Does the apple warranty on my iphone cover me if my charger stops working? Can i exchange for a new one for free?
My charger has developed one of those wrinkles near the plug and only works if I hold it a certain way and push it in weird. I want a new charger from Apple but don't want to pay for it. I bought a warranty along with my iPhone 5s and the worker said I would get a free phone if I broke mine since I had a warranty, he also said something about a new charger. Can I take my broken one into the store and trade it in for a new one for free since I have the warranty?
Matters what model you want to trade it in for, if it's the same than yes. If it's a cheaper one they're going to give you how much more money your current phone is worth compared to your new phone. Also, for the charger that depends on our plan and Apple

Mine won't answer, it wont turn on, i tried asking a specialist and he said apple used to exchange recent iphones for second-hand ones for around 300€. Is it still the case?
That is one option.
If no longer under warranty, another option is taking it to an independent cell phone repair shop.
Another option is trying to sell it as is and use the proceeds to purchase a new iPhone. -
Yesterday, i plugged in headphones, and when i took them out, it said headphones were still in it when i tried to change the volume. Now it cannot play any volume, or take in any volume, unless you have headphones plugged in and the have a built in microphone. Since i got my ipod less than a year ago, will i get a new one for free?

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted. -

Having said that, here are two thoughts:
1. Did you sign a form when you left your old iPhone with Apple? You might consider reading that form. It may help.
2. You might consider telephoning the Apple Store and ask them about resetting your old iPhone. -
Years and years ago when I paid for an email address with mac.com I opened my itunes account and all. After getting tired of paying for an email account I made a new one, which I can't remember but I thought I changed it, but obviously the .mac stayed on. My itunes is a gmail account and I have no problems there. But today when I updated my iphone, after downloading, iphone asked me to enter password for the .mac account. Well I have no idea what that is now. I don't know how to even retrieve it. I can't find the settings to change it over to my gmail account either on my phone. I go to itunes and it has the gmail account listed, but when trying to activate some things that involved the update, it still asks for .mac account password. I'm beginning to think this is why I can't get authorization on some of my itune songs to play, they keep saying can't authorize when I am still within the 5 computer limit. I think I'm going to get a Droid...

If you are seeing the old Apple ID with regard to this Mac, then it would seem that somehow you have incorporated the ID in the setup of this new Mac.
Iphoto i use never used imovie.
If you began using iPhoto without having Accepted it into your Apple ID, then that would explain why you are unable to update the app. If any of the iLife apps are used without Accepting them into your Apple ID, the ability to accept them will lapse and you will not be able to update them. -

Would Apple exchange my Macbook for a new one for free?
Will Apple exchange my Macbook for another without having to pay the '10% Restocking Fee'? It has been under 2 weeks since I've bought my Macbook. The reason I want to exchange it is because:
Ever since I've installed the latest updates, my Macbook has been performing like a 1980 computer, not a 2007 computer. Since I've installed the updates, it has:
1.) Loading pages on the internet has slowed down by ALOT. I mean it takes about 20 seconds to load the Apple.com page.
2) My download speed has slowed down to about 60/KB per sec. It used to be about 600/KB per sec.
3) Videos take FOREVER to load, as if I had dial-up. I have Cable Internet.
4) Games I play lag WAY more then they did before the updates. A game has even froze. It never used to do this.
Would Apple replace my Macbook for free? And is it worth returning, I mean, Would a HD format or something fix my problems?

Ipad 3rd gen kept shutting off. Had to restart and log back on to internet with password. backed up and did restore.

If I connect to my Airport Extreme on the 5Ghz channel, Dictation continues to have issues. However, when I switched to the 2.4Ghz channel dictation has been working great now for a while.
The dictation option is still missing under General>Settings>Keyboard however.
Not sure at all what one would have to do with the other? but hey, if it's working then I'm going with it for now. :-) -

No. iPads that have any type of denting or physical damage (old or new) are not covered under the warranty. Apple would have no way of determining when the damage was done or if that damage caused your present issue.
I believe that once they see physical damage, their reasoning for voiding the warranty would be that visible, physical damage, irregardless of when it ocurred. -

No. Terms of the warranty call that "abuse".
You can hope, and try:
Turn it off, leave it off
Put it in a pile of "dessicant packs" (shipping packs found in hard disk boxes), possibly in a plastic bag (NOT rice -- that has rice-dust which gets into the unit)
Maybe try turning it on again in about 4-5 days
But this is really a desperation move, and I would not do it myself (although others say they have tried it).
Most likely you are paying for either a repair or a new unit. -

i was doing the software update to my iphone 4s and my phone died. i pluged it in and when it turned on after the white apple the screen showes the blue itunes logo over the word itunes over an image of a charger. i tried reseting my phone. i cant figure out how to get past this point
