Does anyone have downloads in their itunes sub folder that don't appear in TV programmes or downloads when they open itunes itself?

My download speed is pretty slow so i often set things to download overnight. Then when i come back to it, it is fnished and says it is processing the file. Then it will say itunes has stopped working and that i need to shut it down. when i re-open, the file is gone in itunes but it is in the Downlads subfolder on my c drive. This only occurs now that i have updated software - Windows 7 and itunes 10.7. Does anynr have any idea why this happens? i have probably lost 10GB of download capacity doing repeat downloads!

I thought I would be covered with having an Apple account and purchasing shows through their store, I just assumed they would allow someone to redownload without them having to pay for the same thing again.

I saw one post where a user said dust got inside the small microphone hole. Using a vacuum cleaner removed the dust and restored the audio.

Well for me I see 4 under my purchased (technically they weren't purchased ringtones because I used the ringtone maker on the app from the iphone, but the song itself was purchased from the itunes music store).
Under custom, I have 8 ringtones to choose from. Also the 4 under my purchased section should have been under my custom, which makes it 12, but oh well.

Does anyone have trouble with their Macbook Air Trackpad freezing?

I have had trouble in the past few days with my track pad. It freezes so that I can move the cursor but it does nothing on any of the buttons. It's just dead. Then for no apparent reason, it works again. It's driving me crazy. Ideas?

The MBA trackpad is the source of a lot of wierd problems and, IMHO, is the weakest aspect of the computer and compromises its usefulness. There appear to be multiple sources of the various problems; some are in hardware, others software, and yet others situational. Personally, I hate the **** thing and would trade it in a moment for a dumb 2-button, PC trackpad that at least didn't screw up unpredictably. At least that way, I would be able to concentrate on my work and not on the trackpad.
Anyway, to your post...
Some people have found it useful to disable all options on the trackpad using the System>Preferences>Trackpad, then power down (NOT restart). After it powers up again, set only those options that you actually use (the fewer the better).
From what I've read, if this helps, the help is temporary but can at least be repeated.

Does anyone have a fix for "iTunes has stopped working" error, using Vista?

When I try to start up iTunes I get an error message "iTunes has stopped working" and I have to close the program. I have performed a complete uninstall of all things Apple and reinstalled iTunes but no joy.

Did you after uninstalling iTunes (and before reinstalling) checked if the following directories where also deleted ?
(These directories store your iTunes and also other Apple Products settings...)
For XP:
Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple Computer
Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple
Documents And Settings\<user>\Application Data\Apple Computer
Documents And Settings\<user>\Application Data\Apple
For Vista:
Users\Public\Apple Computer

Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer
Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Apple
Note: Deleting these directories also deletes the settings for other Apple Programs
Ps: Always make a backup before deleting.

Yes - I just posted a similar question, but I have a 5s with 7.0.3.
It is randomly operating itself, like someone is pressing random keys on the phone. It will do it for a little bit and then just stop on its own. If you touch the screen, it is unresponsive and then will randomly go crazy again.

Yours should be version 4. Do you have a freind who could come over to your home and help you with this? I sure HP would not have sent you a empty computer with out any software on it. It is very hard to explain to you and show you how to use your lap top. Over the internet. Also how far you got setting up your lap-top. To get things started I want you to move your white arrow (called mouse} To you bottom left side corner. (You see the color circle? ) This is what they call the start button right click on or touch with a finger. Presto now you have found the list of programs and computers systems short cuts. I would like to right click or touch all programs bingo new list appairs. Now go to a file called accessories right click it or touch new list drops down go down that list and find a file getting started click it or touch it. Opens up You will see this, [ Go online to learn more.] Right click or touch it. Enjoy your videos on how to's working with files etc... Does anyone have problems with their mac having a Medium-write error? Mine is totally out of hand... I have wasted countless CDs, I've purchased the Mac CDs, and I have tried to minimize the burn speed... The problem continues, and I need this for work.

My mac keeps saying medium-write error, and it's become out of hand. I've done all the suggested things to prevent it, by buying apple CDs, minimizing the burn speed, and restarting my computer... I need to burn CDs for my job, and I am a firm apple supporter... This is just out of control it took me 90 mins to finally burn a CD, because I had to go through 10 other CDs... HELP.

I doubt they're any better than anything else.
I may have an Apple CD-R around here somewhere...

Does anyone have a USB powered external hard drive that works?

I bought a really slick USB powered hard drive to take with me when I travel. The whole reason for purchase is to have it power off the laptop. It works on all the Windows machines, but my Mac doesn't even know the drive exists unless I first plug it into a powered USB hub. If I plug it directly into the USB port on the laptop, nada-zip-zilch.
This doesn't fit the plan I had.
Any help? Anyone need a slick little hard drive? 8-)

Pages 4.3 should still be in an iWorks folder within your Applications folder.
That should still work as before if you didn't update the iPad app. Even if you did- better to have a workable option on ONE platform, right? And you can export from Pages 5 as a 4.3 doc, so there's still some interoperability there.

I just bought imovie for my macbook pro. (I thought it was supposed to come with it) Anyway, I am under the gun to complete a project. Are there any tutorials that you would recommend for a beginner who needs to use imovie for basic functions for the time being?

What versions of OS X and iMovie are you running?
iMovie is part of the iLife suite and comes bundled with every new Mac.

Does anyone have a very simple GEF4 example? I am trying to learn GEF4 without ever having used the prior versions of GEF. I have bought five different books on eclipse plug-ins and RCP. Only one book, "Eclipse Plug-ins third edition" had a chapter on GEF. I read chapter 20 on GEF but it is based on version 3.x. Then I read other pages like this (https://wiki.eclipse.org/GEF/GEF4/MVC/Examples#Logo_Example_.28Standalone.2C_Eclipse_UI.2C_Web.29) and this (http://nyssen.blogspot.de/2015/06/gef4-mission-to-mars-accomplished.html) but they all assume prior GEF knowledge.
Does anyone have a very simple GEF project example that is a Eclipse4 "Part" with a GEF UI-integration? By simple I am thinking only one "figure", a filled circle for example, with the a supporting Model and Controller (EditPart) that just outputs to the console a message like "The move is over the circle" to the console. All the other examples have a lot more stuff that is making it hard for this newbie to get a grip on the basics of the MVC in GEF4.

I am a long time Macintosh user and Apple fan. I was using iTunes to download video podcasts to my iPod for a while before I realized that the list all buttons list all of the "Featured" podcasts only. I had no idea how much content was out there.
I also take issue with the listings on iTunes. There is a Tiger Woods podcast that is killing all the other podcasts in terms of popularity. The problem is, it isn't really a podcast. It is simply a commercial that is in iPod format. This hardly deserves the spot in ITMS that it has. It is not updated or new, but it is listed as new and notable. As if Tiger needs more press.
It seems that the big money podcasts get billing and premiere placement in the store. I hope they give some sort of fair time in the spotlight to podcasts that are regularly updated.
