Downgrade C55-A5190 from 8.1 to 7
I am trying to downgrade a new laptop that came with Windows 8.1 to Windows 7. I can get it to boot the 7 installation, but get a message that a driver is missing. I have gone through the hardware an gotten most of the drivers from various places, most from the vendor themselves. One of the few drivers I cant find is the ACPI x64-based PC driver. If I can get the installation finished, then I can get all of the rest of the drivers with out much issue.

I'm probably going to return my c55-A5190. I contacte microcenter about it last night.
While writing a detailed account of my experience with Toshiba selling me a notbook with a defective processor and BIOS and their poor customer support, I discovered this link: http://support.toshiba.com/support/viewContentDetail?contentId=4005866
It appears that this BIOS update, although missing from the official C55-A5190 support page, may be able to correct the ACPI errors. However, I'm not sure if I should apply this update.

You cannot "downgrade". Apple does not support returning to back levels of iOS.

Hi, i was wondering if you guys would assist me with downgrading my wii from version 4.3u to 4.1u. It seems i accidently installed the latest update without any real knowledge of the problem it seemed to cause. See im trying to install the Homebrew channal, apparently you can not if you have version 4.3 and there is a way to downgrade back to 4.1 on a youtube vid and i just cant seem to figure this out... How do I downgrade my subscription from Adobe CC to Photoshop only?
I signed up for a yearly subscription around October 2013 for CC. But I've only learnt to use Photoshop and I never use the other programmes. I'm currently not working so I cannot afford the $49.99 a month subscription. I would like to downgrade my subscription/membership to Photoshop only, as $9.99 a month is within my budget. I have tried the Chat facility a few times, but I have never been successful in getting anyone online to talk to. The last time I tried, I was waiting online for over an hour and just kept getting the "thank you for your patience" message.
Please let me know if it's possible to downgrade to Photoshop only, and if so, how to go about it. Thank you!

How can I downgrade to ios4 from ios5? I have a new ipone 4 and allowed itunes to upgrade my to ios5, but it is not yet supported by my email server at work. So i must revert back to ios4. Can someone step me through it?
I dont care if I loose data, there isnt much on the phone, I just want to restore it to when it came from the store!so this is really a bummer. The camera is horrible on the ios5 and on ios4 the camera was perfect. I sure wish there was a way and WHY doesnt APPLE notice when things arent good and give us a upgrade fixing it ? They upgraded for the people having trouble with battery life which didnt bother me as much as the horrible indoor photos. Anyway, thanks for letting us know that IT DOES NOT work to restore your phone, because i was on the verge of doing it and getting the phone back with apps and emails and all that would be horrible to find out afterwards that i did it for nothing

Welcome to BlackBerry Support Community Forums
If you want to downgrade your device to OS 5 ,try it manually.You had to download an OS pack from Carrier site ,or try this :
1.Download the OS 5 you from here and Install it in your PC or Laptop Carriers or Telefonica
(make sure you are downloading for the same model as you have )
2. Download and install the latest BlackBerry desktop software from here BlackBerry desktop software
Then if it allow perform your backup of your device.
3.Search your C: drive for Vendor.xml and delete them, there may be one or two vendor.xml ( On your Pc change your folders option to show hidden files/folders ) :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
C:\Users\Windows UserName\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
4. Use BBSAK from http://bbsak.org/ and wipe the device then after you get the error 507 ( no OS ) then proceed to next step.
5. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader. (For 64-bit Vista or Windows 7, the path will be C: > Program Files x86 > Common Files > Research In Motion > AppLoader) double click Loader.exe.
Upgrade will continue then After Installation of New OS 5 restore your backup from BlackBerry desktop

I want to buy the AP model AIR-LAP1042N-A-K9. But i don't sure if in the future it could support this feature.

here is the step by step procedure to convert CAPWAP to IOS

If the laptop Ehternet interface is assigned the ip addess 10.0.0.4 with the mask of 255.255.255.0 and the AP fa interface is assigned the ip address 10.0.0.1 255.255.255.0 and if we are running TFTPd32 on the local laptop.. the nthe server ip address will be 10.0.0.4.. finally the command will be..
AP# archive download-sw /overwrite /force-reload tftp://10.0.0.4/ 1140-k9w7-tar.124-25d.JA.tar

i was in the same situation, fortunately an update has been recently published that improve comaptibility with Mail 6.6
The update is available from Antidote 8, Help menu then Updates. the release is called Antidote 8 V3.
