  • Is there any way I can download Adobe Photoshop CS6 trial version with my processor?

Hi, I do need to work on something with photoshop. I downloaded Adobe Photoshop CS6 trial version, the installation was fine, but
when I clicked on photoshop icon, a massage comes up, saying "You can't open the application Adobe Photoshop CS6, becase it is not supported on
    this type of Mac"
I found information from here: http://www.adobe.com/au/products/photoshop/tech-specs.edu.html
Photoshop CS6 requires multicore intel processor with 64-bit support,
I guess mine isn't enough for this? I am using
    Mac OS X 10.6.8
processor 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo
    Memory 2 GB 667 MHZ DDR2 SDRAM
I tried to download another versions but, 10.6.8 only goes with CS6.
So is there any way I can get photoshop in this situation?? I really need to do something by using it!!!!

Not the most helpful error message from the installer?  No details on why the system was rejected?  That's something I'd consider to be some amateur-level programming in the installer.
You don't have a 64-bit processor.  Intel Core series is 32-bit.  Intel Core 2 series (and later) is 64-bit.
Depending on what you're looking to do, try Acorn from Flying Meat?

I am running intel core 2 duo on i Mac. The download  photoshop cloud trial version, tells me that my system is no longer supported. Really?

Maybe it is your OSX, what version are you running?
    Mac OS
Multicore Intel processor with 64-bit support
    Mac OS X v10.7, v10.8, or v10.9
2 GB of RAM (8 GB recommended)
3.2 GB of available hard-disk space for installation; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on a volume that uses a case-sensitive file system or on removable flash storage devices)
1024x768 display (1280x800 recommended) with 16-bit color and 512 MB of VRAM (1 GB recommended)**  Even 256 MB works for OpenGL but not 3D
    OpenGL 2.0–capable system

  • Downloaded Photoshop CS6 trial, signed up for Adobe ID, now its just stuck.

Downloaded Photoshop CS6 trial, signed up for Adobe ID, now its just stuck.... the bar is not moving and under the bar it says .. " sign in with Adobe ID to continue" (although I'm signed in as my name appears at the top right corner!
    How can I download/Install it??

Can you cancel the download?  If so please try canceling the download and initiating the download again.  When choosing a destination to download the install files too please choose the default of your user folder.
Alternately you can follow the steps listed in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.

  • Having trouble downloading photoshop CS6 trial

I have a Macbook Pro and I am trying to download the Photoshop CS6 trial and the Flash CS6 trial to my computer, since the CC versions are not compatible with my system. So I went to this link, which I saw mentioned a few times in the Adobe forums:
    http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html
I follow all the instructions but when I go to download the file, the download bar on the file doesn't move. It's like it's stuck at 1% and won't download any further. Am I doing something wrong? I have the system requirements for CS6, so I'm not sure why it's doing this.

Hi Jamie, you're on the right track but if you're having any problems accessing the CS6 direct links then try downloading using a different web browser, computer, or Internet connection...  Avoid wireless or Wi-Fi as it can be slower and less reliable than a wired connection.

  • How can I download InCopy CS6 trial version in the Adobe Download Assistant?

There's no selection of the application for InCopy CS6 trial version in the Adobe Download Assistant.

That is correct.  Once the Adobe Download Assistant is installed you will need to initiate the download from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=incopy&loc=en_us.  If this is not working for you then please utilize a different web browser.

  • Can't install extensions in DW CS3 since downloading Photoshop CS6 trial

I'm using Dreamweaver CS3 on Windows XP. About a week ago I downloaded the Photoshop CS6 30-day free trial. Since then, when I try to install an extension in Dreamweaver, the Adobe Extension Manager CS6 opens, with the message "This extension can not be installed, it requires Dreamweaver version 6 or greater." I looked at Add & Remove Programs on my computer to see if the Extension Manager CS6 could be uninstalled, but it's not on the list of programs so I guess the only way to remove it would be to uninstall the Photoshop trial, which I don't want to do. Is there any way around this problem? The extension I wanted to install is an update of a PVII product that I already have installed.

Thanks Murray! I selected Commands>Manage Extensions, the old Extension Manager opened and I clicked File>Install Extension and the extension installed with no problem. The first time I had tried to install it by double-clicking directly on the file and that's when the CS6 Extension Manager opened and said the extension culdn't be installed. Thanks again!

  • Photoshop CS6 trial version is fully functional?

What is the difference trial version and the full version of Photoshop CS6?

    Hi sod2888,
There's no difference between the trial version and the full version except for the number of days of usage.
Trial version is a fully functional software containing all the features and is good for 30 days usage only.

  • Download photoshop cs6 trial

I have downloaded an adobe photoshop cs6 tial, but it does not run. How can I run it?

    Hi billybuck7,
After downloading Photoshop you need to install it. Run the downloaded .exe (Windows) or the .dmg (Mac) file and installation should begin.
If you have already installed the program, then please navigate to the 'Start > All Programs' if you are on Windows or the 'Applications' folder on MAC to find the application and launch it.

  • I installed the photoshop CS6 trial version and got an error.

I installed everything without a problem and verified my adobe acount but when it tells me to sign in an error pops up that says: "Please connect to the internet and retry."
But...I'm connected to the internet and there's nothing wrong with the internet that would cause a problem for signing into something. I even tried restarting my laptop and signing in again but got the same error.
    What should I do?

Thanks for writing, Jeff; I appreciate your question.  To clarify:
    1. Nope, I'm not on a managed network.  This is my personal computer onto which I'm installing software.
    2. This thread is about CS6.  I have just bought the CS6 Production Premium suite, and have (per support chat instructions) attempted to install both the full and the trial versions.  I've followed all the instructions on the website listed in post #1 here, and have followed all the suggestions of those on chat support.
    3. I have a sufficiently-powered computer (i-7 Intel processor on Windows 8 with 8 megs RAM), and have attempted the installation on both wired and wireless connections, with and without firewalls and antivirus software enabled.  I can do everything I want with my computer and internet connection except get past this sign-in screen.
Google "please connect to the internet and retry" "adobe" and you'll get thousands of hits, a whole lot of them having to do with CS6.  Has Adobe recognized this as a bug anywhere?
    Thanks again for writing.
    James

I'm guessing, assuming you have continued interest in Photoshop, what you can do now might involve purchasing a license or running the trial on another machine.
