Sorry but no not through Apple and probably not through 3rd party services either (and this would almost definitely void your warranty)
However you can buy an external battery for it if this is a viable alternative for you. http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipod/ipod_accessories/power
There are also cases for the iPhone which double up as a battery however I could not find any on the Apple Store for iPod

After that, you could use DVDSP and multiple computers to create your own networked rendering or purchase specific hardware for the MacPro for MPEG encoding. And these rendering cards start at $2,000 last I looked.

It is not too difficult in Illustrator.
Presuming the values are the side lengths, you may turn on the Smart Guides and:
1) Create a circle with its centre at X=Y=0 and with its radius equalling the first side length;
2) Create another circle with its centre at X equalling the second side length and Y = 0, and with its radius equalling the third side length;
3) With the Pen Tool click at the centres of the circles (Smart Guides say centre), then at one of the intersections of the circles (Smart Guides say intersect), then back at the first centre;
4) Delete the circles, and if needed Object>Transform>Rotate/Reflect/Move/whatever for the right orientation/position.
Obviously, you may use any order of the predefined sidelengths from the beginning.

Thanks Kappy, I let it do the scan and when it stopped halfway through and demanded registration I stopped and deleted it. I still have the icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen and don't know how to remove it. If this is not possible I can live with it. I am new to Mac and have trouble divorcing myself from my old PC habits!

I recently purchased a new macbook and am having trouble syncing my iPhone with the iTunes. It won't allow me to delete any of the music on my phone, so I am unable to make room for the new software upgrade. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Does anyone know how to enable editing on a new computer? I only have an 8gb phone and over 4gbs of music, half of which I don't even listen to anymore. I really want it off my phone, but when I plugged it into my new macbook nothing would delete. My old computer barely turns on so I can't even plug it into the old one to delete anything. I hit the sync button on the new computer and that didn't help either. I'd really like to upgrade to the new software but don't have the room on my phone until this music/a few apps are deleted. Here are two screen shots to show you what I am seeing. The first screen shot shows it allowing me to select (highlighted in blue) my admin user (which is what I am locced in as). The second screen shot shows it allowing me to select the "Guest" user (highlighted in blue). However when I click on the user "Orion" nothing happens. It will not change to highlight that user.

If I go tot this window on finder and enter Time Machine I can go back and find old notes...
If so, am I doing this on my new hard drive on on the time machine? When I do this on the time machine, what is "my home"? Also, I am unable to find "containers".
If I go to users/jeff/library, then I see components, compositions, contextual, etc, but not containers.

I have had this same issue but thankfully fixed it. Follow he steps below:
Sync your iPhone with you iTunes therefore your info is backed up. Unplug your phone.
Go to Settings > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
Once your phone has reset and come back on answer the question until it asks if you want to back up from itunes Click this then plug your phone in.
After everything has sync'd back to your phone everything should work fine.

No. The Download is the operating system. It won't damage it because its released by Apple and signed to work on it.
It will update the Operating system to the newer version.

HP couldn't find its own apps with both hands and a flashlight.
As of Lion all scanning functions are incorporated natively in OS X. You can scan three ways:
Use Preview: File > Import from scanner
Use Image Capture
(Preview and Image Capture are both in your Applications folder.)
System Preferences > Print & Scan. Select your HP and use the Scan tab.
If you have HP's "Image Zone" software installed, you no longer need it and it no longer works anyway.
