But check with the manufacturer of your device to make sure it will work before purchasing the adapter.

  • TS1286 MY MUSIC WILL PLAY THROUGH THE IPOD BUT NOT THROUGH ANY DOCKING STATION SPEAKERS. IT USED TO, BUT JUST SUDDENLY STOPPED.

My music will play through my ipod speakers, but it won't work through docking station speakers. It used to but then just suddenly stopped. Can anyone help??

I just had this problem tonight and here is what worked:  Go to Settings; General; Software Update; and update to the new iOS:  6.0.1.  It worked for me, hope it works for you!

  • HT1665 Bluetooth docking station speakers not working when docked

I have a new docking station a Pioneer XW-BTS3-K which is certified by apple to work with my iPhone 4. The remote control and buttons on the docking station all work fine when my iPhone is docked and the phone charges. But iTunes will not play through the docking station speakers although the speakers work when connected through bluetooth.
The Pioneer website is not very helpfull as it has no information on which ios software the station is compatible with.
Is there something wrong with my iPhone?

it's unclear what you mean when you say itunes
itunes on ios is the store bit and the play music part is called just music
    itunes on computers is both
if you dock an ios device the dock would likely be prepared to play music from the docked device
and stop computers play to it using bluetooth

Have you went to Accounstic solutions support site?
    Also try:

  • Docking station + speakers iPod Shuffle compatible

    Hi,
I want to buy an iPod shuffle and a docking station and speakers. There are loads that say they are iPod compatible but I have not found one that actually states iPod shuffle.
Do you know of one? or Do you know of an adaptor that I could use to get it to fit?
    Thanks
    J.

... 2nd Gen shuffle can NOT play and charge simultaneously ...
This statement is just flat-out wrong. That's exactly what the Apple-supplied 'dock' provides: simultaneous connection of power (charging) and audio (playing) at the same time, via USB.
So you consider playing the iTunes playlists that MAY on the shuffle as playing via USB? You need to learn more about the way the shuffle works when attached to the dock. I thought the original poster was asking about the availability of a dock that provided audio out as well as USB connectivity...IF that's NOT what the OP wanted then there's nothing wrong with using the original shuffle dock as you suggest.

  • ThinkPad docking station speakers / PL connectivity

    Hi,
I have T61 and docking station model 2505. I couldn't find PL connector for speakers: How can I connect speakers to the docking station and not (!) to my laptop? I would like to avoid the neccesary of connect / disconnect the speakers every time I undock / dock to the docking station.
    Uriel

    Hi,
Is there any way to connect speakers to the Docking Station directly, and not via the laptop?
Sounds funny that I would need to connect / reconnect the PL plug every time I remove the laptop from the docking Station.
    Thanks,
    Uriel

  • How do i get my iphone to play music through docking station speakers?

When I place my iPhone in my Bose docking station, it plays music through the iPhone's speakers.  How do I get my iPhone to route music playing through the Bose's speakers?  My Nano plays just fine in my docking station.

Did you check to see that shuffle is is turned off?  To do this, while playing a song tap the cover art to reveal the additional controls if they are not already visible (see photo below).  Then tap the shuffle button (bottom right) until it turns white (white is off).

  • HT4528 I pulled my iPhone out of the docking station/speakers and now the ring tones don't work.  Anyone know a fix for this?

Does anyone know if there is a fix for iPhone 4S when you pull it out of the docking station and now the ring tones don't work -- it only vibrates.

Basic troubleshooting of the device is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  Has any of this been tried?
    Do other sounds work?
Have you checked to see if the dock connector or headphone jack have debris in them?

  • Grandson's ipod touch plays the music if the earphones are plugged in but not if it is unplugged and on the ipod docking station nor do the external speakers work.  What is wrong?

I won an ipod touch and gave it to my grandson for Xmas but sometimes the external speakers do not emit music but the music can be heard with the earplugs in.  It also will not play on the docking station speakers.  What is wrong.  Of course Apple is sayin there is no warranty.

Try to reset the iPod by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again and let it start up. You will not lose any data doing a reset.
If this does not help, set it up as new device again, explained in this article: How to back up your data and set up as a new device

  • No audio when playing YOUTUBE videos on ipod touch via a docking station

Hi there, when my ipod touch is docked on its docking station, it will not play audio on youtube videos, it will play the video but not the audio through the docking station speaker. It used to play audio without problems before, but recently it has stopped. When i take the ipod touch off the docking station the audio on the youtube video returns. any ideas why this has happened? it plays the youtube audio through the head phones too, i can play all other audio through the docking station speakers with out a problem.

There are no setting to change on the iPod.
Have you updated either the firmware on the car or on the iPod since they last played in the car?
    This may work:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

  • My ipod touch wont play through my docking station

hiya i have an ipod touch. aout a week ago it stopped working with my docking station. it wont play through the docking station speakers. ive tried two other ipods on the station and they work fine so its clearly a problem with my ipod. the ipod registers that its plugged into a charging source and starts playing music when its plugged in but through its own speakers rather then the docking station. i've tried doing a full factory reset and that didnt work. does anybody have any suggestions?

    - Inspect the dock connector for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    - Make an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store.

  • When is the new docking station going to come out for the new iPod touch with the lightning connection?

I have just got the new iPod Touch for christmas. I am now wondering when a docking station will come out for the new iPod Touch with the new lightning connection. I have not been able to find a docking station that fits the iPod Touch without having to buy the adapter(the adapter does not allow the iPod to be charged)
When will a docking station come out for the new iPod Touch?
    Olivia Davey

You would have to ask the makers of the docking stations that question. Belkin has a dock now that uses Apple's Lightning cable:
    http://www.belkin.com/us/F8J057-Belkin/p/P-F8J057
so all it basically does is provide a stand and pass through the headphone jack. There's at least one other dock here:
    http://www.thelightningdock.com/products/iphone-5-dock
If you're referring to Apple's Universal Dock, there have been no indications that they will make any new dock, though of course none of us here know their plans for future products.
