Does anyone else suffer tv signal loss when their apple tv 2 turns on?
My apple tv 2 has always worked fine. After the iOS 5 upgrade, whenever my apple tv turns on (randomly a couple times an hour) my tv signal goes in and out. The second the light turns off the tv is fine again. My tv is hooked up to Comcast, but the most basic cable. I don't think the hd channels I use are even through comcast as I don't pay for hd. I think I just get the over the air signal through the Comcast antenna somehow. Again, this never happened before the iOS 5 upgrade. Any ideas?
There's also the complication that, for me, 103 is ITV Anglia, but 178 is ITV Meridan HD. There is no Anglia HD.
In some parts of the country, 105 is 5 HD. I think it's only the red & green areas of here - http://about.channel5.com/sales/spot-advertising/macro-map

I have an Iphone4 from verizon. This is my 2nd and still has the same problem I am trying to figure out. To turn on the phone, I press the top button, and then I slide to unlock the phone, i notice a flash before it gets to the main screen. Its a little irritating and it only does it every so often. I dont know anyone else that has this problem. I took it to the apple store and they said it may be in between updates. So they gave me a brand new one for free. At first they said it was because I had a screen protector on the front but that wasnt it, so it remains a mystery. Any ideas?
When you say turn on the phone, do you mean just unlocking the phone to get to your home screen ( icons)?

With 10.8.3 Bootcamp and Win8 install work like a charm. No DVD needed. Win8 install image and drivers are packed on the same usb stick (or similar device) and the installation and driver upgrade process are a clean sweep through.

After updating my Apple TV, it will no longer load movies from my iTunes library. Music works, but no movies. I've turned this puppy every which way but loose, but no joy. Is there a way to roll back an update?

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

Today my iPad simply stopped recognizing the house network. I have an iPod Touch and iPhone4 that aren't having any problem with wifi.
First, try Airplane-Mode for 10 seconds. If this doesn't help, try resetting the network-configuration. This can be accomplished by heading to Settings --> General --> (at the very foot of the page) Reset --> Reset Network Settings. Then reboot iPad.
However, if all that didn't help, you can get to a near Apple Store, or, in case of functionality, there's still the guarantee. -

When I am talking to someone on the phone it will all of a sudden go silent as if I have been cut off but the call is still connected. I then have to hang up and ring that person back. Is this a common problem? Can it be fixed?

When I loose signal I have to make a call to force the signal to return, anyone else suffer this?
At times when I'm in an area with no signal coverage, my signal doesn't return automatically when I return to a place which I know has signal coverage. I must dial a number which then forces the signal to return. Anyone else suffer from this or have any ideas of a possible fix??
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

My macbook pro (August 2010) keeps freezing when apple mail starts up. This happens every 2nd time I turn on my Macbook Pro. This forces me to hold down the power button to restart my Macbook Pro. Does anyone else experience this, and is there a fix? Thx.
since upgrading to OS lion, my mac book pro (2010 August) keeps freezing (non responsive, requires restart) when i turn on my mac and the system is trying to open apple mail. while apple mail is attempting to collect new mail, the macbook pro freezes. this happens every 2nd time i try to start up my computer. this only started happening after i upgraded to OS lion. please let me know what I need to do to fix this. being forced to restart every 2nd time i turn on my macbook pro has been very frustrating. not sure if apple mail is also the cause of my macbook pro for being very slow during start-up (on the occasion the computer doesn't freeze).I am having similar 'freezing' problems with many programs (Mail, Safari, iTunes, etc.). I have done a clean install of Lion instead of an upgrade when it came out. Perhaps something went wrong with my install? I'm thinking about wiping and reinstalling.

My iTunes password will update some of my Apps but not all of them. When I try to update the remaining ones, my password expires. I've just created 5th PW. Does anyone else experience this?

When I type my email address in the "To:" field, a random name comes up next to it as "Holidays in United States". This just started happening out of the blue and I have no idea why. Does anyone else have any idea?
Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. I was just taking a picture on my iPhone 5 when I noticed a purple dot in every picture I took I cleaned the lens and turned my phone off but it's still there . It's annoying ! Does anyone else have this problem ?

I have exactly the same issue as described above : I installed the update 5.1.1 on my iphone 3GS and since then, I can not turn it on anymore. In Itunes, I get an error 37 when I am doing a restauration and it stops.
This error has nothing to do with firewall : I tried to restore the phone on several computers, including in an Apple reseller and it did not work anywhere.
I spent several hours on phone with the hotline from Apple which arrived to the conclusion that it is a hardware issue, but the phone was working perfectly fine until I installed this update! -
