im having the same problem. im trying to download photoshop cs5 trial version. the download assistant ask me to login in so I log in again and then downloader does nothing. I downloaded Fireworks CS5 two months ago on this laptop so I cant understand what is the issue. Im stuck. Ive tried switching browser's. I dont know but this is a pain. I guess I gotta keep fishing. Cannot install Photoshop CS5 Trial

Hello all.
I'm desperately searching help to install Photoshop CS5 Trial on my PC. I have Windows Seven Ultimate 32 bit, and any time I try to install the regular setup file downloaded via Adobe's site I get an error message. Another strange issue regarding a message displayed in a dialog box during setup: after the "INSTALL TRIAL" selection there is a dialog box displaying the components to install. There is only the Photoshop voice, with a red X, and after the selection a new message appears in the right side of the dialog, warning me that "THE SELECTED COMPONENTS ARE DISABLED".
After the start of installation I got the following message:

Problem Solved!
I simply checked in the "Add/Remove Programs" panel, discovering a previous CS5 installation (some days ago I've installed CS5 suite trial). Yesterday I have discovered this voice in the panel, uninstalled it and now Photoshop CS5 is perfectly installed and working.
Solutions are ofted in front of our eyes, but we do not realize it

I have installed the Photoshop CS5 Trial, and when I tried to initiate the program, I got a error message 0xc000001d.
Do you have any idea, if this failure occurs due my operating system use a athlon XP processor 2.4GHz?
Are there any solution for that?

Well, if you're installing strictly for use as a trial, download the latest from Adobe's web site.
If you're installing to activate with your license, install then either run the updater (from the Start menu) or manually update to Photoshop 12.0.4 from this page, and it will work on your CPU:

Cannot find a link to download Photoshop CS5

I bought the disk version for £400+ but it's for Mac, I no longer have Mac and therefore want to install it on my PC. What I thought would be a simple download is turning into a nightmare. I cannot even find just a trial version. I don't want to download CS6, because I don't have the money to waste to purchase the whole set again. Could you please direct me to link where I can download Photoshop CS5.
Or will the serial code work for CS6?

I dowloaded the Photoshop CS5 trial yesterday 2 days ago. Everything worked perfectly yesterday. Unfortunately, today...the brush and pencil tool doesn't work. Anyone have any idea why?

I am looking to purchase and download photoshop cs5 education version direct from adobe australia. However i would like to know if once i have downloaded whether i am able to install it on both my computers imac and macbook pro? Or am i limited to the activation code only working once?

THis is a User to User forum. For direct answers from Adobe, call Adobe Customer service.
However, the US EULA allows for 2 installs of the software. I do not know if the Australian EULA is differnt.

Can't open photoshop cs5 trial on mac os x after installation

i downloaded ps cs5 trial from adobe.com and installed it but when i try to open the application a message comes up sayin cannot open because minimum system requirement is mac os x but i've got this mac version? any opinions, explanations would be grateful. thanks

How do I re-download Photoshop CS5?

Right, here is the problem - installation media is corrupted and I need to re-install Photoshop CS5 on my Mac.
I have the valid serial number (as registered) but cannot find out where I can download Photoshop CS5 (unless I hit the torrent sites! - which I don't want to do). Where do I go to download the CS5 software legitmately?
I have had a look and it is not showing up in my "order history"

Tessa, if you orignially got CS5 from the Adobe online store, you can log on again, and the link will be there in your Orders page. I don't know how it works if you started with the DVD, but John sounds like he has sorted you out.
Just checked, and that's a handy page John. It is now bookmarked on my system, and I'll wager by most other people who view this thread.
I'll add a me-too for backing up. I lost a raid0 array a month or so ago, and it had hundreds of hours of video editing on it. (time invested - not edited video) I had a nearly up to date copy on another drive, but I also run Shadow Protect which can be set to record changes to the backed up drives every 15 minutes as a background process. You can also make a virtual copy of your boot drive, and a bood CD that will have you up and running five minutes after a complete boot drive failure. One of the best $100 I ever spent. You don't even know it is there until you need it.
