Yes. Microsoft advises that version 8 of PSE will work with Windows 8. The best option is a new computer with W8 and then do a clean install of Elements. Some difficulties may arise if upgrading the operating system on top of existing software. In those circumstances make sure you have your original disks or your download package, in case a re-install is necessary.

How do I download Photoshop Elements with the Adobe Download Assistant?
It used to be pretty straight forward, you would launch ADA and it would show all the programs available for download.
Now it just shows "Products you may like", which doesn't show Elements (at least not that I can find).
So how do I get Photoshop Elements? Problem downloading Photoshop Elements with IE10 [was: photo shop elements]
I am trying to install Photo Shop Elements on my computer which has Windows 7 and IE9 and it keeps telling me I need IE4 or higher to install it and quits the installation. Can anyone help me with this?
It's a well known issue with the Adobe website and IE10.
The website script has a bug which seems to think IE10 is IE1 (which is hopelessly out of date). So the download quits. Has been repeatedly reported to Adobe but not fixed - or even acknowledged by Adobe - yet.
Workarounds:
Use Compatibility View in IE10 (change to IE9) to fool Adobe's website to think you're using IE9
Use a different browser. -
Where can I download Photoshop Elements 10?
I have bought the program a few months ago but not tried to install it until now. I have a new IMac without dvd-drive. How can I download Photoshop Elements 10. I Can only find 11 and my productkey does not work with that one.

Years ago started with Photoshop 2.0 advanced to Photoshop Deluxe 4.0 so far so good.
Purchased Photoshop Elements 8 some time ago, but never got help because Elements never downloaded
and can only use it just to open pictures that's all.

Having difficulty downloading Photoshop Elements 12 on my laptop. I am running Windows 8
1. delete your adobe.com cookies and retry, or
2. use a different browser, or

and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com). -

After Adobe Download Assistant is installed, you can start it at any time and select a product to download at the bottom of the window. The list updates as new products become available to download with the Adobe Download Assistant.

I operate a windows 8, 62 bit computer. I have ordered and downloaded the following product for AU$129 Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 (Windows,English) on the understanding that it would convert PD files to word. It is not doing so. Is this a wrong order?

As long as your license supports both platforms you should only have to download the Mac version and install/activate using your serial number. If you need help finding a link to download the file, please indicate the PSE version you need.

Is your iPad jailbroke? If it is, all bets are off. If it is not jailbroke, keep reading.
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.
