I am currently trying to make it work in Firefox 3.6 without success.

Windows 8 ≠ Windows Phone 8. Windows 8 is a hybrid Tablet/PC OS. Windows RT is a Tablet OS. Windows Phone 8 is a pure mobile phone OS. Only Windows 8 and Windows RT both have the same app compatibility. Windows Phone 8 apps does not work with either Windows 8 or Windows RT. It's not like Android where tablet OS and mobile OS are basically the same. Have you tried Windows Update in the Control Panel?
Many times it will find the newest supported drivers for Hardware.
Just be sure to install everything not just the Important ones.

I am trying to play a jnlp file but can not, I have been told I need to get java 6 installed and not java 7 which my mac came with. I am new to mac so have no idea how to do this and when I tried it asked for a password, I have never set a password on this computer??
Please can anyone help, I am trying to do an online university course and so far not doing very well!

can somebody please let me know why apple does not have none of the ipod video version capable of playing video sequencially,such a good device,missing out this feature,so i have my ipod in the dock watching a video and you have to get up everytime to pick a video to watch,it wont play sequencial,is there a solution?

You can make a video playlist. Select the movies in iTunes. Open the Get Info window and select the Options tab. Change the "Media Kind" from movie to music video. Make a playlist of those videos and sync to your iPod. Play them using the "playlists" selection in the iPod's "Music" app and they will play sequentially as well as rotate to either portrait or landscape mode.

Every time I click on a link to open it in a new window, the new window is tiny and I have to resize it every time, does anyone know how I can stop it opening new windows so small?

I am using firefox 8.0.1 this only happens when I click a link that is automatically set to open in a new window, or when I choose to open a link in a new window. Firefox never remembers what I resize that window too.

Does anyone know how I can get skype (video call) to work on Ipad 3rd generation

I have tried to make a video call through Skype to a business relation (who did not have the possibility to use Facetime) on Ipad 3rd Generation. Did this using the most recent Skype app (which claims to have been updated for the Retina display). The app works all rigt, but the video doesn't. That is: I can see myself, but the other person can't. And I cannot see the other person. What have I done wrong?

If they were synced from iTunes you can use that. If they were taken with the iPhone you'll need to download thme to a computer, and then sync them up to the iPad.
Alternatively you can use Photostream to make them available to the iPad, or use an online service such as Dropbox, or Photobucket to view them on the iPad

I managed to transfer the music from 1 pc to 1 other pc (it is played perfectly on the other PC (Windows 7- pc) by the newly downloaded and installed iTunes, version 10.6.1.7). It's a pity that it seems not to be possible to import on the new pc e.g. the ratings!!!

You can download and install MPlayerX free from Apple App Store. Works great for AVI and other movie formats. I had issues with some AVI's and MPlayerX resolved them.

Please upgrade your plan to Web n Walk plus. One of our users on T-Mobile UK had this to report back to us:
T-Mobile UK are in fact port blocking to ensure fair usage on their base Web and Walk Plan. I have upgraded to Web and Walk Plus and as a result the port blocks are lifted and I get a higher data allowance!
We were also recently contacted by T-Mobile UK, who stated the following:
Any smart phone (iphone, android etc) that is bought directly from T-Mobile should be automatically provisioned with Web n Walk plus, if customers have bought a handset sim free then they will need to call customer services and get this added. For songs, this should only happen to songs purchased from the iTunes Store that were purchase more than a few years ago, when the songs had DRM (copy protection). More recent song purchases from the iTunes Store do not have DRM.
To authorize your computer, from the iTunes menu bar, under Store, select Authorize This Computer. When prompted, enter the Apple ID (with password) used to purchase the songs. If your currently used Apple ID is different, one computer can be authorized for more than one Apple ID, so that is not a problem.
Each Apple ID can be authorized with up to five computers (including computers you no longer have but did not deauthorize). If you have reached that limit, please post back.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

First, how are you trying to play them? You need to play them by clicking on library on the left side of iTunes and clicking on music. The whle song will play by doing this.
