Do you have any idea about iTunes major conflict?

I used to use itunes from early 2000. Since a year I use Windows 7/ ultimate 32bit and I see that most of the menus of itunes are not working properly.
In particular, File,Edit.... Help doesn't appear on the screen. Search button you can't write and search is dead. In the ipod menu to sychronize (I have iphone, ipad , ipods) I see the shape of button (for example) Sync Now but not the letters. The small ball buttons on the top which appear Music,Videos, contacts and so forth I see the button but not the letters. So I use it by memorizing the buttons, I don't use the main menu and the search as well.
I contacted Apple support of itunes store, they advised me to download service pack for windows, unistall all apple related programms, in a certain order I reboot the machine and then I downloaded the newest version which installed succefully but the problem remained the same.
They told me kindly to contact Apple experts but I live in Norway now I don;t have American land line or cell phone so communication in fact with Apple is not possible at the time.
Please if you know help me ...

Can you start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] ?
You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

Great ideas, thank you. I have two USB cables, both of which I have tried on my computer and my friends. Unless I got two bad cables in a row, I somewhat doubt it is the cause of my problem but it is still possible.
I haven't yet tried any other form of connecting to my PC though I plan to borrow a neighbors Bluetooth USB Dongle tonight if I can and see if that works. I don't think any of my friends have a Nokia that uses the same cable, but I could check that too I guess.
Any other suggestions will still be appreciated as I really doubt that these will solve the problem. On the other hand, you MAY BE RIGHT about my USB port on my phone. It is possible that it could be damaged, though I have used the same port with a headset and that worked. It might be that it was using a different pin configuration though. I also plan to try resetting to factory settings, and flashing/updating the firmware if I can find an authorized service agent of Nokia in my area. My cell provider may be able to help me in that regard, but it would be a couple weeks because they have to wait for a special data cable.
I appreciate all the advice. Any other ideas would still be welcome because I think there have been a few others who have had trouble with my particular model of phone. A funny thing is that my phone model doesn't seem to be listed as compatible with PC Suite, but Nokia told me it was. Hopefully it's just a typo.

: please try to solve the EPC-INIT failed epc-95 error which arbitrarily raises any day, we can not say that it raises only during peak time.It comes arbitrarily any time any day. Initially it was use to come after every 5 to 10 days But now its frequency has been increased.
I have checked it out from documentation but there is ample space in ORACLE_HOME.
Is it having any relation with other errors as follows which also coming at different times.
1) General error on user screen not on server. which results into loss of connection with the server. user again have to enter there identities.
2) virtual memory problem, now set high.
3) Less redo log buffers space, which results into high no. of redo buffer allocation tries. This i will increase it soon.

After the upgrade of the os, customer started receiving ora-12223
errors when trying to start up svrmgrl and the listener. Through
a top session, customer could see svrmgrl consuming excessive memory
until memory was exhausted.Disabling otrace solved this issue.
Workaround / Patches

There are no patches available.
Two workarounds exist:
A. If you wish to disable Oracle Trace totally you simply need to
     remove the '*.dat' configuration files.
B. If you do wish to disable Oracle Trace for specific processes
     only you can use the EPC_DISABLED environment variable. Setting
     this to TRUE will DISABLE tracing.
Workaround A - No Oracle Trace output required:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Shut down all databases and listeners.
2. Remove the Oracle Trace files:
     Unix                    NT

rm -f *.dat               del *.dat
                         Reboot the NT server
Workaround B - Disable Oracle Trace on specific connections

NB: This workaround is not applicable to NT.
1. Shutdown and remove the trace configuration files as in Workaround A.
2. Reinitialise the Oracle Trace files by typing 'otrccref' in

3. To disable Oracle Trace for a particular session set the environment
     variable EPC_DISABLED to TRUE.
Eg: In a Bourne script:
EPC_DISABLED=TRUE; export EPC_DISABLED
In the C-Shell:
setenv EPC_DISABLED TRUE
4. To set EPC_DISABLED=TRUE for SQL*Net connections you can modify
     the 'SID_LIST_listener' clause in the 'listener.ora' file and add:

to the SID_DESC for each 7.3 database. Add the entry AFTER the
(ORACLE_HOME=...) clause.

Did you delete all receipts with iDVD in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder before installing the new copy? If not then do so and delete the new application also.

Two experiments you can try.
1. Boot in safe mode and see if you can shut down normally. All thise additions won't be running in safe mode so this test would indicate it is one of them causing the problem.
2. Uninstall all the intego VirusBarrier stuff. That's my first guess and the troublemaker.

You probably don't really need 1080 at 60 for your finished projects but since you're just starting out with Motion, you need to lower your expectations. A long way. 1080 is about 2 million pixels per frame, DV is only about 400,000. That's not just five times as many pixels for the Mac to track; everything in video is exponential.
Explore the training tutorials available by Mark Spencer. You will get an idea of how his super powerful machine reacts with the software.
Adding a light roughly doubles the processing time over flat scenes. Two lights increases processing again. Reflections require processing the lights and then calculating the reflections so add another quarter of the time required for flat scenes. Add camera movement, motion blur, and depth of field and you need exponentially more processing time for every frame. The preload of renders into RAM is one of the cooler features of Motion, as comapred to After Effects, but that takes tons of time, to.
Try working in ye olde DV resolution for a few days. Get to know the software's limitations and what gets imposed by your Macintosh. Step up to 720p/30 and see how things slow down.

I don't know where you heard that statement but it's completely incorrect.
According to Apple:
Use Your iPad Regularly
For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).
Elsewhere, Apple elaborates and explains that two half-discharges (or four quarter-discharges, etc.) equals one full discharge.

Thanks for these suggestions: I have tried safe mode re-starts (both "verbose" and simple "shift" + power) to no avail. I get the error message "disk0s2: media is not present". Following this I inserted the installation disc and from there ran disc utility. The "Verify Disk" indicated an error " invalid sibling link" which it could not repair.
I also tried to completely re-format/erase the disk, but again got an error message "disk object invalid or unable to serialize".
Any ideas of what could be causing this or the best solution? I fear I am fast running out of options.
