Dreamweaver 3 Serial Number

Hi. I have the original CD but cannot find the registration card or the serial number for Dreamweaver 3.0. How can I get it?

Hi Ian,
usually, in this case, your seller is your main point of contact. Naturally the Adobe support: http://www.adobe.com/support/service/?promoid=DTEHX will help you too.
In some cases you also can search by Google for ways of reading/getting the serial number of an/your installed DW.

  • Dreamweaver Serial Number Entry Fails - even trial version, serial screen freezes

Well, I have Vista Home Premium, and a new hard drive. I
previously had Dreamweaver CS3 installed, but then had to get a new
hard drive. So, I downloaded the trial off the website, and the
install runs fine. I sold my old copy of Dreamweaver, thinking I
didn't need it. Now, I realize I do need it after all, so I will be
    buying a new license.
However, when I first load Dreamweaver, and it asks for the
license or to try the trial, I click try the trial, and "next".
Well, it just freezes on me, and I have to either end the process,
or just let it sit there doing nothing. The installation worked
fine - but it just won't load. I ever tried using a friends serial
key (ONLY to see if I could get past the initial screen), but it
froze, too. I'm glad I haven't bought a serial yet - waste of money
    if this won't work.
On the other hard drive, everything worked just fine, and I
deactivated and ran the CS3 installer cleanup. The ONLY change from
then until now is getting a new SATA hard drive, and changing from
IDE mode to SATA on the bios.
I have done three or four reformats, and have tried the
    following:
Plain install, with everything in normal state
Reformat, install after installing drivers, some software
Reformat, install with NO drives, except for ethernet
Reformat, install with all drivers, UAC in Vista left ON
I'm out of ideas. I'm tried of reinstalling Vista, although
    it does install fast.
    Here's what happens:
Copy installer from flash drive to hard drive
    Run installer, which extracts itself
    Run real installer, installs fine
    Reboot (in some cases, didn't)
    Open Dreamweaver
Select free-trial (or, in one case, tried friend's product
    key)
    Click next
    Screen freezes
Then, I have tried: ending all Adobe processes (bonjour,
Dreamweaver, licensor, etc), reboot, and try again. Same result
Just reboot, try again - same result
Turn off all firewalls, security devices, etc BEFORE
installing for the first time. Same result.
Uninstalled, ran CS3 cleaner utility, installed again. Same
    result.
    Again, the ONLY changes are:
Different hard drive (250GB Seagate 7200.10 SATA, instead of
    160GB Western Digital Caviar IDE).
So - did the installer off the website change? Does it not
work now? Does it get stuck on the registration page?
I have tried Flash and Photoshop, too. Both have the same
result. What could be conflicting with the licesning service to
make it freeze like that? Can I manually tell it to go to a trial
mode, or manually enter in a license key in some file?
I'm leery of trying a P2P version, which would be an earlier
version of CS3, because I'm not sure what baggage would come with
it, nor do I want to end up in court for trying to get Adobe's
    product to work.
    Thanks for any help!

  • Dreamweaver serial number not being accepted.

My PC had to be reinstalled due to a faulty harddrive, and when I went to reinstall the software it gave me a message asking to re-enter DW 8 serial number.  It accepted the serial number (I got the green check mark), and then proceeded to a screen that asked for the PRIOR version serial number as well.  I entered the DW 7.0 serial number, and the screen did not proceed to activate the software.  I called technical support and they tested and validated that both serial numbers are fine.  How can I get past the screen do get working again is Dreamweaver 8?  I have reinstalled the software and tried several times, but keep getting stuck at the same screen where it asks for but does not accept my DW 7.0 serial number, which tech support says is valid. Help!

  • Finding Dreamweaver Serial Number

I tried the Dreamweaver trial and then ordered and installed
CS3 from a DVD without uninstalling Dreamweaver. During the
download I saw the install software recognize the Trial Dreamweaver
on my hard drive and skip that install from the DVD. But now the
Trial is almost at the end of the 30 days and the CS3 serial number
I have from the DVD box doesn't work for registering Dreamweaver. I
tried Tech Support, but their systems are down. How do I get the
    right Serial Number?
    Jennifer, Golive refugee....

You can uninstall completely and then just install from the
    DVD.

  • Dreamweaver Serial Number Issues/Customer Support?!?!?!?!?

Wow... I never thought I would have this sort of issue with an Adobe product...
I have purchased a copy of Dreamweaver CS4.. got to use it for a few days...
and now its telling me my serial is no longer valid??
I thought at first, oh no.. I screwed up and installed too many times.. but after checking the EULA, I'm fine...
    so why the issue??
Now my software won't work...I've been on hold with customer service for over an hour... and have an intense project due for work...
and well.. frankly... if the project doesn't get completed by the appropriate deadline, I'll be out of a job...
I would hope that Adobe makes this situation right... I'll be a little shocked if they would allow a guy to lose $400 on software, lose his job... and fly him the bird....
anyone else had this sort of issue? I've read some scarry things already in just the few minutes I've been on hold waiting....
    we'll see...

I have purchased a copy of Dreamweaver CS4.. got to use it for a few days...

  • Not Recognizing Serial Number

For awhile now, my Dreamweaver CS6 does not recognize my serial number. I bought it with the Production Premium CS6 Suite.
I've tried to put in my serial number numerous times and nothing it working. It says that it is not a valid Dreamweaver Serial Number.
I have also contacted costumber support and they were no help at all. They went around my problem and didn't help.
Anyone have any ideas or an answer?
    ((I have Windows 7.))

Dreamweaver CS6 is not included in the Production Premium CS6 Creative Suite.
So did you purchase Dreamweaver CS6 as a separate standalone product? If so, it will have its own separate serial number. Did you purchase the boxed version or as a download from Adobe.com?

  • How can I install Dreamweaver CS5.5 using my serial number? I only see the trial download for CS6.

My company bought CS5.5 Creative Suite, and one of my coworkers used our license for Dreamweaver on his computer. Now he has left the company, and I would like to install the license on my computer so I can use it from my station.
When we installed the software on his computer, we simply downloaded the trial version and then entered our serial number. However, now I can only find the download for CS6, and putting my serial number in there for CS5.5 does not magically download that version for me, unfortunately.
Does anyone know how I can install the license on my computer? I thought it would be allowed to have it on two computers, just only one computer would be able to access the software at a time. I just need to figure out how to install it...

I talked to Adobe staff, and apparently I needed to use the Adobe licensing website, licensing.adobe.com. I'll need to talk to my IT department, who bought the software, to get the account information for the site, but I'm on the way to success!

  • I would like to put Dreamweaver 8 on a new computer.  There is no "deactivate" function and the technical support person I chatted with recommended I come here.  Can I just use the serial number again?  How can I deactive?  Has anyone else run into this?

If you manage to get it installed on your current OS, don't forget to install the 8.02 update.

  • Dreamweaver CS4 Serial Number Activation

I used to have Dreamweaver CS4 on my computer. I recently changed laptop so I desactivated the serial number and desinstalled the software. I am now trying to reinstall it on my new laptop but the serial number is not recognized. Any ideas on what I should do?

Was your previous version a Student/Teacher or Volume Licensed Edition from a reseller?
    Find your serial number quickly
Have you logged in to your Adobe account to confirm you have the correct serial number?

  • Serial Number Prob after upgrading Dreamweaver 8.0 to Studio 8

I've just upgraded my Dreamweaver 8.0 to Studio 8.0 to get
full versions of Flash and Fireworks. When I try and activate my
Flash (or Fireworks) it asks for an Upgrade serial number after I
put in the new serial number supplied for all the Studio 8
products. The only serial number I have is the Dreamweaver 8.0 one
which is what I upgraded from and putting this in doesnt help.
    Where am I going wrong?

I've reported it to Customer Support but because of the
Easter holiday I doubt I'll get a reply for a few days. I really
need access to Flash now and would appreciate any advice anyone
    has.

  • How Do I Find My Dreamweaver CS4 Serial Number?

How do i find dreamweaver cs4 serial number?

If it's registered, you would just log into your Adobe account and it will be listed there under Applications and Subscriptions.
Otherwise, it's either on your installation disk, or in the original email (which you printed and saved for future use, right?) that you got when you purchased the download from your online retailer of choice.
If none of the above, you're probably stuck, Adobe no longer supports CS4.

  • Lost Dreamweaver CS6 serial number

I have had Dreamweaver CS6 for a while without installing it, now I'm trying to install it and register it but I have lost the serial number.  I have a copy of my purchase receipt from the reseller and have contacted the them every which way I can but have not received a response (there phone number is disconnected as well.  I've also done multiple searches on the forums and tried every which way suggested with no success.  i hate to post this because there are so many similar posts out there but so far im at a dead end. Is there any other way I can recover my serial number?

    Hello Joshua,
first of all you should have a look at Adobe's database, to see what's stored/saved about your accounts.
https://www.adobe.com/account.html  >>> see My productsView all >>> These registered products are associated with your Adobe ID. >>> Name >>> Serial number.
If not successful use http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html  >>> I lost my serial number >> see comment
The last time Adobe suggests so too this https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?step=ZNA_downloading-installing-setting-up_licensing- activation
If necessary and for further questions click through http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html and if "open" please use the chat, I for may part had the best experiences. I quote from Adobe's employee Preran: The chat button is activated as soon as there is an agent available to help.

  • Dreamweaver CS4 Serial Number Problems

Hi guys, I bought a new copy of Dreamweaver CS4 a couple of years ago, installed it, and its run fine. I don't build websites for a living, have just built one for myself and a couple of groups I'm involved with.
Just a few weeks back, I went to use the program and it told me to enter my Serial Number. I thought this was a bit wierd as I'd been using the program for a couple of years, and entered the Serial Number provided on the packaging when first installed. When I entered the Serial Number a red X appeared next to the number and the message "The serial number you entered is not valid"
Why would this have happened? Has the program been corrupted? I've been using the program without any problems until this started, now I can't seem to get into it. How can I fix this problem?
    Many thanks.

Hi everyone, thanks so much for your replies, I really appreciate it. Sorry for my slow response, I have to travel a bit for my work so have been away lately. Jim, I have checked the serial number a few times to make sure I didn't mess it up. But am still having issues.
Carey, the problem I'm having isn't with trying to install it on a new pc. The problem is with my two current pc's. I first loaded the product to my main pc approx 2 years ago, and its been working fine. I installed it to my laptop more recently when my main pc went in for some repairs. Its been working fine on the laptop too. However, in December last year, my main pc was struck with a virus. I don't know if this was at all related to the issues I'm now having with my serial number,  but the next time I went to use Dreamweaver, it started giving me a countdown for when I'd need to install my serial number. When that countdown reached 30 days it locked me out. When I entered my serial number, the red X appeared next to it and said "The serial number you entered is not valid".
The program worked fine on my laptop, until I went to use it a couple of weeks ago, and now when I open it an error message pops up which reads:
"Licencing for this product has stopped"
"This product has encountered a problem which requires that you restart your computer before it can be launched"
Then it goes on to tell me that if the problem continues I should contact Adobe, and it gives the error message: "Error: 148:3"
When I restart my computer, I get the same error message.
I have been really happy with the product. I don't want to install it on a new pc, I just want to sort out the serial number issues that have started and to get it working again on my existing pc and laptop.
Thanks again everyone for your help.
