Dr.Brown Services 2.3.1 not working in CC 2014.1 ??

Dr.Brown Services 2.3.1 is installed and viewable in Bridge.
When I click (with images selected) on Tools/Dr.Brown's Services 2.3.1/Image Processor Pro, then Photoshop CC2014.1 starts up but nothing is happening after that.
Tried many things and updated everything to the latests versions through Creative Cloud Sync in Menubar, removed CS6 and CC from my MacPro, but in vain... !
Have been a very useful now for many years and I NEED this tool in my workflow.

Please help me with this !
To Russel Brown: is this going to be solved, quickly, with or without html or Flash (I don't care as long as it works!) but I need this urgently to serve my clients !

Please see the following articles, run and debug service with breakpoints using F5 from VS, then register the custom content enrichment service with DebugMode and long Timeout to SharePoint, then start a full crawl to call the web service.

Are you talking about a custom workspace, or actual panels made with Configurator? If the former, then go Preferences > Sync settings. If the latter, then those Flash panels no longer work in CC 2014. Check out any of the multiple threads about Extensions being greyed out.

I don't know since I don't share anything. You'll have to peruse the help files and check the permissions and ACLs on the Shared folder. According to the permissions on the Shared folder everyone can R&W. If you want those to be inherited by everything dropped into the folder, add an ACL for
everyone allow read, write

Web Service Client(Console App) not working on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition

I am trying to consume an ASMX Web Service in a console app, its working fine in Windows 7,Windows Server 2012 Standard,Windows Server 2008 R2 DataCenter,Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, But its not working in Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition which
is the deployment server.
I tried consuming the ASMX web service using Web Reference and Service Reference as well but its not helping. Its throwing up the following error,
Message:There is an error in XML document (1, 331491).
Inner Exception : System.Xml.XmlException: '.', hexadecimal value 0x00, is an invalid character. Line 1, position 331491.
The scenario is that i call the web service and it returns me an XML i am not able to receive the XML on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition.
Please provide suggestions on this I need to resolve this ASAP.

America's top number one wireless service...does not work in Puerto Rico

Please come back to Puerto Rico. I have been a member for over ten years. I live in Ohio and will have to relocate to Puerto Rico. My daughter is enrolled in college to become a school teacher in Puerto Rico. My family plan is not working well in Puerto Rico. I am paying for a family plan, (here in Ohio) and my daughter has two phones in Puerto Rico. They are not working. I had called Verizon Support, and was told that the phones must be mailed back to (Ohio) me here in the states to be reactivated. Verizon phones cannot be activated in Puerto Rico. I prefer only Verizon, which is why I have not switched to any other provider. But, because Verizon does not have towers or businesses in Puerto Rico, even though we have 4G phones, we now have no service in Puerto Rico. I am stuck with the choices of AT&T, T-Mobile, or Straight Talk from Wal-Mart, or the WORSE are the wireless and Internet services of Puerto Rico, Claro.. Claro has outages for DAYS and still expect full payment, regardless of how many days lost for service. Claro does not credit your account even if you had an outage for a week; you are still billed for the full month. It is difficult to avoid this company in Puerto Rico. This is a message to CEO of Verizon...please bring your business back to Puerto Rico. When people asked my daughter what service she uses, they were excited when she said that she uses Verizon. But were disappointed when she said that her account is back in (Ohio) the states, there are no stores here. I have to send (AGAIN) two new phones activated here in the states back to Puerto Rico, so that my daughter can still use our Verizon Family Plan. There is nothing Verizon Support can do. Once I move to Puerto Rico, there will be no one to send our phones to in (Ohio) the states to reactivate for our Verizon Family Plan. Our home line has had no dial tone for two days now. When a repair was requested, we received a commitment of 8/8. That timing was not sufficient. I updated the repair request on line indicating that we needed the repair by today. I called this morning and a recording told me that Verizon was committed to repair the phone by 8pm tonight. Well, 9:30pm and no Verizon. I tried calling with my cell phone and sat on the phone for over 30 minutes. Either no one was home or it was past business hours. In any event, here we sit with no home phone service. We are elderly. My husband has a heart condition. I am grateful for our cell phones, not Verizon. What if we had a real emergency and didn't have cell phones? This is not customer service. We never even received a phone call or an email as we requested on the repair status. So sit another day or maybe more. Frustrated in NJ. P.S. Our experience with My Verizon is it sends you round and round and round with no real solution to your problem. Any suggestions? Thanks.

We are using SSO. and domain controller has service user. We are in 7.31 PI as Java so user mapping is not done but have same users in Active directory.
SSO is working fine. But, once specific service is not working where we are using technical user when SSO is active and it is working when SSO is inactive.

Russell Brown " Image Processor Pro " does not work under CC

I just switched from Photoshop CS 6 to CC and use Russell Brown "Image Processor Pro". Unfortunately does not work that under CC. I also want to install the fix but we probably only applied to CS6.
Does anyone have a solution to the problem.

I installed Image Processor Pro quite some time ago. I extracted the extension package and just copied the two files "Image Processor Pro.xml" and "Image Processor Pro.jsx" into Photoshop's versions Presets\Scripts. Enabling the wiki service for a group not working

I am getting my server up and running and I have the following services: AFP, DNS, and Web. I am currently trying to enable the use of a Wiki but am running into some problems. I have enabled Wiki and blog in the Web Services in Server Admin and I have added the groups I wish to be able to use the Wiki. When I go to Workgroup Manager, I get stuck. In the Accounts tab and the group I am trying to give access to, I attempt to use the pulldown tab to "Enable the following serves for this group on:" I would like to get the pulldown to be set on "Default web site of server17.pretendco.com, but I cannot even use the pulldown. It is grayed over, and I cannot change the settings.
I am using the Administrator account, so I should be able to change that. Any ideas?

The reason the option is grayed out for your users is because your server is not an OD Master. Wiki, Blog and iCal won't be available unless this happens first.

Open Directory requires a tested and configured Internal DNS Service resolving on the forward and reverse lookups. DNS does not need to be running on the server itself just as long as it is running on a server on the same network. Don't confuse internal DNS Services with the external ones you are used to.

Caller display not worked since June 2014

On 26/06/14 I reported a fault (VOL-**********) that the caller display function had stopped working following a thunderstorm in the area. According to the fault status this fault is showing as being corrected and closed on 02/07/14 when in fact the fault still exists. I tested the line using the BT test socket with a new BT2000 phone and this displayed ‘incoming call’ therefore my internal wiring is not part of the problem. I have also dialled the test code *#234# to check if the caller display service is available and confirmed that it is. I then tested the new BT2000 phone on the neighbour’s telephone line and this showed the caller ID for incoming calls, as did my other telephone as well; therefore none of the telephone handsets are at fault. Three times BT have informed me that the fault has been fixed and yet I still have no caller display. Reading through the forums it would appear that other people have encountered similar issues and that the problem is at the exchange, “An Openreach engineer discovered that the RS232 burst transferring the CLI number up the line was too weak and he then went down to the exchange to investigate. He then discovered that the fault lay in the ADSL device which lies between the analogue exchange equipment and the outgoing line”.
I’m surprised to see that BT are taking so long to trace a fault in their system last raised 5/8/2014 (VOL012-**********) and that they haven’t sent an engineer to the property or to the exchange to check the problem.
My patience is wearing thin over this problem with my Caller Display not working as it started in mid June. I’m also becoming less enthusiastic about BT and find it harder to recommend them to others.
My last message from BT, tells me that it should be back to normal on the 8 August. However, it is still not working. Their message that my phone should be back to normal now and if it isn’t report this to BT, is ridiculous. If an engineer had investigated what was causing the fault and found it, then he would have fixed it. However, either an engineer has not investigated the fault or BT is not competent in fixing their own service faults and makes these statements with crossed fingers?

An engineer called yesterday and told me that he had been asked to test the line for a voice fault not a Caller Display fault. However, his testing revealed there is no line fault, CLI signal is strong and he was happy that the new BT2000 phone (bought after the lightning strike) is working properly. (This phone had also been tested on a neighbour’s phone line where it displayed the callers number). He also found that this same BT2000 phone on my line was not displaying the Caller’s number (CLI), but couldn’t offer any reason why.
I conjectured with him that these tests must bring the problem down to a corrupted CLI signal which does not allow the phone to understand the phone number being sent.
When the lightning struck the phone line back in June, it blew the telephone connection in the back of the Sky Box with a flash and bang (telephone cable now removed from the Sky box). It shorted the Openreach Faceplate (now replaced) so that the phones and broadband stopped working and it caused the phone to light up and react as it does when a call comes through.
Now isn’t it possible that the lightning also travelled along the copper wire to the green cabinet just outside the house and damaged something there which is corrupting the CLI signal, but which does not not show up when the voice line is tested? If not, then there must be a problem further back in the infrastructure, possibly in the Exchange, that is causing a corrupted signal to be sent to my phone?
He told me that another team would have to investigate the Caller Display fault as he was instructed to look into a voice issue and as a field engineer he was not able to investigate any problem that might be in the Exchange. I don’t know whether this Exchange Team would be able to investigate a problem in the Cabinet if nothing is found in the Exchange or can that only be done by a field engineer? He told me to contact BT again as he’d done all that he had been instructed to do and they would have to instigate a fault team to further investigate the problem.
When all this is considered we have the basic problem that BT are unable to provide me with a Privacy and Caller Display Service that I have been paying for, because of a fault in their infrastructure. How much longer is it going to take before they correct the problem that’s been going on since June 2014?

IPv6 does not work (MacMini late 2014)

recently I bought an new MacMini late 2014 to use this machine as an OpenDirectory server to service request from our file servers and other boxes. Therefore this computer is configured with static ip addresses (v4, v6) within a separate server vlan. Nothing special, other machines (FreeBSD, OSX 10.9) within this segment are working well. The native en0 interface has the two server-lan addresses (v4, v6), an additional vlan interface of en0 is differently configured (v4; v6 only link local. All other initially active network interfaces are deactivated (thunderbold-bridge, bluetooth, WiFi etc.), because they are of no use.
Because of the machine's job as a server, I deactivated all temporary ipv6 address games (sysctl).
This standard configuration simply does not work as intended:
IPv4: communications to servers in the same lan segment are possible, the firewall is reachable, outside connections can be established.
IPv6: HORROR!
Different reactions between "no route to host" (hey, read your kernel tables and use the routes!) and timeouts (it read the kernel routing table, but failed with nd). The ping (ping6) targets are in this first step of testing machines within the same lan segment. Ping-ing of non-local, existing link local addresses is not possible. The MacMini sees itself but nothing more.
All firewalls (via GUI) are turned off, the computer is rebooted again and again. I checked sysctl for mess with packet filters and found an entry for an activation of an ipv6 fw (firewall?!), which I deactivated -- without success.
Software: 10.10 (delivery) plus update to 10.10.1; Apps: OSX Server.
Has anyone ideas what to check further (beside of using a network sniffer)?

I have a mid-2010 Macmini running 10.10.3 with similar IPv6 symptoms. Not picking up a global address from RA, can't ping6 other link-local addresses, IPv4 working fine. Driving me crazy!

Polygonal lasso not working in PS 2014 with OS X 10.10

The polygonal lasso is not working when using Photoshop CC 2014 with the new Mac OS X 10.10 Beta. Anyone else notice this problem? It still works fine in regular Photoshop CC.

You are right about taking my chances with the beta. So far it's working pretty well. They've made a lot of cool visual improvements. A lot of other people who are not using the 10.10 beta seem to be having trouble with the polygonal lasso as well so I wonder if it might be an Adobe problem. I have sent in a report to Apple about the issue.

Wrap not working in Muse 2014

Wrap function not working at all. I have a text box, with text, and a picture picture, with picture. The picture is arranged to the front and all the items are on the same layer, but when I go to the Wrap box everything is greyed out. I've tried multiple boxes and even created a new site to test whether this is an issue with older sites in the 2014 update. Nothing works, there is no combination of boxes that allow me set a Wrap.
Any ideas?

Text wrap capabilities are limited on the Web. Wrap is only available for items pasted within the text flow that will be wrapping around the graphic. While I understand the positive intent of their posts, it is immensely frustrating to be told the same thing over and over without anyone acknowledging the fact that I have clearly stated that I have followed those steps and I STILL get the results I pictured above.
So I will say it for the fifth time, thank for the instructions on the textbook method on how it is suppose to work. Textbook "suppose to" doesn't seem to be the issue. As with other bugs in Muse 2014 (Source San Pro preference problem), I am hoping someone has a workaround beyond the way it is "suppose to work" I need someone who has some trouble shooting suggestions. I've cleared prefs. and reinstalled Muse to no avail. I created a new site to test if it was an issue with files created by older versions of Muse, but brand new site does the same thing.
