Hi all
I have one doubt in alert. Can we send list of documents like list of sales order, Pos lists etc to inbox or EP alert using sap alert?
i want to send alert to EP and sap inbox
my req.
1. POs pending for invoice verification. POs pending for payment.
2. List of blocked vendors purchase organization wise
3. List of blocked invoices purchase group wise
How can i make alert ? Anyone explain briefly?

HI,
You need to first check all the requirement in Message mapping and if there is any problem with any of these then you can raise an alert.
R u checking your requirement in R3 system?
For your information here are the basis steps which is required for alert configuration.
Function module location will depends upon the situation,
If you want to validate a data which is coming to XI with the data which resides in a R3 table where you will companre the data of file and table and accordingly raise an alert. In that case you should call alert function module at the R3 side to raise an alert. you need to use the lookup for sending the data to R3 end.
Again function module location will depends upon the type of validation.
For raising an alert you need to first configure the alert please follow the below weblog written by Michal Krawczyk

In addition to my reply and you could see other comment in the message, I am sure you are referring to material management alerts in SAP B1. It is actually inventory management but not material management. if you want to create list using query alert, it is possible but the documents are note compressed into one file but it is only displayed row per row. So, you could read my answer in the last paragraph where I stated the documents will be displayed one by one in the inbox (it means row per row).
You could ask me about the alert, about how to develop it.

Doubt on 12c Alert

One doubt, is there an alert in 12c or can be set which will notify us when users account_status comes in to grace time, so we can tell the user / plan to reset the password.

You can do so by creating your own metric using the metric extension option. In 11g this was called User Defined Metric.

Doubt regarding oracle alert message..in apex

I need to have validation messages on my screen immediatley...
i have used plsql block raise _application error dynamic actions to accomplish it If a field is empty and if it goes to some other field then i need the warning message to be dispalyed I am looking for a more better way to acommplish it..Thanks

like no1 is the item and you create validation for no1..
I dont know how to acess.. the second .. field via java script..
Actually speaking not tried java script since am not familiar with it..But will be learning its basic today..

Operations Manager - KMS Idle Minutes Monitor Alerts - False Positives As Event ID 12290 Still Being Logged

Hi all,
I am using System Center 2012 R2 Operations Manager with the Key Management Service Management Pack at version 6.0.7234.0, and I keep receiving the following alert in Operations Manager:
"Idle Minutes Monitor Alert:
Key Management Service (KMS) inactivity exceeded threshold
Knowledge:
Summary:
The purpose of this rule is to alert system administrators to a possible KMS or network outage. This rule monitors the end-to-end operation of KMS activation. A notification event is created by KMS if no activation or renewal requests were logged by KMS
(activity event 12290) in the specified time interval. In addition to new activations, periodic renewal requests are expected to occur (default is 7 days). Whether or not this alert is serious depends on the number of machines in the KMS environment, how many
are actually connected, and the configured renewal interval.
Causes:
Any failure or incorrect configuration of the KMS service, other Windows components, firewall, hardware, network or routers can trigger the Idle Minutes Alert. This alert can also result from normal behavior, since it is possible that not enough machines
attempted to activate or renew during the specified time interval.
Resolutions:
The first step is to determine whether there really is a problem. Start with a known good KMS client and run (with elevated privileges) the script slmgr.vbs -ato . If the activation/renewal fails, it will report an error code. You can direct the client to
connect to a specific KMS machine by using the slmgr.vbs -skms option. The request event (12288) and response event (12289) in the Windows Application event log may provide additional information, including the identity of failing KMS machines. If there has
been a failure, check the following:
Software Licensing service (slsvc) is running.
Other KMS machine behavior is normal.
KMS firewall port is open (default is TCP 1688).
Attempt to connect to KMS using telnet to the KMS port(you won’t be able to do anything other than connect)
Use a network monitor (e.g. netmon) to capture and trace network problems.
There is one Idle Minutes Monitor that is used to monitor for activity. It may be desirable to adjust the time threshold, depending on expected KMS activity."
Despite what the alert says, there are activity events with ID 12290 being logged, but they are appearing under the 'Key Management Service' log instead of the general 'Application' log. I know that my clients are activating with the server without
any problems as I have run slmgr.vbs -ato with success on a number of them, and none are stating that activation is required. This issue was previously raised here:

I've checked for all the events that are generated by our servers, and there are periods of time where no requests are received for up to 18 hours, so that is no doubt why the alerts are appearing (we then sometimes see five requests in the same minute,
but there we go). I'll need to adjust the thresholds.

For anyone else who needs to check this, create a PowerShell script using the following content, and place your own details into the relevant sections in bold (without the brackets, of course). This will generate a csv file which will have the server
name in one column and the time that the request event was generated - you can then check the gaps between the requests. The script is quick and dirty, with no checks along the way, so feel free to embellish it as required.

Enabling Global Script Protection is not working while adding "&"

Hi All,
To prevent crosssite scripting attacks I ticked the the check box "Enable Global Script Protection" in CF admin. But it is not working , I mean not able to prevent the scripting attacks.
Steps I followed
1] I executed the below URL.
https://xyz.abc.com/index.cfm?cardholder_number=&<script>alert(1)</script>
2] In the fornt end I got a javascript alert message as injected in the URL.
But this alert message should not come as I have enabled script protection in CF admin. Right????
Now I removed "&" (https://xyz.abc.com/index.cfm?cardholder_number=<script>alert(1)</script>) from the above URL then I was not getting the javascript alert message. Does this mean that script protection will not work if we are adding "&" to the URL????.
I searched the neo-security.xml and its looks like below.

The special nature of '&' as delimiter is what prompts the browser to run the script. In fact, by default, browsers will run any Javascript that you place in the query-string. Run this, for example

But what reason will I say if they are asking me why javascript alert is coming then.
As you have just seen, the <script> tag cannot come in. The alert occurs at the browser - that is, at the client - but Coldfusion runs at the server. Communication between client and server is by means of the URL variables that the client sends to the server. For the attack to be effective, it has to be sent in the form
sneakyVar=<script>alert(1)</script>
That is not the case here.

에러 내용을 매뉴얼로 찾아보면
2 Phase Commit 완료 이전에 remote DB 가 Crash 되거나, network 장애가 발생하면 ora-02050 에러가 발생할 수 있다고 하는데
문제는 디비 링크 TO_DB_2ND 를 이용한 SELECT 문 밖에 수행이 안 된다는 겁니다.
DML 이라도 수행이 되야 뭐라도 해볼텐데, SELECT 밖에 없으니 어떤 식으로 이 장애 상황을 해결해야 할지 막막하군여.. 쩝~~
또 재미난 상황은 In-Doubt Transaction에 대해서는 RECO 프로세스가 알아서 복구시킨다고 하고 alert.log에 위에 기술한 내용을기록합니다. 그렇다면 유저 화면에 저런 에러 메시지가 안 보여야 정상일거 같은데, 가끔가다가 등록하는 화면에서 등록이 제대로 안 되면서 저런 에러가 보입니다.
환장할 노릇입니다...
이런 상황 경험해 본 고수분들의 조언을 구합니다.

우선 에러에 관련된 내용을 올리실려면 OS 와 Oracle version 을 같이 올려주셔야
합니다.그래야 에러를 분석하는데 있어 쉽게 접근할 수가 있습니다. ^^
저두 초짜라 100% 확신은 하지 못합니다..참고로 하시길 권하는 바입니다.
에러 메시지를 보니 오라클 버전은 8i 일 것 같은데 맞는지 모르겠군요...
버그(bug 2273417)라고 판단이 됩니다. 로곤 트리거가 존재할 때 트랜잭션에서
복구를 하지 못하는 그런 종류의 에러 인듯 싶습니다.
이 에러를 해결하는 방법으로는 9.0.1.4 또는 9.2.0.2 으로의 업그레이드를 추천
하는 바입니다. 또는
SQL>select trigger_name, triggering_event, status from dba_triggers
where triggering_event like 'LOG%';
위의 쿼리를 통해서 모든 로그 트리거를 Disable 시켜야 될 것 같습니다.

You can edit geometricBounds as a whole array - not as a particular [x] element. So to change object position use:
     object.geometricBounds = YourNewArray;     //      [y,x,Y,X]
but in THIS case better way is to use:
     object.resize(
            CoordinateSpaces.INNER_COORDINATES,
            AnchorPoint.TOP_LEFT_ANCHOR,

i have a code on a when-button-pressed

then i want display..

despite i didn;t gave ACKNOWLEDGE with the message statement..and i have to press OK button everytime..
and the last message (File Generated) gets displayed on the status bar directly without prompting to press OK button.
how i desire is,the messages to be displayed one after the other routines (Inserting..Updating..Transferring)
without the OK button and the last message ('File Generated') should be displayed with the OK button..
please anyone what exactly has to be done..

Are you using two consecutive MESSAGE statements for displaying messages? If so, it would show them as alerts.
If these are single MESSAGE statements, then put CLEAR_MESSAGE before the MESSAGE statement and try. You may look the help for CLEAR_MESSAGE and SYNCHRONIZE built-ins.

Doubt Regarding Message Alert...

Alert Rules - Some doubts

Hello,
I have the following doubts about alert rules:
1) Is there a way to create an alert rule that verifies the comparison between two formulas? For instance: send the alert if sum(field1) > sum(field2)?
I couldn't find a way to do that using line filter or group filter.
2) Is it possible to create an alert rule that verifies data in two data objects? For instance: send the alert if dataobject1.field > dataobject2.field?

Hi,
1) a) A Web Server understands and supports only HTTP protocol whereas an Application Server supports HTTP,TCP/IP and many more protocols.
b) Web server mainly deals with sending HTML for display in a Web browser, an application server provides access to business logic for use by client application programs. The application program can use this logic just as it would call a method on an object.
c) Webserver is used only for jsp and servlets and for static functionality it has limited functionality and it doesn't provide any security ,persistence and it doesn't support EJB and JMS and JAAS like other functionality
whereas Application server provide all functionalities.
In short, Applicaion Server is a super set of which Web Server is a sub set.
2) Two-tier architecture is a client/server architecture , where a request to do some task is sent to the server and the server responds by performing the task.where as a three-tier or a multi tier architecture has client, server and database. Where the client request is sent to the server and the server in turn sends the request to the database. The database sends back the information/data required to the server which inturn sends it to the client.

If it is just a messasge , u can do it by going to se91-message maintainance.
create a message class and a message number. then display the message whenever a po is created.
the sample code will look like:

          exporting
            type   = 'E'
            cl     = 'ZSU'

Have Lots of doubts in ORACLEBAM (Export,Alerts,ActiveData)

Hi all,
1] I want to export the Bam Reports to Pdf or some other format(like mhtml).
2] I couldn't able to send mails from Bam alerts.
3] And I want to see the reports with active datas.
For example, if i change the value in the dataobject,the report should display the updated value.
I also referred the tech notes i did all the steps mentioned in the pdf but i didn't get the expected result.

1. Read about the save offline functionality to save your reports.
2. Check out the logs - there seems to be a problem. Alerts and active data should work as expected.
