Does anyone have any idea when Apple will have one Global App store. In South Africa the apps available on the App Store are pathetic, eg. Angry Birds is not available to Iphone/ipad users here, however android users can purchase this app no problem.

If this continues, with the competition in the smart phone/android market, South Africans will start to can Apple devices due to the pathetic App Store for South Africa. The most popular games and Apps are not available here and until Apple get smart and make a Global Store for purchases not matter where you are in the world, Apple will continue to loose support. I have everything Apple, but am tired of the run around to try and buy good Apps.

It really isn't the fault of Apple. The developers of apps, the writers of music and of books all have copyright or exclusivity deals through agents in order to market their creations.
These arrangements are usually conducted on an individual national basis and as a result what would be allowed in one country is not allowed in another if that is what the agent wants.
Apple has to negotiate through this mire to get the best deal it can yet always accepting that many other interested parties want similar privileges.
So you can see, like politics, world wide agreements are just not possible.

No, IO7 will not be signed again for iPhone 4S, try download the latest IOS 8.1.1.
It's optimised for iPhone 4S and iPad 2.

Firmware version 1.0.3 has just been released, installed it about a half hour ago.
The installation went smoothly - my unit was not "bricked" in the process.
Coverflow performance seems slightly more responsive.
Seems there may be a few more options under menus than before.
Eject is much faster now.
The hard drive does not seem to continue running in pause mode and when you shut the player off.
Battery life - jury's out on that one. We'll see.

I opened the box in front of an Apple technician and there was a scratch on the edge. So I told her I didn't want a scratched iPhone. So she returned and brought out another phone. Well, she couldn't get it to a accept the new iPhone because there's a 24hr waiting period when you make a return. This is Verizon's policy, but of course we didn't find out until 2.5hrs later.
So she says you'll have to return but we will hold this phone for you. I was disappointed after being there for a total of 3.5hrs and no iPhone. I returned on Saturday hoping the next iPhone didn't have a scratch. I opened the box and there was a scratch! I live 40 minutes from these store, so it's not close.
I have an iPhone 4 that's in excellent condition! I don't want a new iPhone 5 with a scratch, unless its a scratch caused by me.

Try troubleshooting Safari extensions and third party plugins.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow all other plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.

OCFS2 - Any idea when it will be supported?

I am at the beginning stages of a 11.5.10 development effort. We are building our dev hardware environment with the intentions of mimicking prod. The problem I have is clustering/RAC and what to do about the shared file system. Right now, OCFS2 is not supported for production. This would somewhat force our hand to look at Red Hat GFS for the shared file system (expensive - $2100 per node) or something similar, since we are planning a shared $ORACLE_HOME and $APPL_TOP.
Does anyone have an idea when OCFS2 will be supported? Are there other alternatives to Red Hat GFS?

That certainly does - a bunch!
Go live on this project is not until November 1 2005, so I can start development with beta OCFS2, when OCFS2 goes GA I'll just backup everything and rebuild the file system with the supported version.
