Doubt about Report Suite Office in SCCM 2012

Hi all,
I have a question about Suite Office in SCCM 2012.
Why in my report 07B - Computers that recently used a specified executable program
when I specific Office 2010 don't display nothing about Outlook?
Just display follows softwares: Word,Excel,PowerPoint,Visio and Project. Someone have idea?
Thanks.

Do you have Software Metering enabled for that executable?
Mike Leach | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/mleach/default.aspx
Mike Thank's your opinion...my answer....Yes, I do.My software metering is OK.
My doubt is why Microsoft Outlook don't display as being part suite Office?
Is necessary I select Microsoft Outlook (separately) for do my software metering but I think this is not correct, because the correct is suite Office contains: Word,Excel,Visio,Project,Powerpoint
and Outlook...
So when I selected Microsoft Office 2010 display all softwares as I saw in my first post and any about Outlook.
Thanks any suggestions.

This is known to happen if you modified any of the default reports

  • Problem with uninstalling Office 2013 SCCM 2012 R2

Hi, I am in a process of learning SCCM 2012 R2. Currently I am focused on application management so I started by deploying Office 2013 to test collection with only one member - direct rule membership by computer name. Deployment process finished without
any problems - I kicked off installation from Software Center on client machine. Having installed Office 2013 I tried to uninstall it but I got an error: Setup can't find or validate an installation file. Please try reinstalling . . . . In SCCM server I entered:
    setup.exe /uninstall ProPlus /config .\ProPlus.ww\Uninstall.xml
in uninstall program line. Uninstall.xml file is nothing special:
    <Configuration Product=”ProPlus”>
    <Display Level=”basic” CompletionNotice=”yes” SuppressModal=”yes” AcceptEula=”yes” />
    </Configuration>
I tried to uninstall Office 2013 from cmd line but I got the same error. I can manually uninstall Office 2013 by running setup.exe file and following wizard but that does not mean anything to me except it proves installation files are not corrupted. Office
2013 installation .iso file is downloaded from MS Volume Licensing Service Center.

    In SCCM server I entered: setup.exe /uninstall ProPlus /config .\ProPlus.ww\Uninstall.xml
    in uninstall program line.
I've responded in your other thread:
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/fd735611-95bf-46f6-8add-2229a52e3e93/i-can-not-uninstall-office-2013-from-command-line?forum=officeitpro
Hi, your command-line is not valid - you are using a "relative" path for the <config.xml> and that is not supported..
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc178956(v=office.15).aspx#BKMK_config
Note: You must use a fully qualified path. Setup does not recognize relative paths with /config.
Instead, I suggest that you copy your "Uninstall.xml" file to the same folder where setup.exe exists, then, adjust your command-line like this:
    setup /uninstall ProPlus /config Uninstall.xml
    Don

  • Doubt about Report - Task Sequence - Deployments

    Hello,
I have a doubt about this report Summary report for a task sequence deployment in Task Sequence - Deployments.
Last Friday I did deployed in 6 desktop ran this report and display my 6 desktop's all right.
Today a run this report and display no data.
Why occurred this? Anyone have idea?
I think this report have display me all data about my task sequence specific.
    Thanks.

Are you sure the deployment wasn't deleted or recreated?
Query your DB and see what the NumberInstalled says.  That should show you 6 were installed.  You just need the Deployment ID added to this query below.
    select *
    from dbo.DeploymentSummary
    where
OfferID = 'YOUR DEPLOYMENT ID HERE'
    Best, Jacob I'm a PC.
My TS wasn't modified or recreated, but in DB display NumberInstalled = 0.
Anyone have modify this TS since last friday, I don't know the reason this happened.
I will do news deploys and see this report after if still have same issue.
    Thanks your opinion.

  • Doubt about Report:: Count users by domain

    Guys,
when I run report: Count users by domain, display my domain XXX and some hostnames users logged in my domain and 15 users logged locally.
Well, some users after 2 weeks already logged in domain but in my report still display info user logged locally.
    Why this?
Is there someone I do run manually for not display more this users now log on in domain but display logged locally? I think this only cache, but I don't want my report contains data wrong.
    Any idea?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
If you are talking about the information in report "Users in a specific domain", the information are collected by hardware inventory. SCCM collects inventories on a periodic basis, not real-time. You could initiate Hardware Inventory Cycle from client to
accelerate the speed for updating data.

  • Doubt About Report Software Metering

    Hello Guys,
I create my rule about metering for SoftwareX and is OK, run with success.
I have 2 computers(PC01,PC02) where I uninstall SoftwareX but when I run after 72hours Report: Computers that have run a specific metered software program ....still display PC01 and PC02 has SoftwareX metered.
My doubt is I set Software Metering Properties for 45 days, follow:
Will it take 45 days for PC1 and PC2 doesn't display more in my Report? Is this right?
If isn't right, how I can fix this for doesn't display SoftwareX if was uninstall in PC1 and PC2? My hardware inventory run ever 24hs and 24hs.
    Thanks a lot.

Correct it will take ~45 days for the data to be removed from CM12.

  • Doubt about report FBL5N of screen field:Open items and Cleared items

    hi
i know the report FBL5N is use DDF LDB and the report work flow is BSID->BKFP->BSEG
but i don't know to differentiate Open Items and Cleared items in this report.
Open items and Cleared items stand for a field flag in these table (BSID,BKFP,BSEG )? if true the field is?
or they must be calc in program ? if true what about calc rules?
    waiting for help! thank you!

    Hi,
Here is the difference in Open Items and Cleared Items.
In FI first the document is Open (when it is posted) so the entry is made in table BSID. Once the document is cleared, it will move from BSID to BSAD. And for Cleared item you will see Clearing Document no and Clearing date values updated (these are blank when the item is open).
The only difference in Open and Cleared is via Clearing Document and Clearing Date. If the values are present, it means document is cleared.
    Hope this helps.

  • Needing feedback for doubts about my almost-a-week-old 2012 MBP

I have a 2012 model, the base-15-inch one from 2012. It's been almost a week since I bought it from the store (an iShop, which is a chain of "premium" Apple resellers in Mexico). Although it's nearly new and expectations leave no room for unpleasant details, obviously, I've started noticing these details, which actually make me somewhat anxious:
The most relevant one: I can hear noises when opening the lid. They resemble those plastic cracking, as if something about the hinges was incorrectly adjusted, and it's annoying. It also worries me that, further on, I could start having real problems with the screen angles, positioning and whatnot, due to a wear-down of these parts. The screen also closes a bit harder than what I could consider as normal. I took it to the store from where I bought the laptop and I got told that the noises were "normal" (as if everyone else should expect to hear the same), and that the feeling of the lid closing abruptly was because it's "new", so it needs to be used more in order for the screen to move more smoothly. I ended up feeling very frustrated because I think they just wanted to convince me of sticking with this one, when, actually, I visited the store because of the 5-day-warranty they announce about changing the whole thing for a new one. It was the last day. I need helpful opinions about this: What should I do? Should I worry? Is it normal as they say?, because it doesn't seem that much to me.
The color or birghtness on the very borders of the LED screen appear to be lighter.
The LEDs that show when the computer is in stand-by appear to be a bit dimmed on the left side, very subtly, but still.
    Software:
It just happened twice that, when just opening iTunes, the window appeared behind the top bar. The first time I couldn't move the window.
When I change from one full-screen to the main one, the "top bar" (what's the proper name?) makes a glitchy move to the right, really quick.
I need some opinions regarding what I should worry about in each case, and what I should do, too. I still have the 1-year Apple warranty, though, naturally speaking.

I have 2 MBP's tah make a slighthoise when opening and closing them, been like that for years. The other issues are not right. I would bring it in ans equest a new one.  Hurry:)

    Thanks,

If you don't have DNS entry for your Report Service Point (SQL server), the instance field can be blank too.
Can you expand on this as I have never heard of this issue before.

  • Reports not working after upgrade to SCCM 2012 R2 -

I have removed the Reporting Services Point and reinstalled it with no effect.  All reports I try get the error listed above.
    Any suggestions?

The issue has been resolved.  For anyone experiencing a similar issue I will post the fix that worked for us below:
I ended up opening a PSS case and in this instance the problem was the required SQL management provider was not properly registered in WMI, which ultimately meant the reporting point upgrade/install was not able to complete successfully after the upgrade.
As a result the updated reports were not properly being redeployed to the Reporting Service Point.
To diagnose this on the Reporting Service Point look in the srsrp.log for entries indicating of an
Invalid Class, as seen in the example below:
    Invalid class SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT 11/6/2013 5:47:12 PM 6096 (0x17D0)

    Timed Out... SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT 11/6/2013 5:48:13 PM 6096 (0x17D0)
The important part is the lines saying Invalid Class and then it timing out, so the RP installation was not completed.
As mentioned earlier the WMI class that was missing or corrupt was the SQL management Provider.  To re-register the class we need to compile the MOF file that is available in SQL.  In our instance the command to run was:
    mofcomp "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Shared\sqlmgmproviderxpsp2up.mof"
Once that was done, monitoring the srsrp.log shows that it could properly detect the SSRS service, stop it and start coping the updated reports and such.  After a few minutes the deploy completed, and all the broken reports started working
    correctly.
    Hope that helps someone else.
