating system of this unit is from the manufacturer, And it was never been installed using standalone discs by hp. You might need to order recovery discs online on its support website. as far as I know. Hope you dont mind.

How to retrieve Microsoft Office Product Key for Mac

Hi there, Hopefully someone might have a suggestion on how to retrieve the Microsoft Office Product Key for Office 2010 on Mac.
Scenario: Last month, Apple advised me my iMac hard drive may be faulty and would need replacing. That was done, I restored my iMac from Timeline backup and everything is dandy except I need the Product Key for Office to access any of my documents. I purchased the product online in my old job, that email address is now no longer valid and I have lost access to the email that the product key was emailed to me in. I am unable to retrieve the product key from Microsoft without buying a new copy.
I do have Office uploaded on my Macbook Air from the same download/product key, so I have access to the program on the laptop but not the iMac. Hopefully I can get the product key from the laptop somehow.
Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks :-)
