Download data is coming off my mobile
I have setup my kids ipod touch and the downloads they do actually come off my husbands mobile phone data allowance instead of the home wifi internet allowance. Could anyone shed any light on how to change this.
we got a big bill for our mobile so I phoned the provider and they informed me it was itunes and utube of which only the ipods access this not the iphones. No one can seem to give me the answer to change it.

Why does Mobile Data notification keep coming up saying 'Mobile Data is turned off for "Numbers" and I have to click on OK to get rid of it? I KNOW it's turned off for that program because that is what I want it to be set at. What I DON'T want is to have to click on OK EVERY TIME I open the program when I'm away from wifi.
That is how it works in general, not just for Numbers. It irritates me on other apps at times, although I can see an argument that if it didn't do that then people would complain about missing functionality after they forgot they had turned data off for an app. At any rate, this is a user to user support forum and we can't do anything about it. Update 4.1.2 wifi turns off when mobile data is on.
Since the latest update from Verizon whenever I connect to Wifi it connects then drops back to 4G right away. When I turn off the mobile data the wifi will connect again. This was never the case prior to the update.
Hi Scrappyman13. That fantastic update was intended to make your S3 experience better, not cause troubles. Is this happening when you're connecting to one specific WiFi, or is it any WiFi you've tried since the update? When it seems to drop the WiFi, do you see any error message? Let's start by removing http://vz.to/Qqsrpw and readding http://vz.to/VVj91g your WiFi connection. Also, try rebooting the battery http://vz.to/UwOaYo and SIM http://vz.to/V5RXCf to refresh your phone since the update.

I rented a movie and it's totally downloaded, but when I play it there's no sound or picture (though the progress bar is moving and time is coming off the movie like it's trying to play). Help!

Wifi turns off and mobile data turns by itself.
Like I said, Wifi turns off and mobile data turns on by it self. I have actually see it do this while I am using it. I am getting sick of having to back into setting to turn mobile data off and wifi back on. My phone started doing this a couple months ago and is doing it more and more frequently wasting all my mobile data. I have had the phone a little over a year. I'm not sure much can be solved in the forums but I also don't know how to contact Blackberry Support as they seem to just direct people here. Any help with this would be appreciated.
Oh wow...that's a really ancient OS. There was one more in the 10.2.1 branch after that, then the entire 10.2.2 branch, followed by 10.3.0, 10.3.1, and now 10.3.2...so you are perhaps 25, maybe 50 updates behind now? Not surprising that you are suffering from problems that have likely been cleared up since. I cannot recall specifically if the problem you are reporting was in that specific OS version...it's been way too long since I used it (I'm on 10.3.2.840 now, on all 3 of my devices). Regarding the space issue, refer:Article ID: KB36394 Unable to upgrade to BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3.1 or later due to insufficient spaceHowever, given your ancient OS, it is rather likely that you will have trouble with updating, especially in regards to backup/restore of your data. It has been reported that some who jump too far ahead find that their data cannot be restored to the updated device OS. So, to prepare, I advise you the following:Use LINK to conduct a full backup to your PCManually copy the entire contents of Device Memory to your PCPurchase and use Ultimate Backup to backup your data to your media cardPrepare full manual documentation of all configurations, account credentials, added apps, etc. (in case, in the worst case scenario, you cannot restore from backup and have to manually reconfigure everything)Hopefully this advice is way more conservative than you require...but better safe than sorry. I just upgraded to the Iphone 5 from Iphone 4.
In doing so I downgraded my phone plan because I am not a heavy user like I used too. I went from the 1gb a month to 200mb, because These days I am mainly at home and connect to my Wifi and even on the 1gb plan, I never used to get over 2mb of usage for the month because it all went via Wifi.
NOW, I am really worried, for some reason everyday even though the phone is home, I get 1.5mb of accumulated up and downloaded data, so far I have got 12mb of usuage data that is on my mobile account usage for this month, and I dont know why, the phone says I used it, my online account says I used it. But I have always been at home this past week on my Wifi, and I make sure that when I do stuff, my Wifi connection is up on the phone and working.
I have tuned off data roaming, I have turned off push notifications, and made all the apps I can see in the setting have to update manually, and I did this when I first got the phone.
Where is this coming from, the settings are the same as my Iphone 4 and that does not do it.
My question is two fold
1. Any idea?
2. If I turn off cellular data, that shoud stop anything that is not being downloaded via Wifi. BUT, if I go out and want to surf the internet, check emails, send and recieve SMS, etc. How does cellular data being turned off impare my iphone? anmd what cannot I not do when I am out of Wifi range?

Set do not disturb to allow calls from No One.

G'day All,
Despite careful control of my downloads I'm suddenly finding that I'm getting massive (for me) 200mb downloads now and again that are blowing my monthly download quota out of the water. My server can offer no explanation other than to say that data usage is recorded but they have no way of knowing what that data is.
I don't allow software updates to be downloaded without my authority and all my incoming material is scrutinised and where applicable deleted from my Webmail. I operate satellite broadband and only have a modem, no other ancillary equipment.
Can anyone offer any advice please on how to ascertain where my phantom downloads may be coming from? Alternatively does anyone have experience in using a data monitoring programme that they have found successful? I have been told that "Surplusmeter" might be worth checking out.
No technical stuff please guys, as a Senior Citizen the advanced stages of senile decay are setting in...

The Outback KidOK, that's great. Now, do you have the router's wi-fi turned on? My suspicion is that someone may be tapping in to your signal and piggy-backing off that. Here's how to check it.
1. Go to System Prefs >> Network. Make a note of the "Router" IP address. It's probably 192.168.1.254 or similar.
2. Open up your web browser and type that number in to the address bar.
3. This should open up the web admin page for your router. All manufacturers have there own design, but look for "Wireless", "Wi-Fi", "Home Network" or something like it. If you only use your one computer that connects by ethernet, and nothing else, then you can turn the wireless signal OFF.

Error while downloading data into excel file.
Hi,
I have a requirement to download data available in xstring to excel file.
I have a RFC which has export parameter 'file_data' of type xstring. When i call RFC
from web dynpro abap application it gives data out pout in xstring format.
I am opening excel file using that xstring data as below

If i click on 'YES' button file opening but not in proper excel format. Data is coming
in tab delimiter format in excel file.
Please suggest any solution for this problem.

Any one help on this , there is a requirement to download the data into XLSX file only.
I am able to to download the data into XLS file using the FM: GUI_DOWNLOAD in SAP ECC 6.0and also opening the file . But when i download the data into XLSX file . I am able to download the data into GUI_DOWNLOAD. But while opening the file i am getting the below mentioned error.
'Excel cannot open the file 'filename.xlsx' because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file'
Ok buttom is coming not able to open the file.
When i use the FM: SAP_CONVERT_TO_XLS_FORMAT to download the XLS it self it is going abap DUMP that file type error.
Any one help any Function Module or how to download data through abap programing into XLSX file.

I recently replaced iPhoto with Aperture. When I download pics into Aperture they are place in a file that's called "Untitled Project." When I downloaded pics from my camera to iPhoto they were put in a file that was named with the download date (YYYY MM DD). Can I do that with Aperture (as the download default)?

When I import I have an Applescript that stores the images in a year month day folder-project structure so I haven;t used the default Aperture behavior in some time. When I tested it out to reply to you I was doing it from the file system and it picked up the date from the folder. mea culpa.
Anyway the closest you can get is to have Aperture split the images by date. IN the Aperture preferences set the project split granularity
Autosplit into Projects
and then in the import window set
Automatically split projects.
This will give projects named Month Day, Year (ie: Mar 13, 2012) there is no way to change this
As I said I have a script that runs on import and sets up a structure like:
Of course many here will say not to name projects this way, that Aperture has the ability to sort by date and you're better off naming projects something more meaningful. For them that is true and it might be for you also. For me I like to store my masters this way, it works for the way I shoot.

Crystal Reports 2008 crashes with blanked out areas when downloading data
We have a pc installed with Crystal Reports 2008 v1 SP2, which is used for report creation, but after a few minutes of downloading data from the server to populate the report, the report crashes with black areas instead of data in the report. Please can anyone offer possible solutions?

I've seen this before, your Video driver is out dated and you need to update it. Typically the makers of the mother board or video card, which ever one you are using, will have updates for your specific OS. Appears you are using the default Window generic video driver which may not support what CR requires or you have an older usp10.dll. You will likely get a new one if you install Windows XP Service Pack 3.
Also, Crystal Reports version: 12.1.0.883 is SP 1 and not SP 2., second number is the Service Pack, 12.x.x.x.
Download SP 4 and see if that may help:
