Dobe photoshop elements 10 editor didnt work

i bought adobe photoshop elements 10 editor early this year by apple store (mac) before adobe photoshop elements 11 editor came out. i recovered my mac , i installed i adobe photoshop elements 10 again , but unfortunatly it is not working always showing me a windows telling me to report an erre to Apple
is that means my money has gone on nothing?! i have OSX 10.8.4

After installing & registering my Adobe Photoshop Elements 12, a week or so has passed since I last played with it. The Organizer still works fine, but the Editor sends me to a registration screen, which ultimately ends up telling me to ensure the Internet is working (it is) or retry. Any idea what's up? I've tried restarting the computer, uninstalling/re-installing the software, and the ever popular, waited on the phone for 45 minutes until I got so tired of the music (no one ever picked up) that I just gave up. PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 12 EDITOR NOT WORKING

THE EDITOR HAS SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING ON MY ELEMENTS 12. ALL I KEEP GETTING IS " PHOTOSHOP EDITOR HAS STOPPED WORKING, WINDOWS WILL CLOSE THE PROGRAM AND INFORM YOU IF IT FINDS A SOLUTION ". WE ALL KNOW THAT WINDOWS NEVER FINDS A. SOLUTION FOR ANYTHING. PLEASE HELP.

Photoshop Elements 11 Editor not working

Everytime i try to open photoshop editor i get a message saying stopped working i need help please

You won't lose any photos or catalogs by reinstalling (there's no repair install). However, before you do that, try restarting the editor while holding down ctrl+alt+shift (command+option+shift on a mac). Keep the keys down till you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. You do.

Could be the installer failed to set the correct permissions on the two folders in your user profile where the prefs are written. If you log in on the PC using a different user account, does ID work?

Adobe photoshop elements 10 editor crash when the organizer is open

My operating system is: Windows 7 Home Basic (service pack 1) 32-bit. Directx: 11.0, video card: Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT, (512 ram DDR 3, whit driver 296.10 that is the last one), PCI Express x16 Gen2. Procesor, Intel Core i7 860 2800 MHz. System Memory 2040 MB DDR 3 (Kingstone), only 1 disk drive of (931.51 GB), a system defragmented recently. I have a latest version of Quicktime from Apple. If you can help me, i glad you. Photoshop Elements 10 editor stops working properly when i have the organizer on at the same time. basically, the program not responding as if to consume all system resurces for erratic periods, but other programs works fine. as if the organizer blocks the editor or generate conflict. if i close editor, organizer works fine, if i close organizer, editor works fine, not both together. i reinstall, and the problem persist.

Are you able to edit an image file that's not in the iPhoto library with PSE 10?
Also the followinjg has some tips on configuring PSE for use inside iPhoto that you may or may not know about:

that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements 9/10 the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:

I also suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always. In PSE’s General preference pane set the Color Picker to Apple as shown:

NOTE: If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window". That will let you either edit in iPhoto (double click on the thumbnail) or in PS (Control-click on the thumbnail and seledt "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu). This way you get the best of both worlds.

Photoshop Elements 12 Editor crashing

A number of people have posted about Elements Organiser crashing but I have a problem with Photoshop Elements 12 Editor and would be grateful for any suggestions on how to resolve them. I have a 64bit Sony Vaio running Windows 7 OS. I have been using the software for a few months with no prior problems. Elements Organiser functions without any issues but when I try to launch Editor it crashes every time with the following error message.
“Photoshop Elements 12 Editor stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close this program and notify you if a solution is available.”
This happens when I launch Editor from Organiser (by selecting to edit a particular picture) or when I try to launch Editor from the Welcome menu.
Any advice gratefully received.

Since you're using a different OS, it would have been better to start a separate thread, ScoutDeb, but:
Go to your username>library>preferences folder and delete:

Adober Photoshop Elements 11 Settings
com.adobe.PhotoshopElements.plist

Have you checked whether you have folder for PSE Organizer? It is normally at this location in Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1:
<C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer>
If the folder is there then try double-clicking on the file called: PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe
If the folder isn't there at all then you need to re-install the package again using your original disks or from download from Adobe website. <Download Photoshop Elements products | 13, 12, 11, 10>

Quite disappointing. I installed the application in May, 2014, downloading it from the App Store, and now I would like to re-install Photoshop Elements.

Photoshop Elements 11 editor no longer working

All of a sudden, when I try to open Photoshop Elements 11 Editor either through Aperture 3, from the Organizer or from the dock, just get the spinning color wheel. Have to force close. Editor used to work fine. Organizer still works fine. Using Apple OS 10.6.8. Only change is I recently purchased OnOne Perfect Suite 7. Also, run Nik Software usually from Aperture, which I recently upgraded. Any suggestions?

Solution 1:
1. Close Elements.
2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.
Solution 2: Try launching directly from exe 'PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe' from location C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11\ . Right click on this exe file at this location and select run as admin.
Solution 3: In case any network printer is attached try to launch without network or printer uninstall or make different printer as default.
Solution 4: Try launching with anti-virus off or removing PSE from conflicting list.

Does Photoshop Elements 12 editor on mac downloaded from app store work ok with retina display??

Hi.
I was wondering if any has purchased photoshop elements 12 editor via the app store for a mac and does it have the function to display it properly for a retina display screen. I have lightroom which works a treat as it has ability to work with this screen. I see on the adobe website that their version of elements 12 does not support retina display. Before i buy this product i would like to know if it works properly otherwise it will be a waste of money. I also have elements 11 via adobe themselves which i can use but the text does not look sharp, as it does't support retina display. Cheers
