Drag-resize doesn't resize dual brushes properly. CS4

It has come to my attention that the new drag-resize feature only changes the master diameter of the brush but leaves the dual-brush diameter intact. It is the only shortcut that does this resizing improperly.
I would like to know if everyone else experiences the same problem. Is it a bug or is this way of resizing intended?
I mainly do digital paintings and this small bug makes the feature useless for me. I hope that it will be fixed at least in cs5 :P

If you click on it, the dual brush diameter is the first option that can be changed and it is in pixels not %. If you resize your brush size with bracket keys or right click and drag the slider, photoshop adjusts this setting automatically, but the new drag resize leaves this setting intact.

Aterm doesn't resize contents properly

I've been on holiday for a while so recently did a large update (300+ packages). After doing it aterm has stopped resizing its contents correctly.
It is hard to explain but if I stretch an aterm window larger the content (usually just a shell) doesn't always resize to fill the new window. Sometimes there is at least 5-6 blank lines at the bottom of the window that the content doesn't go in to. If I play with the size I can get the content into it but it seems to snap to a certain size before the content will fit.
I'm running aterm version 1.00.01 on fluxbox and the shell is either bash or bash in screen.
Has anyone else seen this kind of problem?

Simple_list() doesn't resize

I started converting a plugin to use simple_list(), and unfortunately it doesn't resize properly like the other controls:

Hi, I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to get the list to
scroll by pixels instead of row height. This is because one row may
be larger than the screen and thus you won't be able to view all

Help needed in Drag and Drop and resizing of image icons

Hi all,
I'm doing a project on Drag and Drop and resizing of image icons.
There is one DragContainer in which i have loaded the image icons and i want to drop these image icons on to the DropContainer.
After Dropping these icons on to the DropContainer i need to resize them.
I have used the Rectangle object in resizing.
The problem now i'm facing is when i drag, drop and resize an image icon and when i try to drag, drop a second image icon the first image icon gets erased.
can any one help me in fixing this error.

Assuming the screenshots are of the same page, the one that's taller is either taller because the minimum page height has been changed or due to some page content (that's not marked as a Footer Item) being located in the new space. This may be an empty text frame or the transparent area of a widget, text frame or other object.

Finder, Icon Slider bottom doesn't resize

hi, i have a small bug with my icon slider of Finder. it doesn't resize with the small slider at right bottom of a Finder window.
as you can see: the icons in the Finder window are very small (set by the slider right), but the slider left is set to the biggest icon size.
but
if i go to a higher Finder level, change there the size of the icons (possible), return to the old Finder window (picture above), then:
the functionaltiy is actually, that the sliderposition left and right is synchronous.
that well running disappearing after couple of clicks or minutes.

I have the same issue. If I switch from a non-icon view to the icon view, the slider doesn't work. However, if I select icon view for a folder, then close the folder and re-open again, the slider works. I think the invisible database file for the folder display isn't getting updated correctly / at the right time.
Permission repair doesn't help, so I suspect a minor Finder bug. Hopefully 10.7.2 will fix.

Drag on top for resizing window gesture don't work

Hello,
I got a problem with the drag on top gestoure to resize windows after deleting of my old account:
Before I had only one account on my iMac, i downloaded and updated Lion with Mountain Lion; no problem.
Then I created another account, transferred all my documents in to it and deleted the old account. There began the problem: in the new account the drag on top to resize on max dimension gesture stop working. I restored Mac two times thinking about a software error, but anything has chanded. I didn't found anything on the internet. Did you know ho to solve my problem?

I mean file & folder Permissions.
In the Finder highlight say your user's Library folder, do a Get Info on it, does it say the new you has Read & Write Permissions?
To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?

Photoshop CS5 Dual brushes

It seems that Photoshop CS5 doesn't display the dual brush that is selected when you select a brush from the libraries. It indicates there should be a dual brush by a tick but no brush tip is selected.
Am I missing something or is this just a bug that needs sorting out still?

What kind of video card do you have? It's always a good idea to check the web site of the maker of your video card to see if they have released updated drivers.
I run Photoshop CS5 across two 1600 x 1200 monitors, by the way, without problems.

Dual Brush Setting

Hello
I'm going through some old custom brushes, and a lot of them have the 'dual brush' selection checked on in the 'brush' panel.
From what I understand, you have:
Your current brush peset
and then the 'dual brush' is ticked on, so basically there are 2 brushes overlapping eachother.
What I'm trying to do is turn off the 'current' brush, leaving only the 'dual brush' selected. I hope this makes sense.
At the very least, I'd like to try to find a way to identify what the dual brush's name is, and perhaps identify what .abr set it belongs to. I know that if you hover the cursor ontop of the dul brush thumbnail on the right hand side of the brush panel, that a tooltip will pop up, giving you its name. But this doesn't allow you to select that brush, and it doesn't tell you what .abr file it's from. I really need to find a way to actually select it. Without knowingwhat .abr file it's from, there seems to be no way to access that particular dual brush.
Anyone know if there's a way to find this out?

In CC 2014 if I highlight just Dual Brush (of a brush using two brush tips) in the list of brush features in the Brushes Panel, I can see the second brush, with a fine blue square round it, in the brush tip map. If you then highlight the Brush Tip Shape title, with Dual Brush not selected, you can see the main brush in the brush tip map with a blue square round it..

Dual brush question

Here's is my problem (CS6). I have created a number of dual brush presets. When I paint in Photoshop, the dual brush portion of the brush ALWAYS randomly rotates. How do I make the second brush (dual checkmark) on my preset NOT rotate when I paint. The original brush tip shape does not rotate. I just want the dual brush portion always be at one angle.

I have tried everything you mentioned above but no fix. I tried it both on PC (windows 7) and Mac (10.8.5) platforms and in CS5/CS6. Has anyone else experienced this with dual brush? Does it always randomly rotate?
I wonder if it is a system limitation. Can someone try this out and let me know if it works on later version of Photoshop?
I've attached an example of the problem: The brush tip shape is the soft round. The dual brush is the star. As you can see the star rotates randomly. I just want the star to remain at an upright angle (or even at the direction of my pen tilt would be nice). Bottom line is I want to control the angle of the dual brush.

Using Resize effect to resize the component to 100percent

I am using resize component to show the opening of a datagrid which contains itemrenderers.The number of itemrenderers is not fixed hence i want to use the resize effect to resize the grid from height=0 to height=100%. I m not getting any clue as to how to do percent resize with effects.

I tried setting the font size to Auto, but the problem is that the text starts off really small, at about 12pt font. I really need it to start with large text, eg to start off as one word at say 60pt size, and be able to go down to two words on the top line and two words on the bottom line, at around 20 pt size. So it starts large, but goes down in size with the more text that is put in.
I am making editable Avery Labels for teachers - 10 to a page - to put kids names in, or subjects and names.
Also... is it possible to cenre the text vertically with in the text box?

I have an XML input in my transaction. I was able to generate the WSDL without problems. But need to know how to test it by sendig in some XML data. Probably, we could both be helping each other in the process.
