  • Looking for Source Codes

    hi everyone!
I am looking for source codes with the following characteristics:
    - significant data processing (like fft or image processing algorithms)
    - use of just a few classes and/or packages (it must not use awt or swing)
    - code is not so big (200 lines of code at most)
    - program is multithreaded (it is not necessary)
If anyone could help me, I would appreciate a lot.
    Thanks.

  • Question about the Documentation Tags for Source Code

    Hello,
I have a question about CVI's automatic source code documentation. My problem is that is seems like you need to write all documentation for a specific tag on one line. If you don't, a line break will be inserted when the documentation is displayed. Suppose I want to write a large amount of documentation for the function itself, using the HIFN tag. If I don't want linebreaks to be forced in the documentation, I need to write all this documentation on one single line, which kinda messes up my code. If I split the documentation over several HIFN tags, the documentation displayed to the user might look messed up because of all the linebreaks. Is there any escape character I can put at the end of a line, allowing me to split the documentation of several HIFN lines without forcing linebreaks in the documentation?
    Thanks!

This information is certainly useful. Note, however, that it can also be found in the documentation
    Tag
    Description
    /// HIFN help text
Specifies the help text for the function. Use multiple /// HIFN tags to display help text for the function on separate lines. To separate help text with an empty line, use /// HIFN on a line by itself. You also can use HTML tags, but you must enclose the tags in <HTML><BODY></BODY></HTML> tags.
    Example
/// HIFN SampleFunction returns the value of a control.
int SampleFunction (int controlID, ctrlType controlType, char label[], double *value)
         SomeAction;

  • Asking for source code !

i wish to have a similar source code for this iphone application :
    http://itunes.apple.com/kw/app/al-bukhari/id323497164?mt=8
and i wish it to be fit for sdk xcode to be edited by me to make many applications with different text inside it ... and with different design .
so if anyone can do that just let me know .
    i will wait ..

Only the developer of that App could give you the source code - why don't you contact them? I doubt they'll give it to you though since they're charging for the App.

Even better, why don't you learn to program the iPhone yourself, rather than trying to cut corners and use someone else's work?

  • Project setup - what's best for source code versioning?

We're about to start developing a new portal and are wondering what would be the best directory structure. It's important to decide at the beginning because we're using CVS version management for our source code (we are currently using it for our ADF development).
Are there any issues related to directory/package structure? With ADF, we had problems when we wanted jsps from one application to call those in another application. To get around that, we had to put all of our applications within the same jdeveloper "project".
I'm keen to hear any suggestions - especially if you work in a multi-application environment with concurrent development etc.
    thanks,
    M

Since I don't have a Canon, I don't know the specifics of how to ingest media for that camera. But FCE does have the ability to log & transfer AVCHD, as I have done this with a Sony HandiCam and my Lumix GH-1.
The codec that FCE transcoded to, was AIC, Apple Intermediate Codec. FCE is 'fine' if you are not using 24p frame rates, as there are no 24p sequence options. (You can use 24p in a 25p timeline... but broadcast engineers will gnash their teeth on such botchery.)
This may or may not be an issue.
On the 'problem' of 'wyrd things happen when I whip pan my camera'... well, yeah... There are some industry standards about how fast objects should move across the field of view to avoid artifacts.
The "whip pan", namely quickly pivoting the camera, will produce strange imaging. While the technology and image formation is different, so the artifacts are different, but even for 'film film' there are limits.
One rule thumb I've run across is an object should take at least 5 seconds from one side of the screen to the other. Faster will result in artifacts, strobing, or in the case of digital cameras, 'rolling shutter' issues.
The motto of the day is... "Know thy camera"...
There may be filters to minimize or save the day if needed, but it is just better to shoot correctly in the first place...

  • Recommended folder for source code?

    Hi,
I upgraded to OSX Lion - which was only possible after erasing everything on my system. Since I now start up with with a 'clean' account, I wanted to take the opportunity to optimize my source code organisation.
Since my sources are really checked out from an online repository, I don't think I should keep them in the Documents folder but rather in some other folder, like Users/guy/Development. Does this make sense? Any thoughts or experiences from other developers here?
    Thanks
    Guy

Sorry, it doesn't make sense to ask about saving in a local folder when you claim they sit in a remote location...
Whatever the location, as long as it is backed up reliably, you'll be fine.

  • Documentation for error codes from tpcall()

    Dear all,
while investigating a particular error-handling scenario I realized that the documentation for tpcall() was changed between Tuxedo 6.5 and 7.1.
In the 6.5 docs it's stated that after a TPESVCFAIL error you can do tpcall(..., TPNOTRAN) as long as you haven't run out of TRANTIME.
In the 7.1 (and onwards) docs it's stated that after a TPESVCFAIL error you can only do tpacall(..., (TPNOBLOCK|TPNOREPLY|TPNOTRAN))
In the 6.5 docs this is only stated after TPETIME (which makes some kind of sense - you're already late so don't do a lot of more time-consuming stuff).
On the other handl, in a section in the Tuxedo 10.0 docs about error handling (http://edocs.bea.com/tuxedo/tux100/pgc/pgerr.html#wp1155712) you're again told that it's OK to use tpcall() (and recommended to use TPNOTRAN if doing so)
Is this related to multi-threading, or why was the documentation changed?
Testing shows that you can actually do tpcall(..., TPNOTRAN) after a TPESVCFAIL using Tuxedo 8.1. (after a TPETIME it's another story, but I'm OK with that.) Am I the only one being confused by this?
    Best regards,
    /Per

I just checked the XATMI spec (dated November, 1995....) which states the following regarding tpcall() failures:
    [TPESVCFAIL]
The service routine sending the caller’s reply called tpreturn( ) with TPFAIL. This is an
application-level failure. The contents of the service’s reply, if one was sent, are available in
the buffer pointed to by *odata. If the service request was made on behalf of the caller’s
current transaction, the transaction is marked rollback-only. Note that so long as the
transaction has not timed out, further communication may be attempted before rolling back
the transaction. Such attempts may be processed normally or may fail (producing an error
return or event). Such attempts should be made with TPNOTRAN set if they are to have
any lasting effect. Any work performed on behalf of the caller’s transaction is rolled back
    upon transaction completion.
This is consistent with the 6.5 documentation (and 8.1 behaviour). Has the XATMI spec been updated, or what was the rationale for changing the behavior?
    Best regards,
    /Per

  • How to write professional documentation for java

Hi, I have few application I need to write documentation for. Im ok with the user and serwer technical stuff. But how to write proper documentation for source code? Any tutorial or howto?
    Best regards.

    Phenom7 wrote:

Any tutorial or howto?A pointer: be explicit and specific when writing Javadocs. If your method never returns null, make sure you say so. If it can't accept null as a parameter, be sure to say what the consequence will be if it happens (but it's OK to say the result is undefined!). A well-written method Javadoc will make users of any API you make a lot more happy, rather than keeping them guessing or making them inspect your source code.
It's expected that while the implementation of a method will change, its pre and post-conditions will not. Therefore, having a good method-level Javadoc is critical to both the people counting on your code and the people maintaining your code.

  • How to get source code and build files for Eudora 7, and price?

Looking for source code and build/make files for Eudora 7 to port to Win7 and Ubuntu 14. Where is a source for this and what is the cost?

You best ask qualcomm. It is their intellectual property.
Eudora OSE was based on Thunderbird and the source code for the Penelope add-on is open source (that is what made Thunderbird over to OSE)

  • Need source code or help for COMM_FAILURE 209

    Hi,
Anyone know where I can get the source code for the com.sun.jndi.cosnaming package? I'm trying to debug this message WARNING: "IOP00410209: (COMM_FAILURE) Connection rebind". Only get this problem when connecting to solaris, fine on windows.
We run tnameserv and jdk1.4.2 on both. Also tried using jacorb, get same problem. The ORB's don't return any errors, error only on client side. Client is also jdk1.4.2 running on windows.
    Ted.

    Sorry,
but nobody here will do your homework for you. If you have problems with your code let us know and we try to help, but never ask for source code.
