Download Error on Mavericks (mac)
When I go to the Creative Cloud application on the desktop, I go to the Apps tab and I get "Download Error" and when I try to reload the application, the error persists.
I'm on a macbook running Mavericks, I've deleted the AAMUpdater (though it creates a new one every time I reload the applications) folder in ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe... As per Re: Creative Cloud "Download Error" message , I looked in the OOBE folder and there was no opm.db, just a singe folder alias called "PDApp," which contained a pim.db, along with a bunch of other folders and files.
When I enabled the root user and logged into that account after restarting, I tried the Apps tab again and it was working just fine, in the root user. But when I logged out and back into my regular account, I was still getting the download error. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Creative Cloud and that didn't work. I have Photoshop and Fireworks installed, so it WAS working at some point in time... I'm out of ideas... Help please?

My download for mavericks stops at 995.5 mb. Please provide some solution.
Hi anujsehgal,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If your OS X Mavericks download did not complete, first see if you can resume the download using the steps below:
If downloading an app is interrupted
Once an Internet connection is reestablished, your purchased downloads should automatically restart. The Mac App Store may alert you that there was an issue with the download and ask if you'd like to restart the download(s). Confirming will restart all pending downloads. For more information on this topic, see Mac App Store: How to resume interrupted downloads.
See Troubleshooting the Mac App Store for more information.
Best Regards,

Hi
I treid to download Mavericks and after 5 hours got an error message, possibly my weak internet signal, but now the App Store just records an 'an error has occurred' (very helpful!) and seemingly wont allow me to try again. What to do?is the error 1004? (Try even if it is just the generic error too..)
If so read this....
http://blog.tom.aratyn.name/post/34276220486/mac-app-store-error-1004
and if that does not work.. read this...
http://teknotes.urukhai.org/2013/04/error-1004-from-mac-app-store/
and if that doesnt work read this...

Some of the files listed in the above link may have changed locations in Mav and ML.. so use something like FindAnyFile to locate them.... if you cnanot locate them manually.

Persistent error when attempting to download OS X Mavericks
I am attempting to download OS X Mavericks from the Mac Dev Center. After I click "Get Download Code", I get the following error:
What am I doing wrong? I clicked the equivalent button for OS X Mountain Lion and it worked without any issues. I attempted this both from Safari on my OS X 10.10.2 machine and from Firefox on my Ubuntu machine. Neither of them worked. If you never downloaded Mavericks in the past, then you cannot download it now. If you had installed Mavericks before, then you can re-download it from the Purchases page in the App Store. Otherwise, you are stuck with Yosemite.

MAC Pro, error:You need 4.93 GB of available space to download OS X Mavericks. Remove items from your startup disk to increase available space.
Where do I locate the startup disc? The startup disk is your hard drive, where you store all your programs and data. Probably named Mac HD in Finder. Read this:

The dropdown menu from the Creative Cloud icon on the menu bar keeps giving me the following message: "Download Error" I quit and restarted the creative cloud app to no avail. Running Mavericks on a mid 2011 iMac.
Try below steps once
click Gear icon on the top Right corner and Quit Creative Cloud App
Click on Finder and then hold Command + Shift + G keys on your keypad
It will open Go to folder window, type exactly ~/Library and click on Go
Make sure to open ~/Library not /Library ( there will be two Library folders )
Then open Application Support > Adobe folders
Trash AAMUpdater and OOBE folders.
Then launch Creative Could and check. -

Mac OS 10.6.8 update download error
I have a brand new MacBook Pro and was looking forward to installing Lion but I have to update from 10.6.7 to 10.6.8 first. I went to Software Update and the download progress bar went all the way to the end at which point I got a "Mac OS 10.6.8 download error." It said there were problems connecting to the download server. The other 5 updates that the Software Updater app found that I could use downloaded and updated just fine. I tried restarting and re-updating but get the same error. What's going on? How do I fix this? Thanks.
My other updates did not update either. I do the download - OR TRY TO DO THE DOWNLOAD - after several minutes of what seems to be downloading... then it asks - "Would you like to install these downloads?" I click Yes. It begins to do something - and after a few minutes it says - "Error - problems ocurred while connecting to the download server." By not doing these updates I know this is what is slowing my down computer and sometimes making it down right stagnant like a PC. I sometimes have to click on the same thing four or five times to get it to do the function. I have been getting this message all week. I have 8 updates that need to be completed and I am using 10.6.8 Mac OS.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!! I am frustrated! My husbands PC laptop is in the shop - for the 5 or 6th time. I had almost convinced him to go Mac... I need this work RIGHT! -
My 13 inch Macbook pro w retina will not install/download OS X Mavericks because it says I do not have the requirements in order to install it. I purchased my Mac this past month on 11/20/13 so i do not have a problem with it being an older version. Please help. This is my first computer so i dont have any experience on how to fix this.
You can't install the App Store version of Mavericks because your model needs a special version. If you ever need to reinstall it, boot into Recovery.
