Dreamweaver 2014 won't launch in Mavericks... has anyone experienced this problem?

I downloaded the new 2014 version of Dreamweaver today & it won't launch in Mavericks... also dowloaded it to my PC & that works OK. Has anyone had this problem?

Looks like this is happening because of some issue during installation of the product.
Can you try the following:
1. Un-install DWCC 2014. Note: Before un-installing, I would suggest you to backup any user preferences files, extensions or site settings.
2. Log out from your Adobe ID login in creative cloud.
3. Log-in back again and then download and install the product.
I am suggesting it since the same process helped one another user. Hence seeing if you are also encountering the same issue.

In the FCP Browser, click on the source clip that is showing up sized incorrectly to select it. Once it is selected, type Command + 9 to see the item properties for the clip. Either report those properties here, or take a screen shot of the item properties and post the screen shot here.
Next, click anywhere in your sequence timeline and then type Command + 0 {zero} to see your sequence settings. Either report those settings or take a screen shot of the sequence settings and post that screen shot here.

Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
Come back with the results.
An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.

This is not a problem I have only had with 7th gen. iPod. I have had this problem with the 5th gen. It goes back a few years. Nike and Apple are aware of this. Nothing has been done. It appears that when the iPod voice commences (whether to update you on the status of your run) and you touch a button to prompt a mileage update or song change yourself (or even brush the device wrong when taking off a jacket), the operating system overloads and cannot sort it out. It then shuts down and reboots. Your mileage is lost. So sorry. Have a nice day.
Love the other aspects of running with a nano (small and light weight). I can keep it high and dry and out of the way. Like the software. Use it almost everyday. Hate the unknown dropped runs. I have logged over 2,000 miles with these devices. Today I lost another 3 miles - probably the 30-40th time it has happened. Frustration is somewhere between time for another device to time for another system - Map My Run indeed!
This probably occurs with my iPod once or twice a month. Went to the Apple Store - three times. The first time was maybe two years ago and they first tried some magic dust and then on the second visit, they swapped out my nano - it was a bit flimsy. The problem returned. I then upgraded. The problem returned. The third time they did a reset and it seemed to help. Then, it returned. But to download an older software version, verify the fidelity of the UBS cable, jump from computer to computer, make a trip to the Apple store, and perform so many two steps on one leg just to get what we paid for seems . . . well, lame. And, Apple told us the thingy would work using all the different computers and software (Vista, Nike, etc. etc.).
Oh, one other thing. The Apple Store told me to complain to Nike. Nike said their software is fine. This is like dealing with General Motors or the government - but, worse. Not my problem man. See the guy over there. Got it.
I note that no one from Apple is jumping in the chain here with a fix. So much for customer exuberance. Generally like Apple. We have about 20 Apple devices in our family (desktops, portables, phones, pods, tablets) and are lining up for the watches . . . but, maybe Apple is an idea who time has come and gone, . . . like the wind.

I have created a form in 4.5.
It has one window, this window has a content view and a stacked view.
I use set_view_property to show the stacked view when an event is triggered.
My problem is I can see the stacked view canvas but not the text on it.

From what I understand the driver updates are included in the OS update. Just keep checking for the latest.

If the total purchase price of the media including any applicable taxes or fees exceeds the balance of the redeemed card, then the difference is charged to your debit or credit card account.

Has anyone experienced this problem connecting to iTunes Store

When attempting to download content from the iTunes StoreI receive an error message, saying that there is a problem with this download,"an unknown error occurred [-1303]"
I experience the same problem downloading podcasts to which I subscribe via iTunes.
Apple have confirmed the network connection to Store is fine. I click Check for Available Downloads, the content attempts to download and then I get the same error message "there is a problem with downloading your items". I have removed and reinstalled the latest version of iTunes, but no luck.
The problem has now got worse, as it seems the entire iTunes installation on my system is causing problems. The tracks in my iTunes Library do not play. I have Apple TV in my living room, but it cannot now access any of my AV content stored in my iTunes library. I also have Sonos music streaming system, which has lost contact with the music stored in my iTunes library.
I have iTunes v.10.4.1.10 installed. My ISP is Virgin Broadband with a cable modem. I have the XXL high speed broadband package with up to 50mb.
Clearly there is something wrong here with iTunes, not the content I am trying to access. Can anyone help? Thank you, russell 1402

Dreamweaver CS6 won't launch on Mavericks.
I've tried reinstalling Dreamweaver. I've tried removing Java. I've read the online suggestions.
But, Dreamweaver CS6 still won't launch. Darn it.
Any ideas?

Leaving PSE out of the picture, temporarily, do your devices show up in Windows Explorer and can you copy images from them to a folder on your computer's drive?
First you want to disable the Photo Downloader. To disable the downloader, find the little camera icon on the bottom right hand side of the Windows taskbar, right click on it, and you should be given the option to disable it.
Next, click on "Start" on Windows task bar, open the "All programs" list, find "Scanner and Camera Wizard" in "Accessories." This program - Scanner and Camera Wizard - will be the default program you use to download photos from iphone to computer. Every time you connect your iphone with your computer, you should be given a dialogue window where you can pick the "Scanner and Camera Wizard" program to download the photos. Once selected, the program will take you through a step-by-step wizard to download the photos. Within the process of downloading, you can select folders or create a new folder for the photos. In my opinion, making a new folder makes it easier to import them altogether into photoshop organizer where I usually do the "Smart Fix" for all the photos.
Once you have the photos downloaded, open up Photoshop's organizer interface, go to "files," and then "Get photos and videos." Here you will select "from files and folders." Locate the folder where the photos are stored, and then import them directly into Photoshop. Now, you should be at where you usually land if the photo downloader was working properly.
Also do check if you have updated the software to te latest patch.Go to the Editor menu and click:

You should see a pop up with the version number.
Press Esc to close.
Help >> Check for updates
to install the latest patch.

When I try download new os 5.1.0 on my iPhone 4 I get this error message "stopped (err = -3259)" after it has downloaded. Has anyone had this problem and if so what is the fix.

I have a number of hard drives that my Mac Book Pro no longer 'recognises' at least for very long. When I turn them on the deskstop icon shows up but then shortly afterwards I get a message saying that it has been unplugged incorrectly. I haven't unplugged it any of them. Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.

Just create a new page (or use the existing photo page) on your external site and use html to add an iframe sized to the page and link it to the mobilme gallery page. Works for me just fine when showing my gallery from a yahoo site.
