Does the book print gray pages? please help

i know within the book you can make a page a blank page with no photos, however i am using the contemporary template and you can have the option of three photos on a page. i like the way it looks with one photo all the way to the left and the other two spaces left blank. the problem is, the other spaces are left gray. will they print gray? will they print white? will it be auto adjusted for me when printed? i tried highlighting these areas and going to "blank" but it made the whole page blank.

Actually, it IS possibly to plain print gray pages or any color you like. Using Photoshop or any similar program, create a new document that is the size of your book pages, such as 11 by 8.5 (Photoshop command File>New...), fill the page with a solid color or anything you like (Layer>New Fill Layer>Solid Color...), then save the document as a JPG or other standard image format (File>Save As...). Then go back to iPhoto and import the colored page you just created (File>Import to Library...). Drag the imported page into your book and place it wherever you like. Similarly, you can print book pages with textures, stripes, pink polka dots, or any design you can imagine. Have fun!

I am totally new to Apple and to computers as well. And my English is not so good, unfortunately! :-( So please have a little p... with me.
I tried to write my notes about the books I red in Word for Apple and in Excel for Apple but both are not good for me. The Word doesn't show me all books of an author easy and Excel for Apple is very difficult to write in for me.
I wonder if you know about a little program which could have some kind of sheets with few litle fields for datum, writer, title and so on, and one bigger one for few sentences about the book. It is important that I could easy find and see all sheets with the same author or same title and so on.
I would be very grateful if someone can tell me which program use "Apple people" when they have a similar need?

For me, the best app for organize bibliographic info is Mendeley, because it automaticaly extracts all the information from the PDFs (books & articles).

Iphoto fails to upload book in the store. Always worked before. The book has 96 pages. Please help!

Iphoto is unable to upload my new photo book in the store for printing. I have done it several times withouth problems. Keeps giving me the same error message "...failed asset upload...cancel order or try again". tried 10 times. Also done preview and saved as pdf. The book is 96 pages, I read max is 100.
Can anybody help please.!!??

Make a temporary, backup copy of your library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and apply the fix below:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #1, followed by #3 and then #4 as needed.
After each run thru the repair process see if you can create a PDF file of the book as described in this Apple Document: iPhoto '11: Preview a book, card, or calendar before you order or print it. If you can try ordering the book. If you can't finish trying all of the otpions and then boot into Safe mode and try there.

When I click 'view' , I can "show inspector". From the table tab, I can pull up the "Format". [See below]. I don't see the "Arrange" or "Object Placement Move with Text"
Right now I have the Wrap Text On. When I take it off, It messes up my rows [see second image].
All I want is for my column to flow onto the second page.

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Flattening and merging are very similar. The main difference is merging keeps the transparent areas, whereas flattening removes all transparent areas by giving it a white background. A good example of flattening is a jpg image.
Since you have closed the file by closing photoshop, that means that the history is now gone, no way of undoing.
So that leaves you with two choices.
You can either recreate the whole document.
Or you can make selections of areas you are keeping and moving them one at a time to new layers. Keep each object on a separate layer. Then redo the area behind those objects.

iCloud will not sycn a calendar from an external source. In order to use iCloud to sync it, you would have to move it to iCloud and stop using Google. I know how to do that on a Mac, but I'm not sure how to do it on a PC. If you're using Outlook, I suspect you export it as an .ics file to your desktop, then import it to the iCloud account in Outlook. I'm sure you could use Google to find the specific steps.
However, there's really no reason not to just use Google to sync your calendar across your devices. Instead, just continue to use Goole calendar on all your devices and they should stay in sync. Take a look at this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0Jj0KFgbYI.

Well, assuming all of the above, Notifications, etc., it just might be time for a visit to the Apple tore genius center for a session with the techs. See if it is a fault in the hardware or just an iOS reinstall is the answer.
One more thing you could try, backup so you have a record of content, then restore to factory conditions be an Erase All Contents and Settings. Then restore from the backup you just made. That has helped some with WiFi problems, may be it would work with your problems.
But with that behavior of another app with problems, the geniuses looks like a less stressful thing to do.
