Doubt in client proxy

Hi All,
I am trying to do the client proxy scenario, my scenario is to fetch the material data from R/3 and place it in a file. from material master i am taking 4 fields data matnr,mbrsh,mtart,meins and created a program to fetch the data for those fields. please find the code below
REPORT  ZABAP_PROXY.
DATA : Proxy TYPE REF TO ZDEV1CO_MI_MATERIAL_OB. " Class name
DATA :  It TYPE ZDEV1MT_MATERIAL. " outbound interface name
DATA : It_mara like mara occurs 0 with header line.
CREATE OBJECT proxy.
TRY.
  SELECT * from MARA into table It_mara where ersda eq sy-datum.
loop at it_mara.
move-corresponding : it_mara to it-Mt_Material.
endloop.
  CALL METHOD PROXY->EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS
    EXPORTING
      OUTPUT = It.
    COMMIT WORK.
  CATCH cx_ai_system_fault.
    DATA fault TYPE REF TO cx_ai_system_fault.
    CREATE OBJECT fault.
    WRITE:/ fault->errortext.
In order to test this scenario i am doing in the following way.
first i am executing my abap program and then going to tcode sproxy and choose our outbound message interface and execute  then i will get the one screen where i will input sender service , sender name space sender interface and checked the check box generate template data and i am getting the data in the file in destination system byt iam getting data as This is a string 1, this is a string 2 .. etc. but not the actucal data from material master. knidly syggest me the way i am following is correct or wrong and provide me some solution for this
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Prem.S

Aarthi,
If i didn't check the check box Generate Template data  then i am getting empty values as like below :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
- <ns1:Mt_Material xmlns:ns1="urn://clientproxy.com" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
  <Matnr />
  <Mbrsh />
  <Mtart />
  <Meins />
  </ns1:Mt_Material>
how can i get the values from data base related to material , is there any procedure to execute other than this.

  • How to determine the sender business system for ABAP client proxy

    Hi All,
    I have one doubt: when the client proxy sends the message to XI, how could i know what is the sender business system name for it?
    Is it the logical system which is reflected in Technical System?
    let's say if i have the ABAP system, the technical system is ECC, which has three clients: 001, 066 and 000.
    And the client 001's logical system in ECCCLNT001 (all the client proxy is created in this client). In this case, the sender business system name is ECCCLNT001, am i right?
    If no, please correct me.
    Thanks in advance
    Leo

    Hi lawrence
    When data is distributed between different systems, each system within a network has to be clearly identifiable. The u201Clogical systemu201D deals with this issue.
    A logical system is an application system in which the applications work together on a common data basis. In SAP terms, the logical system is a client.
    Since the logical system name is used to identify a system uniquely within the network, two systems cannot have the same name if they are connected to each other as BW systems or as source systems, or if there are plans to connect them in any way.
    Although SAP does not recommend that you connect test systems to production systems, a test system can have the same name as a production system. This makes copying production systems to test systems a lot simpler.
    You are only allowed to change the logical system name of a system if the system is not connected to any other systems, because changing the logical system name would render all the connections to other systems useless.
    Logical system names must contain capital letters and numbers only. SAP recommends the following naming convention for logical system names: <System-ID>CLNT<Client>.

  • Doubt on server proxy and file to idoc scenario

    Hi,
         I could able to solve most of my doubts from this forum, many regards to all who assisted me.Here are some simple doubts plz help me in solving them.
              1.In FILE to PROXY scenario is it necessary to create rfc destination on IS and receiver system? becoz in some blogs it is written to create RFC dest only in case of CLIENT PROXY,since we XI adapter to connect receiver syst in case of server proxy?
              2.In FILE to IDOC scen at receiver side is it necessary to formalities in SM59,WE21,WE20 or just configure in WE20 to maintain partner profile?
              3. In case of single SLD for DEV,CON,PROD while transferring from DEV TO CON using file system how do we move file in EXPORT DIRECTORY TO IMPORT DIRECTORY of cons system?
              4.for transporting IR objects we can use TRANSPORT LIST or CHANGE LIST which will be more preferable?
              Plz kindly answer to any of questions u know ?
              Points will be rewarded for valuable answers.

    > becoz in some blogs it is written to create RFC dest

    > connect receiver syst in case of server proxy?
    You need to maintain the setting on your R3 system to connect to XI for the Transaction SPROXY as shown in the blog "How to Activate ABAP Proxies".
    Apart from that as you are doing a file to proxy via XI, XI would need to send data to the R3 system . For this, you can either key in the Details of the R3 system in the XI adapter directly or you can maintain a HTTP destination on your XI in SM59 and use this in the XI adaper.
    > 2.In FILE to IDOC scen at receiver side is
    > it necessary to formalities in SM59,WE21,WE20 or
    >  just configure in WE20 to maintain partner profile?
    Just the partner porfile. SM 59 and We 21 are used for port and RFC destination and as it is XI that is posting the Idoc these steps are not needed on R3
    > 3. In case of single SLD for DEV,CON,PROD
    > while transferring from DEV TO CON using file system
    > how do we move file in EXPORT DIRECTORY TO IMPORT
    >  DIRECTORY of cons system?
    You have to go to the Folder Level / OS level of your XI server, copy the files from the Export DIrectory and move these manually to the import folder of the CONS server. This is for both IR and ID objects.
    > 4.for transporting IR objects we can use
    > TRANSPORT LIST or CHANGE LIST which will be more
    >  preferable?
    If you perfrom File Transport, the imported objects will be available under the Import Change List and you need to activate this Import Change List.

  • Client Proxy Question

    Hi all,
    Initially, when we have created a client proxy in ECC 5.0 with Oracle on Windows,
    we have chosen Local File as the WSDL source. We had the WSDL saved locally.
    This way we have generated a Client Proxy in SE80.
    Then we created a logical port using LPCONFIG.
    Since this the default logical port, we just saved it with all the settings imported
    from the WSDL definition.
    This way the Client proxy was working fine.
    The doubt that I have is, later on, if we want to just change the URL under
    call paramters in LPCONFIG to the URL of the WSDL residing on some
    other server(Non SAP), will the client proxy work?

  • How to call ABAP client proxy?

    Hello,
    I am getting confused with ABAP client proxy now.
    I've defined a outbound service interface (Message Interface) in PI, based on the service interface I generated the ABAP client proxy in the abap backend system. There are two possible ways to configuration the integration scenario for this interface:
    1) use the proxy as web service consumer for scenario like:  ws consumer --> PI
    2) No web service, just proxy like:  Proxy --> PI
    Now I've configured a logical port (as default logical port) for scenario 1.
    I wrote a ABAP program to call the proxy to send out message to PI. To call the proxy we instantiate the proxy like:
    CREATE OBJECT proxy  EXPORTING    logical_port_name = p_port.
    proxy->myOperation( ...  ).
    Now if I specify the logical_port_name, I think the local IE in the abap system knows to send out the message using web service (scenario 1). However if I do NOT specify logical_port_name, how the local IE knows which way to send out the message? Using web service with the default logica port, or directly  post the message to the centrl IE pipeline using the second scenario ?
    Anybody can clarify my doubts?
    Thanks
    Eric

    Eric
    The answer to your question lies in the method CREATE_FRAMEWORK of class CL_PROXY_FRAMEWORK_OUTBOUND. In this method, you will see method GET_SOAP_APPLICATION of class CL_SRT_LP_MAINTANENCE is checked to see which adapter to use (i.e WS runtime or XI runtime).
    Anyway, to give a straight answer to your question, if you maintained an endpoint for your interface in tcode SOAManager, the WS runtime/adapter is used to send the message to Integration server. If there is no endpoint maintained, then it uses the XI runtime (or the traditional proxy adapter).
    Now, as far as logical port goes, if you didn't give a value when calling the proxy client class and you didn't maintain an endpoint in SOAManager, then XI runtime is used.
    If you didn't pass a value to logical port but you maintained an endpoint which the default logical port, then the same is used and communication happens through WS adapter.
    If you didn't pass a value to logical port but you maintained an endpoint and didn't mark the port as default, then a WS runtime exception is raised.
    Hope this answers your question. For more information, try to take a look in the classes mentioned above.

  • RFC calls & Synchronous Client Proxy

    If I want to execute a Synchronous Client Proxy, sending request to XI and waiting for response from XI, do I HAVE TO define and import a RFC structure ?
    My doubt is whether implementing RFC is a must in this case, or we can just define a equivalent structure (to the RFC structure: request & response), define all the mapping and create the proxy accordingly and it will work?
    Your help is appreciated.

    Hi!
    No, you don't need to do that. Simply define your interface and generate proxies.

  • Question Regarding Client Proxy configuration.

    Hi All,
    I am configuring Client Proxy for my scenarios in which I have to fetch data from ECC server for my XI server. I am following the steps as provided in the following blog:
    How do you activate ABAP Proxies?
    Now when I have created the RFCs i.e LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI in ECC System I have a doubt that where should I maintain the program ID of these RFCs i.e whether in J2ee engine of XI or ECC??
    Also if possible plz send me the other visual admin configurations for these RFC and exactly where these settings should be done and what values to be provided.

  • Client proxy Null pointer exception

    Folks,
    I have a problem with ABAP client proxy. The scenario runs fine, but a few messages does not enter XI pipeline with a null pointer exception in RWB. When I click on Message Content of these errored messages, I get
    500   Internal Server Error
      SAP J2EE Engine/7.00
    Application error occurred during request processing.
      Details:   Error [javax.servlet.ServletException: null], with root cause [java.lang.NullPointerException: null].
    Exception id: [00096BDD38BA00480003206B00002EE7000447B40745C832]
    The strangest thing is if I retrigger the same message for processing from ABAP proxy, the message gets processed successfully.
    Even in the successfully reprocessed errored message, I am not able to view the message content. I am able to view the message content in SXMB_MONI with out any problem.
    Any ideas what could be the reason.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Jaishankar

    Hi Ramakrishna,
    I doubt Timeout is the cause for this problem coz. we used to get Time out errored messages apart from the Null pointer Exception messages. When I resend a Timedout message from RWB it gets processed sucessfully. But when I resend a null pointer exception message from RWB, the same error occurs again. Only if I resend the message from R/3 it is getting processed successfully.
    I will try this setting too. Thanks for sharing.

  • Error in creation of client proxy.

    Hello all,
    I try to consume a webservice in SAP ABAP. When i create the service consumer proxy it is giving an error message llike
    "Incorrect value: Unknown QName http://wholesale...........................sendeWholesaleMeldungRequest"
    Have anyone come across this error scenario.
    I m using SAP ECC 6.0.

    Sandep.

    Hi Sandeep,
    --->While creating client Proxy object to consume the webservice a pop will raise with 4 radio buttons options,i think you had selected any one of that depending upon your requirement,rite,If not do that and try.
    -->If you have the WSDL file in your local system select the Radio Button WSDL and import it into your Client Proxy.
    -->Also create the Logical Port.
    Thanks

  • ** Logical Port in Client Proxy

    Hi Friends,
    I am doing proxy to web service scenario. My proxy is client proxy. After I created proxy, I checked that.  There is no standard method 'EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONUS'.   I read the Michal's blog /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2009/06/20/pixi-abap-proxies-say-goodbye-to-executeasynchronous-method and understand that this method is not created. The reason is that  SAP_BASIS support package level is 15. (Release 700) in our R/3 ECC 6.0 system.
    Now, I am not able to test my proxy from SPROXY tcode. It asks Logical Port.
    1. Can you tell me, what is logical port ? How do I create this in LPCONFIG tcode ?
    2. Once this is done, can I call the class with the method like in older version ?
    3. Currently I am getting the information 'No vendor specified' while test proxy withe empty logical port.
    Expecting your reply.
    Kind regards,
    Jegathees P.

    Hi Rene,
    If a logical port is not configured, the X/PI Runtime will be used instead.
    In Jegathees' case, this is probably what happened. If you want to route your message through PI then you need to make sure that you are pointing to your Integration Server (i.e. PI), on ECC use transaction code SXMB_ADM --> Integration Engine Configuration. Role of Business System should be "Application System" and "Corresp. Integration Server" should be your PI server.
    You will see when you test your client proxy (using TCode SPROXY) you have the option of choosing XI Runtime - or - Logical port too.

  • Error at creating Client Proxy of external webservice (WSDL)

    Hi Experts,
    I try to create a Client Proxy Object out of an external webservice. Here is the WSDL URL:
    [http://www.webservicex.net/CurrencyConvertor.asmx?wsdl]
    I try to create it with this URL and then I get the error message
    Not implemented
    Exception of class CX_SIDL_INTERNAL_ERROR
    I found two other threads with a similar problem:
    cunsuming external webservice in ABAP
    Problem while consuming external webservice
    But there is no solution that worked for me. In the first thread it is mentioned, that the code between
    <wsdl:binding name="XXXXHttpGet" type="tns:XXXHttpGet">
    and it's closing brackets should be removed in a local file. I tried that and was able to create a client proxy object out of this local wsdl-file. But then I called the webservice with the folling coding for testing:
    report  z_currency_converter.
    data: convert type ref to zzzco_currency_convertor_soap.
    try.
        create object convert
      exporting
        logical_port_name  = 'Z_LP'
      catch cx_ai_system_fault .
    endtry.
       data: output type zzzconversion_rate_soap_out  .
       data: input type zzzconversion_rate_soap_in .
       input-from_currency = 'EUR'.
       input-to_currency = 'USD'.
    try.
    call method convert->conversion_rate
      exporting
        input  = input
      importing
        output = output
    catch cx_ai_system_fault .
    catch cx_ai_application_fault .
    endtry.
    write output-conversion_rate_result.
    The same code worked fine in another system. In this "older" system could also create a client proxy, I think because it has a newer Support Pack version.
    SAP says the following:
    The problem is that this WSDL uses two bindings different from SOAP
    binding which is not in conformance with Basic Profile 1.1 -
    http://www.ws-i.org/Profiles/BasicProfile-1.1.html#WSDLBINDINGS .
    I looked in the document, but I do not know where the problem in the WSDL file exactly is. What have I to change? Or can somebody give me the URL of a free webservice, that you used for creating a client proxy with a new support pack standing? In the "old" system there is not yet the SOAMANAGER but in the one where it doesn't work.
    I hope you have an idea.
    Thanks a lot in advance!
    Best Regards,
    Ingmar

    I think it is the problem of version.U need to ask SAP to release some patch levels to correct it.

  • Error while creating a client proxy for CBR.RU

    Hi!
    I need to consume web service. Here is the link: http://www.cbr.ru/DailyInfoWebServ/DailyInfo.asmx?WSDL
    I tried to make an own client proxy with SE80 transaction. (edit object->enterprise services -> client proxy -> create) After completing wizard an error occurs with text:
    Incorrect value: Unknown Namespace http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema
    The same schema works perfecrly with this web service:
    http://www.deeptraining.com/webservices/wsStrings.asmx?WSDL
    In this case proxy class is created with no errors and everything is fine.
    Could anybody let me know what's the reason of such bug, please? I'm not competent with XML schemas so it's kind of difficult to understand what's wrong with WSDL file from CBR.RU

    Late response I know, but I have solved a similar problem recently and thought I would share.
    Firstly, the problem is not with the namespace. The "Namespace ..." part is just stating the namespace the "Incorrect Value" has. So this error is complaining about the value "Unknown" - which isn't very helpful.
    It appears the SAP SE80 importer does not like elements like the following because it can't understand <s:element ref="s:schema" />. It appears this is a common thing to be included in .NET generated WSDLs.
     <s:element minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1" name="GetCursDynamicResult">      <s:complexType>          <s:sequence>               <s:element ref="s:schema" />               <s:any />          </s:sequence>     </s:complexType></s:element>
    SAP will also not like this example as it does not support mixed content (see: http://www.w3schools.com/schema/schema_complex_mixed.asp)
    <s:element minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1" name="SaldoXMLResult">
         <s:complexType mixed="true">
              <s:sequence>
                   <s:any />
              </s:sequence>
         </s:complexType>
    </s:element>
    You can "Fix" the problem in both cases by removing the offending text in a local copy of the WSDL file so remove line 4 in the first example and change line 2 in the second to <s:complexType> the proxy can then be generated. No idea if the resulting service will be fully operational though!

  • Error while creating Client Proxy from SE80

    Hi all,
    I am trying to create Client Proxy with WSDL through SE80. There is no involvement of XI to create the Proxy.
    I am using the option 'Local file' and uploading the wsdl file.
    But I am getting the following errors.
    "Proxy-Generierung: Fehler aufgetreten"
    "Exception occurred in library handler"
    "Illegal syntax: Element header has invalid enhancement attribute
    http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/:required"
    If any one could understand them and worked in a similar scenario, pls help me out.
    regards,
    teja.

    hi,
    you might want to post the WSDL in question for us to have a look at.
    but actually, the error message tells a lot:
    http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/:required
    the second colon(, the one between wsdl/ and required, makes this expression an illegal one in any kind of a URI-like meaning (namespace, ref-URL, ...)

  • ABAP Client Proxy from ECC 6.0 to XI message irregular recieving

    Hi Gurus
    Any one has come across issue whereby the ECC 6 system trigger ABAP Client proxy to SAP PI 7.0. The first time the PI is able to recieve it in the SXI_MONITOR. But subsequent trigger from the ECC 6.0 system the SAP ABAP program to trigger the Client Proxy, the PI seem to lost connectivity and did not recieve any message. This is pretty strange and hopefully someone in SDN and enlighten me.

    On behalf of malcolm

    Hi Santosh
    I went to SMQR and register the queue, but it still did not reflect the locked queue when i trigger the ECC 6 to SAP PI 7.0. The green flag - schedule still appear in the SXMB_MONI queue. But i am quite puzzle as why the ABAP client proxy after sending message the first time and second time, the third time it stuck? And also it is not practical to everytime go to the SMQ1 or SMQ2 to unlock the queue. I don't think it a good solution for solving my problem, it is just a temporary solution.
