Download Manager-Showing Download in Progress, but nothing being downloaded

I am trying to download 7.10 GUI. The DM is able to connect to the Marketplace and gives the message that download in progress.But at the bottom giving another message "The request failed 401/An error occured while reading the object from the marketplace.
Can anyone please help in resolving the issue?

Sometimes the updater gets in a funny state - Go to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ and download the full installer. Close Firefox and run the installer

Photos icon showing 1 new photo but nothing there!

The new 'Photos' icon shows a new photo but nothing new is there. Is this just a glitch with the 2015 app or should the desktop icon be showing a '1' with the Photos icon?

I am having the same problem mentioned here. I see there is no response to your posting. Have you figured out what is going on yet?
I looked through all my account settings and my email rules. I found a rule that may have been the cause of some of the problem but not all of it. This morning "Mail" indicated it was downloading 17 messages from my POP account but only 4 were in my inbox. The missing 13 are gone for good (into the bit bucket I guess). I know that I am not getting mail from a specific correspondent whose email address is in my address book. I'm at a loss.

yes, you can locate and copy a file from your HD to a USB key using UNIX commands. If you know the exact name of the file which you’re trying to locate, try this:
find / -iname filename -print
This command will search your entire internal disk for the particular filename. If you know that it’s within a particular user account, then you can save search time with this variation:
find /Users/username -iname filename -print
Either variation of this command will print all files found which have the given filename. Presuming that you’re able to identify the correct file, you can copy it to a USB key using the command
cp -p filename_returned_by_find /Volumes/USB_volume
If you’re not sure which volume name your USB key has, this command will show you what the possibilities are:
ls /Volumes

It sounds like you are unable to print to your printer from Mac OS X Lion. I recommend the troublehsooting from the article named:

Follow these steps until the issue is addressed:
Make sure that the printer is powered on, has ink / toner, and that there are no alerts on the printer’s control panel. Note: If you cannot clear an alert on the printer's control panel, stop here and check the printer's documentation or contact the manufacturer for support.
Ensure the printer is properly connected to a USB port on the Mac or AirPort base station / Time Capsule. If the printer is a network-capable printer, make sure that it is properly connected to your home network.
Use Software Update to find and install the latest available updates. If an update is installed, see if the issue persists.
Open the Print & Scan pane or Print & Fax (Snow Leopard) pane in System Preferences.
Delete the affected printer, then add the printer again.
If the issue persists, try these additional steps:
Reset the printing system, then add the printer again.

One thing you might try is to download the (free) Epson iPrint app from the App Store. See if that app sees your printer, and, if so, try the "Maintenance" button in the lower left, including its "firmware update" (which is under "Printer Settings"). Make sure the iPrint shows the ink levels.

I have recently go a new pc, downloaded itunes so i could start syncing my phone and copting some music over, on my old pc it used to do this with out a hitch, now it says sync in progress and nothing copies over, not even if i add new photos, no music no photos, its very annoying, CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE

Client shows connected but nothing being uploaded

Myt win7 client is showing as connected to the mirage server but nothing is being uploaded to the mirage server.
c:\miragestorage is only about 630k

What your are planing is not possible.
Mirage is a backup and recovery tool for clients (fat or virtual). Also you can manage there windows image and/or there applications.
You can not* export/import View desktops to use it offline. The View Layer management policy is only to manage the Windows image from the View desktops.
I recommend that you watch the youtube videos from VMware that explain the use of Mirage to understand the technical details.
*technical it is possible but a never ending story.

ITunes shows syncing in progress, but when finished my ipod shows nothing.

This is starting to get me very upset and Im not too happy. I just restored my Ipod and updated to the newest version of iTunes. When I connect my ipod to iTunes, everything shows up fine, it shows on the iTunes that all my songs are being written to my ipod and my ipod is showing the "Sync in progress" message. However, when Ive sat through 4 hours and everything is finished and iTunes says its done, MY IPOD IS STILL BLANK! Its just displays "No Content Added." How does this make sense? Ive sat through this twice and everything appears fine until it tells me its ok to disconnect and Im looking at a screen that seems like I havent added anything onto it. And on top of that, it keeps coming up with an error saying there is something wrong with the iTunes store, so I cant access it. Can someone PLEASE help me here!?!?!?!

I have a new IPAD4 which has synced pictures i selected but not music or films i selected from itunes library? I have had an account for years and never had issues syncing with iphone or ipod? when i attempt ipad the data shows and it cycles but nothing?

show the data shows whe i selet for sync (i have ticked sync only ticked icon) and selected two playlists - the data usage shows an extra 3.2 gb off my 32g ipad and the movies show up purple on the data usage bar, i press apply / sync it takes 20mins to go through 5 stages - never once do i see a song title or number in the update display. then when it finishes the data usage bar goes back to the lower amount before i tried to add the music and movies to my ipad?? The only thing that i have managed to move if pictures??

When i set up the ipad out the box the other day it asked whether i wanted a NEW INSTALL or RESTORE FROM ICLOUD BACKUP (presumbly off iphone), I choose restore, it then downloaded all the apps and web history/bookmarks etc, although it took about 8 hours to do it which i thought was odd?!

Profile manager shows only one profile but I have two profiles located in the same place and I want to change

I have had a Firefox crash and uninstalled then reinstalled three times. For some reason Mozbackup won't back up my files. In checking profiles, I have two profiles with different names and both marked default, located in the same place. I would like to use the old profile but the profile manager only shows one profile.
How can I get to use the old profile?
