Does anybody know benefices of upgrading SAP ERP from version ECC 6.0 EHP 7 to ECC 6.06 EHP 10?

An upgrade of ERP SAP from version ECC 6.0 EHP 7 to ECC 6.06 EHP 10 is being planned in the company I work for. However, I don´t know what the benefices are to implement this upgrade so I wonder if someone knows benefices of upgrading SAP ERP from version ECC 6.0 EHP 7 to ECC 6.06 EHP 10?

Upgrading SAP BW from version 7.0 to 7.4

Hello Everyone,
We are going to upgrade the BW system from version 7.0 to 7.4. My question is that, we have 3.5 flow as well in our system, so would it cause any issue while upgrading or we should do the migration of 3.5 flow to 7.0 first and then we should go for upgrade. Does 7.4 supports 3.5 flow? Please suggest.

SAP BW 7.4 supports 3.5 flows and i guess upcoming version will also supports 3.5 flow.
The 3.5 flow will not create any issues during SAP BW upgrade.The migration of 3.5 to 7.0 is also not mandatory.The Application upgrade is taken care by SUM tool.It will not differentiate any flows (3.5/7.0). It will upgrade all BW objects to 7.4 versions.

SAP provides tools to develop Webdynpros (amongst other things) that are integrated into Eclipse
This is called Sap NetWeaver Developer Studio
you can download it from Downloads part of SDN

Unfortunately it's extremely difficult to find legit copies of older versions and you can expect to pay a significant premium if you do. If you are looking at a used version, you need to be certain that the previous owner didn't use it to qualify for upgrade pricing. If they did (it's very common for people who upgrade to want to get rid of the older version), then you probably won't be able to activate it in your name.
I take it this is a very old camera model? Adobe hasn't dropped support for very many models over the years. Which camera is it, just to be sure?

The seriousness and the complexity of the upgrade is primarily dependent on the version of the older SAP system. The Upgrade from 4.6 -> 4.7 is relatively easier and faster than that of an upgrade from 3.0 -> 4.7.
Most of the function modules in the older system have been reworked and would be marked as obsolete in the target version. (This could be seen in EPC Error Analysis & warnings).For example Function modules like Upload, Download, WS_Download, WS_Upload,WS_File_Delete, WS_Filename_get, Popup_to_confirm_step etc. These obsolete Fm's can be easily replaced with Fm's like Gui_Upload,Gui_Download, etc. There are few other complex Fms for which you have to do through R&D to find out the replacements.
Apart from replacing obsolete Fms one has to correct those syntax errors that may occur in the target version. There is a lot of variations in Syntax standards across versions.
Further more many transactions would have been reworked. Some Fields would be missing in the old system or a field would have been made a Key-Field in the new version , some screens would be missing or would have been addded. Also some Tables would have been flagged as obsolete and we need to find replacement for those obsolete Database tables.
It would be wise to do a R&D for all the programs in the system before Upgradation. This would really give us an idea about the complexity of the task and we can plan our Upgrade work effectively.

No. You only pay for Lion once and can then install it on all of your household Macs.
Purchase Lion in the App Store using one of your Macs and the install button will appear for Lion under the Purchases tab when you open the App Store with your other Mac. The App Store will ask for your user name and password to install Lion but won't charge you for the second install. If you have more than one iTunes account use the one that you used to purchase Lion. All apps in the App Store work this way.

Yes, turn by turn directions is available on the new ipad. I've tried it and it does work.

Where is the Apple problem? I have CS4 and CS5 running perfectly fine on my Macbook Pro. Installed 5 after Lion upgrade. Worth every cent. Adobe did have some catching up to do with Lion but with the CS5.5 update all runs fine. But not yours. So it is a problem with the Lion OS? You say you have been with Adobe since 2005. So you would be aware of all the other issues that Adobe had catching up with past Oss in Mac and Windows then. They get it right, but it is up to them. It is not up to Apple, nor Microsoft for that matter, to run around and check that every software developer in the world is running their business properly.
And what has politics got to do with anything. Some people just have to blame Software for their poor Hardware maintainence of failure of the same.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

You are welcome to try but it was not tested. Also from my understanding printer drivers have changed again in Windows 8 so it is unlikely you will be able to get the Adobe PDF printer to function. Acrobat 10 and Acrobat 11 do function properly with Windows 8. If you end up running into installation difficulties then you will likely want to consider upgrading to Acrobat 11.
